Loved this place. We were met by a sister who gave us our key and showed us to our room. Loved the restful and peaceful

Beautiful garden setting. We were told many times to help ourselves to whatever fruit/vegetable we would like. It’s away from the hustle-bustle of the tourists, on a quiet street, but close to a bust stop. Uber was our choice: quick and cheap. The room was clean and confortable with air conditioning

Tranquil and Sweet

This place is the definition of tranquil. The view outside your room is trees and gardens that are tended to by nuns. There is air conditioning and easy and secure private parking. Check in and check out was very easy. A bus stop was very close by; a little market is only a five minute walk away.

There is a little area in the room with a kettle and sandwich press, but it doesn't have a full set of silverware or dishes. The washing machine is communal. Although the neighborhood is mostly residential, there is a hotel nearby, so the entrance to the property, which is controlled by a keypad, is a little dicey given that the road is moderately busy with cars and busses whizzing by.

Gotta luv Dubrovnik ..35euros walk the wall

Location on the grounds of the convent very convenient walk to Old Town and the number 4 bus to return. The nuns friendly and do a wonderful job with the grounds and landscaping. Excellent parking

Communication with Sonia and Anna was spotty. No Wi-Fi maintenance in bathroom no lights above mirror and the handle to the door came off in my hand. Second time staying at eight roses a little more effort keeping the place up is required.

Superb

Everything was great in the place only at the night time the garden's lights were not enough and it feels a bit scary if you are scared from the dark but in the morning it is great with a small table in the garden. And the place owner treated with the organic tomatoes and plums..they were yummy!!

Very quiet location and excellent for visiting the old town - great value for money

Nice quiet and peaceful location within a 20 minute walk to the old town of Dubrovnik. Not too many restaurants in a short walk but the Marangun and Taj Mahal are superb and very close.

If you don't like cats or are allergic to them, (as I am), then the 2 or 3 that walk around freely are sometimes a bit of a nuisance as they are very friendly and want to come up to you and go into the room!

Charming as part of the convent grounds lovely landscaping. Very convenient for the Old Town and the Bellevue Beach. Convenient secure parking. Dubrovnik was fantastic and the guest house worked very well

Beautiful, peaceful comfy apartment outside of the old town

I loved the chair and table outside and the massive comfortable bed. I also liked that the shower was massive and water was nice and hot. The view was gorgeous. It was very peaceful outside the room. The landlady was nice and flexible with me coming earlier.

I couldn't get the tv to work but the landlady did say she would come and show me but I had to go out. Make sure you ask for photos of the street as from the outside it doesn't look like an apartment. You need to put a code in for the sliding door to open for it then go down the steep driveway. It's a bit far from old town if you walk in the heat.

Good quality for this price with some spice. ☺️

Calm however very well located (20mins by walk from the city center, closest beach is within 5 mins). Host is very nice and flexible. We did not know when we booked but the apartments are shared with Nuns whom taking care about the garden and live there generally. It was amazing, we got Blessed when we left. None of the 5 star luxury hotels have this service :)

It was perfect for this price so it would not be fair to mention anything here.

Four day visit to Dubrovnik!

Large studio apartment with all the required facilities. Availability of a private parking space. Located between the old town and the Babin Kuk area. Peaceful setting surrounded by a large green area. A bit away from the main tourist areas, hence quite, but old town still reachable by 20-25 minutes walk. Public transport available, if required.

In case of a longer stay a washing machine would be a big plus. Arrival a bit cumbersome due to lack of access code for the car into the gated area prior to check-in.

Exceptional

Parking was free and easy. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the location because it was far enough away from Old Town and was quiet at night. There was a bus stop about 6 minutes away from the hotel that will take you to Old Town. I suggest getting a bas pass.

This place was a little hard to find, because it was behind a locked gate, but we found it. The hosts were very responsive, so I wasn't lost for long.

Superb

An island of peacefullness in the touristmadness of Dubrovnik. Room had everything it needed. City center is a walkable distance away and there is a beach closeby to cool off after a hot day exploring. Offstreet safe parking. The rooms are part of a monastery with nuns attending to gardens.

Clean, good localisation, private car parking!

Calm area only 20 minutes from the Old Town. Nice garden. Safe car parking. Very big bed! Clean and tidy apartment with a possibility to do laundry or ironing. Close to a very nice and small beach.

The only window in the apartment was the door.
