Wonderful

Wonderful location, value for money & very friendly staff

Duvet cover had a rip in it & I suspect it was not a fresh cover - housekeeping should have noticed it

Would have liked to have been in main hotel as we stayed in the annex but I guess wanting 3 twin rooms limits us But still ok

Very poor accommodation

Central location

The ‘annexe’ is a wooden hut in the middle of the hotel car park. The room had a terrible smell (of sewage / drains). It was so bad that I couldn’t stay there. The hotel couldn’t offer alternative accommodation, so I had to find somewhere else for the night at very short notice. The hotel promised a refund, but this hasn’t happened, despite numerous emails and messages.

Breakfast & dinner were nice As old building floors were really creeky as was the bed. Everything spotless, quite a small room

Great stay in this traditional hotel,really enjoyed the time in Dunkeld ❤️

Central to walks , shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The town is beautiful and has a lot to offer.

Its location.

Bit dated, walls between rooms very thin. Pillows were dreadful, lumpy and though clean needed replacing.

Good value, great staff and great location

Good value in the bunk house with a lovely breakfast and attentive / friendly staff.

Bunk house doesn’t look great from the outside but they’re very comfortable and do the job

would definitely return . enjoyed our visit.

perfectly pleasant and clean room. It was spacious and comfortable. Central to lots of lovely walks. Staff were absolutely charming and couldn’t have been more helpful.

Could have a more varied dinner menu. Not much choice available for vegan/vegetarians. Would have liked decaffeinated coffee in the room anc available in restaurant.

Staff were great. Went out of their way to help. Bed was comfortable. Was in a good location

room wasn't cleaned, cobwebs all over the ceiling. Walls you could hear everything through. Menu had loads of things not available.

Staff were really lovely, good food. Gorgeous building.

Wasn't the cleanest, and the light wasn't working in the shower. Very basic/fine stay!

The breakfast is really good. On-site parking. The shower is really good.

When we arrived, the chalet was nice and warm but it got a bit colder later on and an extra blanket would have been good.

Cooked food was passable.

On entering the hotel we found a picture lying on the floor. It had fallen off the wall. The stair carpet was ripped. The curtains in our room were too small and didn't cover the window. The ceiling smoke detector in our room had no cover and the wires were hanging out! No shelving or towel rail in the bathroom. Bedside lamp was falty. Hall lighting outside our room did not work. At breakfast the jug containing hot water had no button to allow it to pour - the waitress said I needed to unscrew the lid to pour the hot water.! Only 2 staff on duty covering bar, dining, reception. On arrival the receptionist said she had no record of our booking booked through booking.com.

we stayed as a group and our rooms were fine. Lovley breakfast and a great location staff were good

Dated but lovely hotel

We absolutely adored dinner, one of the best meals I've ever ever had. Chef is absolutely amazing Receptionist was there in the evening and morning she was extremely helpful and very welcoming Man taking our order in the evening was lovely and had us Laughing away all night. Breakfast was quick and lovely

The room was cold unfortunately They did seem slightly short staffed (no fault of there own)

Good place to stay if you don't mind that it is a little too aged and the rooms are very small.

Location was good - breakfast was really good

Was expensive, although cheaper than the most expensive place in Dunkeld. Dank and dusty; needs to be refreshed a lot. Room was incredibly small; not room to walk around open suitcases. Was afraid if there was a fire - how to get out!

items missing from room ie spoons for making coffee. ran out of food for breakfast, dining room was freezing. that said, it was -9 outside and snowing so deliveries could have been affected
