Prachtige locatie met zwembad

Located at the edge of Ngorongoro conservation area, Pembeni benefits from great views, relative isolation, and proximity to the forest. You can hear animals at night while waking up to impressive views. The staff is incredible attentive and accommodated all our requests. Food was good too with breakfast cooked to order until 10 am. The tents were in good shape with very nice furniture.
Rooms would benefit from additional electric lighting, specially in the bathroom.

The location is secluded and very quiet on the top of a hill in a forest. I had a great and peacful night sleep with the sound of the rain and birds early morning. No mosquitoes or biting bugs. The view from my tent was beautiful especially at sunset. Tents are very clean and good size. Air is clean. staff are very helpful and friendly. Thanks to Abbas for taking care of all my needs during my stay. Meals prepared by the local chef are delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend to stay here if you are planning for safari in either Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire national park or lake manyara (however Serengete is far way). I had a good internet connection in the tent. I recommend going for the ones closer to the reception (number 1-4) if you want to receive internet connection in your tent. Thanks for the great stay at Rhotia. Definitely staying here next time I visit Tanzania :)
The google location is wrong, I advise to follow the signs to the hotel on the road.
Far away from Arusha Airport (at least 2 hours 20 mins drive)

Exciting experience to stay here - luxury tents and lovely food, fantastic view to Ngoro Ngoro. Interesting sounds of nature during the night.
everything is nice!

The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond in service! Food was abundant and well prepared by the chef. The tents are high quality, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is well equipped. Wifi connection good. The view to the right is pleasant.
The price per night is somewhat high- but still very reasonable compared to Lodges in the National Parks.
Unfortunately a directional sign to the Lodge was missing in the last 3km on a challenging dirt road so bumped around needlessly for 15 extra minutes.
The view off to the left is of a small farm and corn fields.

We spent one night at Pembeni, and we loved it. The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. The rooms are great, I still remember being amazed at the views from my bed. The lodge is located next to the Ngorongoro forest and so one can really enjoy the sights and sounds. I highly recommend Pembeni to anyone traveling through Karatu one their way to both Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
Nothing. Everything was perfect :)

Our stay at the Pembeni was an amazing experience. The lodge is situated in a stunning location surrounded by the breathtaking Ngorongoro Forest. The rooms were very clean, beautiful and spacious and the view was outstanding. There was a comfortable deck where we could sit and watch the sunset. The food was amazing and the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. The lush landscape around the lodge was spectacular to watch whilst sitting by the fire place. The lodge provides free wireless connection. We had an amazing time and hope to come and stay again!

We stayed at Pembeni Rhotia for 2 nights on our visit to Ngorongoro. On arrival, we had the chance to meet the owners who were very sweet and spoke to us about their journey. We were then quickly checked in to our tent (#3) and wanted to have a quick shower as they promised hot water all day. We had a lovely shower with an awesome water pressure which is so hard to find in Tanzania and then headed for dinner.
The restaurant is very open in its ambience and is a beautiful place to be. Each table has a set menu and is served with healthy portions. The food was scrumptious and we enjoyed it. The next morning they served a delicious breakfast. We were running late for our safari else we would have eaten more definitely!
Overall, it's a beautiful, homely property. They serve great food too and incredible views of the valley.

The staffs were friendly
The accomodation rooms for the drivers was really inhuman. Their unclean room was inside a container and they didnt have the priviledge of hot water. I woul not support a hotel who treats drivers this way
