The beach and the facilities were good. Hosts not so much. We made it into a good trip.

We arrived at 1pm and did not get a room, not our room STUDIO 30 that we BOOKED. We got a room at 5pm. We were badly treated by the host(male) who we had to keep calling and calling who kept promising us our room would be ready but delivered on none of his promises and we had to keep calling and calling some more sometimes we got no answer. When it was time to go to the room the housekeeper(female) she was giving my partner attitude and told us if we didnt like the place we could leave after being delayed for so many hours. We got a replacement as it was to late to go back home. Other than a leak in the bathroom the room we got was good and WE made the most of our time. They didnt offer any reconciliation and had the audacity to come to my room at exactly 11AM on the day of my departure. I did not leave until 1pm.

The location was excellent for exploring Ochio Rios. The bed was spacious and comfortable. The colonial style buildings and the grounds were a pleasure. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The shower room was tiny. The shower was about 3'x3'. There was not enough room to shower comfortably. Some of the furniture was old and broken. Only one bedside lamp worked. The main light did not work. The constant noise of the next-door AC made it difficult to sleep. Thankfully, we only stayed 3 nights; we were out all day and only used the room in the evening.

MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME, WONDERFULLY RELAXING BEACH WEEKEND

THE VIEW WAS BREATHTAKING!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE STAYING AT SANDCASTLES!!! THE LOCATION IS PERFECT, YOU CAN WALK JUST ABOUT EVERYWHERE. THE SECURITY IS EXCELLENT, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE MANING THE FRONT GATE AND THEN THE BACK GATE FOR THE BEACH ACCESS DURING THE DAY. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS SO HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS.

THE RESTURANT UPSTAIRS HAS GOOD FOOD, WHEN ITS AVAILABLE. I FEEL LIKE THEY CAN DEFINATLEY IMPROVE THE MENU AND BE MORE CONSISTANT...AND HAVE COFFEE. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE COFFEE, I STAY HERE SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR AND USUALY HAVE A FEW MEALS THERE BUT NOT THIS TIME.

Relax and Enjoy!

Location to beach, restaurants and downtown shops. Beach Studio 30 is a very nice place to relax and enjoy Ocho Rios.

Walking up to the 3rd level with suitcases!!! The couch is needing a slipcover to enhance the decor.

Beautiful and clean apartment. great location shame there’s no lift but other than that everything was perfect

the decor was nice and it had all the needed amenities. the view from the studio is amazing and the beach is literally a 3 min walk

the only thing I didn’t like was the stairs. there is no lift do keep that in mind

the room was newly renovated, the grounds was beautiful and scenic. free access to the private beach was nice.

the cab driver for the hotel ( named Cox) was very expensive. we wanted to go do river rafting and he charged us $50USD to drive us less than 10minutes away, and then an additional $35USD each ($70USD total) and brought us to a very unpleasant business, that left us very uneasy and unsafe to be at. This experience left us feeling scammed and upset during the remainder of our visit.

Good option, comfortable stay, in the center of the action in Ocho Rios.

We came in for one night to go to Irie Blue Hole (gorgeous) and have some time on the beach. So it was the perfect location for tours and a nice beach a short walking distance. Plus we walked through the town, visited local markets and businesses and found a cute place for dinner called Miss T's. The room was well-equipped with a couch bed for our daughter, microwave, cooking range, sink, bar, dishes, toaster, blender, etc. so cooking in the room is a real option for the budget conscious. The location was perfect for our one-night visit.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this one had a bathroom more typical of a budget hotel in Japan or Singapore, literally difficult to turn around from toilet to sink to shower. Or, on the bright side, you could shower and shave in the sink at the same time. The pool was ok and staff friendly, but there was police tape roping off different areas during our stay inexplicably. We didn't try the breakfast in the hotel restaurant but there were options down the street that we were pleased with (Reggae Bar).

Exceeded our expectations!

We loved everything! The room and the facilities were clean and modern. The view was exceptional and the proximity to food and recreational activities...perfect! I would definitely recommend this studio! We seriously have no complaints!
