Was a lovely weekend away exploring Thredbo

The location was perfect and staff were amazing.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Great locations but lots of stairs!

What a great location, right in the heart of the village. Allowed us to walk to everything. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and bar downstairs with restaurant was terrific.

Stairs, stairs and more stairs. If you're booking and have bad knees like my husband, make sure you book on the lowest floor possible. We had to move rooms as we'd been booked into a room on the top floor.

Great central location, clean and well maintained facilities with friendly staff.

Friendly staff, clean and functional facilities. Mad Mexican food was tasty.

The access to the bathroom is extremely narrow. Ok for me, but I can see how access would be very difficult for many. There were some excessively noisy patrons one night, however staff took steps to minimise this for future nights.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, willing to do anything to accomodate our various needs. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Beautiful views.

Rooms were hot overnight with no fan or Air con, and windows weren't flyscreened so lots of bugs get in when leaving windows open at night, but this was only a minor issue.

Great place would definitely consider again.

Went in summer and it was the great place to stay, must be great in the ski season due to its proximity to the lifts and restaurants. Fantastic staff and a terrific Mexican restaurant. Good room with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

Attention must be paid to cleaning. We found rubbish tucked away.

check in was supposed to be 2-5 pm at 2 pm we were outside, door still locked we had to call the number in the door for someone to open the person was not very friendly he repeated twice that I SHOULD have received an SMS. I said I didn’t only then he asked:”do you have a foreign (non AU) mobile nr?” which he should have seen from the reservation “then you don’t get an SMS” I would have expected a nicer way to put it: e.g. “sorry, I did not notice you had a non AU mobile nr” in general that is not the first welcome I expect.

Location was good.

No real options for breakfast, always closed in the mornings. Small rooms, no where to get boots on and off, as hotel lobby has only 1 bench seat. People check in, checking out, food delivery to kitchen and skiers putting boots on all in same space. Very average.

Clean & very comfortable bed with great view of the mountain

Check in process was long as no one was on front desk for at least 20 min. I rang in advance to see if we could check in an hour earlier & left voicemail msg as no-one answered. No call back either. Parking access for unloading/loading (only 1 car spot) & restaurant being fully booked. The lodge should advise customers to book in advance if they want to eat at the restaurant. Went on standby twice and no response from the restaurant.

The breakfast came too slowly. Over 1/2 an hour wait and it was cold. I only ordered eggs on toast so I can't understand why it took so long

Pleasant

Amazing location and really nice restaurant downstairs - for breakfast over the weekend and dinner every night if you need it.

The bar and restaurant downstairs were great, but with kids lacked a lounge or somewhere similar for them to hang out. The room didn't have a lounge area, so it was on the bed or outside.

Convenient and comfortable on snow accommodation.

Location and access to everything. Staff were super friendly and a pleasure. The room suited us all very well. Ski and boot storage was accessible and easy to use and access. Plenty of in room storage and hanging to dry ski clothes.

Bathroom shower leaked a bit which made the floor very wet.

Central, comfortable and warm

Location was excellent. Very close to the centre of the village where shops, restaurants and lifts are accessed. Basic room but plenty of space. Beds were comfy. Bathroom had been recently renovated so while somewhat small, showers were well appointed and clean with plenty of water hot. There was a good size ski and board room accessed from reception but the best thing was the drying room. There is something special about being able to put on warm dry boots in the morning.

There aren’t any laundry facilities on site or in the village so you need to catering for that when packing clothes. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room to be able to sit and read.

Great hotel in a great location serving great food. Overall a wonderful stay

Beds were very good. The bathroom was great and well presented. Access to ski fields and storage facilities for ski stuff was very good too.

It was hard to get access to the restaurant for dinner but that was a problem everywhere in Thredbo so not a huge complaint. There wasn't any chairs in the room but that might be a small complaint. The show leaks water through the corner and wets the floor.
