Comfy beds
Slightly disappointed with the evening meal, bland and tasteless, disappointed with one off the bar staff, long haired man was rude and unhelpful, stood at bar for 14 mins before being acknowledged and the bar was not busy and referred to me’ il get to you hi when I’m ready, I was mortified , a lot off dust in room furniture and a lampshade which was ripped and torn in right room

The staff in the bar were amazing, went out of their way to find a hostess cart, and refilled the coffee packets and milk pots for us.
The kids loved the breakfast buffet and making their own pancakes.
The only vending machine sold just snacks. It would have been nice to be able to buy a bottle of water. The bar staff were nice and gave us a pitcher of water to take back to our room.

Property is in a great location and walking distance to fairground which are good for children and other local
Amenities.
We had requested a family room which we were disappointed with. It was a standard hotel room with a travel cot in it. I had requested the family room for the extra space and expected the room to be larger and have another bed despite not using it as this is what is detailed in the description linked to the family room.

Breakfast and location was great
Firstly we have to wait 30 minutes to check in because our room was not ready. Staff st reception were not very helpful. The decor in the hotel and room is pretty outdated.
The shower in the bedroom was awful, there was 3 drops of water at each flow.
We barely got any sleep due to the heavy bedroom doors, people were running up and down the corridor to the early hours shouting and slamming doors.
The surroundings of the jacuzzi (plastic) was broken and falling apart

Breakfast was lovely
Pool was too cold and our room was a little cold
9.0 / 10.0
The location, the people, the breakfast, and the pint of Guinness, probably one of the best I have had in a hotel.
The golf course Bundoran Golf Club was a great track, and the people in the pro shop very helpful.
The mattress on my bed was a bit hard, and my shoulders and hips were a bit sore in the mornings.

The views
The Hotel was very basic for a four star. Rooms could be decorated much better. Could do with a freshen up.

shower didn’t work, swimming pool freezing, changing rooms dirty, rooms where cold

The room (153) was beyond expectations-modern, super clean, stunning views of the golf course.
There was a warm welcome at reception on arrival (this makes a difference).
The gentleman in the bar was efficient, exceptional (very dapper) and had very high standards of customer service.
The excessive noise from other families from 10pm/11pm onwards, however the staff at reception sorted it out.
This is basic courtesy to other guests/ awareness of others.
This cannot always be controlled by the hotel.
Reception standards at night need to be the same at daytime.
Reception`s main job is resolving issues. When resolving problems-use sorry, thank you etc.

Restaurant staff, breakfast, dinner and facilities in room
Unsupervised Children running shouting, bouncing basket ball, banging on my room door waking our five year old between 9pm and 1am. Asked for staff help and they asked the kids to keep the noise down but refused to speak to their parents who were drinking in the pub. Staff and manager not interested and afraid to upset their parents. Noise from the children continued until after the pub closed. Corridor was extremely noisy all night with no staff monitoring or interested in what was going on. Children aged between 4 and 11 roaming around corridors and reception until after midnight unsupervised and without staff attention. The receptionist at checkin was unfriendly and disinterested. Staff knew a 5 year old was staying in the room and assigned us a room close to the pub, vending machine, noisy corridor and with a room that looked into emergency steps and concrete. I've attached the photo. I would only recommend staying if you don't plan to sleep much and don't expect good customer service from hotel staff. The restaurant staff and food were very good.
