Neighborhood not amazing

Apartment ideally suited for 4 people. Everything clean. Washing machine came in handy. Surroundings was pleasant, some local cafes and bars nearby.
There was a child playground in the inner block and it seems like a lot of people use to come here at night for gatherings as well so it woke us up through some nights, but nothing horrible.

The place is exactly the same as the pictures. It was very clean and comfortable. There was towels, hair dryer and flat iron-all needed for the pleasant stay. The area is nice and quite. Close to the metro station and few supermarkets. Perfect Wi-Fi.

The apartment was super ok. It was clean and had everything you needed. It is situated in front of a little park and if you have little kids it's good because you have a small playground in front. It's 5 minutes away from the metro station, which is how we moved around the city. The apartment it's in a neighbourhood with blocks with flats. There are a lot of parking spots but also a lot of cars. If you come during the day you might easily find a spot. We were lucky and found one at night. We were there in October so we didn't use the AC or the heater, so I cannot comment on that. The host it's super helpful. We will come back for sure.

Awful apartment. Terribile location and rooms not as displayed in the pictures in Booking.com
We even had to do our bed as nobody prepared it for us. I would never recommend the place to Anyone

Once we could enter the property the place itself was nice and homely.
Collecting the keys was a nightmare that lasted about an hour. The host was absent, and communication via telephone in English and French was very limited.
For those who'd like the details: Already to enter the building from the front gate was ridiculous: the host asked us to randomly buzz neighbours to let us in. When that didn't work he called a neighbour, then we had to call him back to know which neighbour we should buzz, and finally we managed to at least enter the building. The ordeal, however, had just started, since we still had to collect the key to the apartment. Turned out, it was in the host's mailbox and he expected us to slide our finger through the narrow letter-entry-hole and get it. The key was hanging precariously from a hook inside the mailbox. Of course, we did not know this, and when I put my finger in the mailbox the key fell inside the mailbox. What to do then? How to get the key of the mailbox to open it to get the key of the apartment? The whole thing was a pantomine, and even the kind neighbours upstairs came down with tongs to help us to try recover the apartment key from inside the mailbox. It didn't work. After some period of pure panic we got a phone call from Booking.com (thanks a lot Booking!!) and one of their personels translated the host's next set of instructions to us in English. Turned out, the key to the mailbox was hidden under the doormat of the apartment. Once we had that we could open the mailbox, get the key to the apartment and the rest was ok.
The other annoying thing was that I had reminded the host of our arrival date and time few days in advance, as per Booking's instructions. The host did not inform me that he would not be around and that the key collection would be so unbelievably amateurish. He did later send me a mail, in Spanish (I don't know it), and on the day we were traveling so I saw it well after the ordeal was over.
