Great location next to the water and an awesome restaurant (Monks) for our weekend near the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. We really apreciated that it was dog friendly and had nice spaces for the dogs out front and out back. Finding the place was a bit difficult as there are multiple cottages and we arrived late at night but once we found it we were home and very impressed with how spacious and well stocked it was.

Such a beautiful stay at no.3 - The cottage is beautiful. we lit the fire two nights and it was just the perfect stay

They key was literally left in the front door with the outside and inside lights on, heating on and even the electric blanket in the master bedroom turned on! So cosy! When looking for matches one day I called Claire as the shops were not yet open to see if she could tell me if they were in the cottage. 5 minutes later Claire dropped by with a box!
The cottage location is excellent with the view from the windows over the inlet and the cottages opposite just superb. Everything is within walking distance and Bishop's Quarter beach just 2-3km away. Monk's fantastic seafood restaurant down the road is a fabulous bonus.
The downstairs bathroom though large could do with an extractor fan and the floor/shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom could be more waterproof. Other than those two small details we LOVED the cottage and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely place nice comfy sofas and plenty of room for everyone, Lots of dishes and cutlery. Lovely open fine very cosy. Wine fridge a nice touch! Allowed us an early check in. Thanks
An old kettle kept tripping the electricity - needs to be replaced. Also (minor points) there was no tin opener and only a few wine glasses so had to wait for dishwasher to finish.

Pretty cottage, quite comfortable, lots of space. Not much in the village itself but only an hour to Galway and close to Alwee Cave and Cliffs of Moher. Lovely seafood restaurant a minutes walk from the cottage
Was just there for two nights and was disappointed that some of the basics weren't there - silly things like some wood to light the fire, some salt for food etc Have stayed in lots of places around Ireland and this was the first that didn't provide these things. No fun finding a grocery store in the dark to source firelighters and wood and salt - had brought groceries with us to cook a meal but really thought the basics would be there

Location is great, on the outskirts of the village. House was warm & clean, open fire was lovely. Host was very helpful.
Thatched roof was a novelty.
Upstairs bathroom was a little basic. Good break for a group.

I can't think of anything

The location was lovely. We went with our 2 doggies who loved cottage and the back garden.
There was no water in one of the en-suite bathrooms, couldn’t figure out, how to use the shower. The kettle was so old that completely changed the taste of the tea and coffee, so I would suggest either boil water in a pan or ask a new one. ( cottage #4 )

location and the house was lovely, loved thatched cottage and the old half door
oven wasn’t great and more toilet roll

a wonderful authentic experience in an ideal location. the village is a real gem.
being asked to strip beds on leaving as part of covid precautions and empty bins is a bit fresh when they charge €45 as a service charge

Very well furnished and maintained property. Exceeded our expectations. Walking distance to the village and view of Galway Bay from the relaxing conservatory.

very traditional, loved the open fire and the cottage’s vicinity to the sea…
ok it’s Covid time so some comfort things had been removed, but totally understandable…

We were in no.6, it was exceptionally spacious and clean. The fire being lit on arrival was a really nice touch.
The views are fantastic.

Gorgeous scenery. The cottage felt very homely and private. Great for a quiet weekend away.

Cottage so cosy and warm. We arrived late and weather terrible. Cottage so welcoming, warm and fire set up for us. All we had to do was light the fire.
Hope to come back next year

Beautiful Cottage. Very spacious and comfortable.

Superb location - within 2 minutes walk of a shop, restaurants, the pier.
The view was incredible - the house looks right over the water.
Would highly recommend for an intergenerational family holiday, both for the generous-sized house (with ground floor rooms), the location in Ballyvaughan, and the range of activities within an easy driving distance
Only a very tiny thing - there is only one bathroom (with shower, etc.) and the other has just a toilet.

I loved the cottage and the location near the pier. Very comfortable, and decor is amazing, a chic take on the Irish cottage. The slate table and bench was lovely outside, nice garden to rear. Everything is provided.
Not a thing, this is a beautiful cottage.

Fabulous cottage. Highest standard. Everything there that we needed for a super break
4.4
Massive bed, comfortable mattress, cosy fireplace. There was plenty of space and seating, and no room was too confined or tight. Lots of storage per bedroom as well.
A chopping knife in the kitchen would be a great addition! It was hard to prep food without one. And there was a leak in the conservatory roof over the dining table. All easy to fix, I'd say!
