The apartment is in a great location and very close to a wide range of cafes and restaurants (can recommend La Cale - Solidor). The apartment is perfectly set up for either 2 singles, a couple or two couples, with 2 bedrooms, each with an ensuite. It is spacious and light, with great decor, and being on a corner has numerous windows with great views. It is fitted with all the amenities you need - wish we could have stayed longer.
It was not a negative for us - but the lift is out of order (which is not the fault of the host). For some, it may be difficult to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

Location was absolutely fantastic - amazing view from the apartment and situated in a lovely safe area, lovely restaurant and cafes and an easy 20 mins stroll into the walled town of st malo from there - lovely little beach just down from apt too - ideal and highly recommend
Only drawback is no elevator but stairs are wide and easy to navigate

This is a great little apartment with wonderful view across the bay. The apartment had good facilities. Possible to store bicycles in the courtyard area. Perfect for 2 people.
You need to be good friends or family if more than 2 of you are staying as access to the bathroom and toilet is via the bed room.

Beautiful views of the sea and castle, it is in a gorgeous location in a quieter part of the city! It was well-equipped with a coffee machine and coffee pods, a kettle, cooking utensils and a washing machine. The heating was great, and it was also nice to be able to have a bath! It was so calm and I loved hearing the sound of the waves. The owner sent clear instructions about how to access the property. The WiFi worked well and it was the perfect location to work from home. Highly recommended!

Location is great - lovely views. Apartment is lovely and airy.
No linen for sofa bed and was quickly rectified by the owner. However, the replacement linen from next apartment were smelly and was not freshly laundered.
It would have been nice to have some toiletries.
Finally, the lift was out of order.

It is located in a nice neighborhood, which has a few nice restaurants, including both creperies and more upscale fine dining.
It is also nice that you can park on the street, but honestly, if you go more centric in St-Malo parking is also not so very expensive.
I was surprised to find that there were two apartments, one labeled “BIS” which is where the host made us stay. The photos in the ad are mainly from the main apartment, which is apparently much nicer. The “BIS” has no nice windows with beach views, it has a very disturbing bathroom and not the nice kitchen from the ad pictures.
In addition to this, the apartment was clearly not professionally cleaned, which does not explain the cleaning fee, and it had a bad smell overall.
The elevator did not work.
I contacted the owner and she said that it is not her fault the ad is confusing and was not willing to offer compensation, so I will contact the French DGCCRF about this and see what they can mediate. If this happens to you too you can reach out to them at https://www.economie.gouv.fr/dgccrf/General-Directorate-for-Competition-Policy-Consume (in English). Note you must do this within 8 days.

The building work which took place all day, each day, throughout our stay.
The apartment could have been cleaner.

property perfect, only downside was a party on the beach that went on until 4:30am which was noisy as had to have windows open due to the heat!

Loved the location, quiet area. Good walk into centre historique. Loved the layout of the apartment, had everything you needed. Lovely beach just outside the apartment. Easy free parking nearby.
Would have loved a balcony/access to an outdoor area.

Top floor apartment in a calm area, very new and with a great view from the window to the tower and the sea.
There is a bay just next to it where one can go swim.
It's a little far from the train station and the main city, but we did not mind a walk!
