Prima appartement in bruisend stadje

Het appartement is sfeervol ingericht en van veel gemakken voorzien. De drie verdiepingen maken dat je ook met kleine kinderen hier kunt overnachten. De gastheer was op afstand heel behulpzaam toen onze sleutel ergens anders lag dan zou horen. Heeft hij keurig bij geholpen en opgelost.

De bakkerij als onderbuur zorgt wel voor wat herrie in de late avond en nacht. Het appartement ligt direct aan de doorgaande weg, wat je kunt horen, zeker nu er tot diep in de nacht trekkers en combines van de graanoogst langsrijden. Op zich niet problematisch, maar houd er rekening mee dat je dit in juli/begin augustus kunt verwachten.

Gîte confortable et joliment aménagé mais sur 2 niveaux (1er et 2ème étage).

Gîte joliment aménagé, tout ce qu'il fallait s'y trouvait (lave-vaisselle, four, micro-ondes, séche-cheveux...) Pas de table à repasser mais pas grave. Chauffage impecc. boulangerie juste à côté.

Lit en mezzanine pas confortable et ménage sous les lits laissait à désirer, le reste était très propre. Dommage que le salon ne soit pas au même étage que la salle à manger et un peu dérangés par le bruit de la boulangerie la nuit mais sinon: très contents de notre petit séjour et propriétaire très sympa. Merci à lui de nous avoir aidé à récupérer le code d'entrée dans son gîte car mail reçu trop tard de Booking ;-)

Un très bon moment agréable en famille.

Tout était parfait, nous n avons pas eu l occasion dé bénéficier du petit déjeuner et n avons pas rencontrer le propriétaire.

Chose très très importante qu il faut savoir et qui n est pas noter dans la description de la maison , c est qu elle n est absolument pas prévue pour personne à mobilité réduite et les escaliers 3 rampes !! Ne sont pas pratique du tout . Mais sinon RAS pour le reste .

One Night in Samer

It was really clean and comfortable and a great place to stay. I'll keep this in reserve for my next trip back from France and would love to stay again. I could see my MC from the window!

Short and not so sweet

The property is in a central location. We were there over the weekend so parking was free and right by the town hall. It is a short car ride to eating areas and the channel tunnel. It has all amenities and looks very modern. Easy to enter and get keys (once you found were it was - ask the bakery). Once the central heating is working it can get too warm. Plesent view of square.

You could see the owner wasn't bothered about actually taking care of his property, which is a pity. Guard-railings wobbled, so did one chair (we were afraid of sitting on it). Place wasn't cleaned apart from whatever the previous renter did. On the surface/at first glance it looked fine, but there was coffee stains in the coffee machine, dirty teapot, limescale in the kettle, stains on beds/cushions and the worst of all: the bathroom shower was filthy . We slept over on one of the coldest day of the year because of Hurricane Jorge, but no instructions on how to get the central heating working. After a lot of hassle we realised the heating in the only bedroom (the other beds are on the mezzanine) was just broken, so no-one slept there (it was dead cold), we dragged the bed into the living-room instead. Advertised as 6-8 people but only suitable for 6, as the bedsofa is super uncomfortable and actually fits 2 teenagers, not two adults. When some of these things were flagged to the owner, he basically said we were haters and that next time we should go to a 5 star hotel. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Such a waste - all the place needs is a decent cleaner and someone to screw and hammer some stuff in place and it it would live up to its promise/potential.

Absolutely nothing

Everything. One bed was not done at all. One bed with crumpled sheets , i even have doubts if they were cleaned ... grinding beds !!! Shower cabine is so ridiculously small ! And it stinks ! Awfully in the kitchen . I like air bb but here you really don’t want to sleep !!!
