The staff hahaha
Everything, super basic and not clean for the value of money paid
I changed the room 3 times during a 4 night stay

The view was beautiful. The room was really nice and big. Definitely couples only - the art and decor is risque. Nice resort for 1 night.
The food was meh - the "free breakfast" was very minimal and the rest of breakfast you had to pay for. The hot water handle on our tub was broken.

We liked the location. The balconies open to a beautiful ocean view and sound. The property is quiet and laid back compared to other places. Not much to do. It’s for people who really enjoy quietness and tranquility.
The presentation of the food was very artistic. The food en general was good for the first two nights and then it was repetitive and not tasty at times. Dessert was cheap and sometimes old. We had problem with hot water, we had to remind them all the time to turn on the boiler up. Other than that everything else was fine.

Maybe food, nothing special
Staff didn’t follow up on the problems, they didn’t care. Air conditioner didn’t work and they nothing to fix it

I enjoyed how peaceful it was. The staff was friendly and helpful. The drinks and food were amazing. It was the perfect getaway.
I’d like more veggie friendly food options at dinner but overall it was a great experience.

The infinity pool and day beds are the highlight
The food is not great.
The facilities were once nice and now are falling into disrepair. One day we had no water in the entire building and the next day no electricity whatsoever. I would not recommend.

This was our second visit to Senses Riviera Maya, a wonderful little boutique hotel set up in the picturesque backdrop of turquoise waters, sun and endless blue skies that just recharges one’s spirit! The rooms are spacious, featuring a spa like shower and tub, and all have a magnificent ocean view. They have a beautiful infinity pool and beach access within steps of the resort. The vibe here is that of tranquility and relaxation, with an emphasis on customer service. Do not expect wild parties (although I’m sure Karen, the knowledgeable concierge, could help you set up transportation if such experience is what you desire!). There is one full restaurant and a snack/quick lunch bar, on different levels. The dishes are tasty and made fresh, so prepare to be a little patient with that in mind. At night, Hernan, one of the evening servers, became our go to for food suggestions, drink ideas and dessert guru. During the day, Habib, one of the day servers, became adept at making my husband’s favorite drink and answering questions about the area and hotel. Both of these individuals were the gold standard in hospitality and made our day to day stay comfortable and enjoyable. At the end of our stay, it felt like we were leaving friends. A big hats off to the GM Pedro, who took care of some minor issues in our room immediately and personally followed up with us. Senses is a small place with a lot of heart, the staff are kind- some even remarkable as mentioned above, I would definitely recommend you visit this oasis to experience both its simplicity and charm. I know I will be back as soon as possible!

The pool area was nice. The rooms were big. The staff was excellent.
The Snack food area was great! they need better food choices at the main restaurant since it’s only ONE restaurant. Also, they need more cabanas. It was a fight to get a poolside cabana every day.

The room very big like a honeymoon suite, it's facing the ocean & has jacuzzi.
They have only 1 restaurant offer repeated limit choices of food, there are no AC all over the hotel including the restaurant & the reception so outside your room it's hot , They don't provide food or drinks after 10 pm, they don't offer any activities, No private beach the swimming pool facing the ocean but no access to the ocean.

Nothing
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - DON'T FALL IN THE TRAP
1) rooms smelling moldy
2) same food & drinks every single day
3) place falling apart (literally)
4) NO ACCESS TO THE BEACH - advertised as a beach hotel but in order to actually go into the beach you need to rent a space on the next door hotel!!
5) the afternoon receptionist was always missing, no way to contact her to get basic stuff (towels, water, etc)
6) very expensive for zero quality, they should be rated as a cheap hostel!!
Last but not least, they double charged my credit card. I have been trying to solve it for over a week! Not what I wanted for vacations at all!!

Ignacio was very friendly, as were all the waitstaff.
The bed was comfy, and shower pressure was good.
Relaxing at the pool was nice, and the view was excellent.
Restaurant servers were all really good and super attentive. Music was appropriate and view amazing.
Hibiscus and tamarind margaritas were delicious.
Rooms were exactly like the picture, and very clean, smelled fresh.
Food arrived cold at the pool, and pool servers were more about chatting with other staff than taking orders.Staff playing the same 80s rock on repeat at the pool was annoying, and the music really wasn't suitable. Most drinks were sickeningly sweet because they were all premixes, some drinks watered down.
Kept Whatsapping the front desk, and they deleted the conversations rather than replying.
Mini bar not stocked well, a few beer and pop and water.
Hotel was no where near Puerto Morelos.

Loved how spacious the room was and how comfy the bed was.
The food options were very limited, even was told by staff they ran out of some things that were offered on menu. Also at night room became very muggy and dry like air was turned off.

It was a small resort so the staff was very attentive to our needs. The pools and hot tubs were never crowded so it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
There were some minor issues with the room but the staff was helpful in resolving the issues. Since it's a small hotel the food options were limited and there weren't many options for activities.

Met wonderful people, made new friends, staff& taxis were very informative & helpful. Nacho our concierge was incredible. Our room was amazingly "high-end" in decor and comfort and balcony view.
Breakfast had a wonderful selection!
The lounge beds could use an end table on both sides to hold drinks & snacks; There could be more drawer space in the closet area. Every other day there should be rotation of the dinner menu so no one has to choose from the same foods day after day.

The property is beautiful. The location is definitely relaxing. The staff is A1, best resort staff out there. They are really top notch. Breakfast and Lunch FIRE! and they have HOOKAH!
The shower in the morning isn't hot. The sink leaked making the counters wet. The hot tubs aren't clean nor is it really hot. My spouse and I did get stares & head shakes from patrons of the hotel but for the most part it was just that one couple.

Absolutely everything. Staff were amazing, courteous, professional, and hard-working. The room was beautiful and clean. The area was super quiet. All we heard were the waves on the beach. The beachfront view from our balcony was priceless. The hotel is nestled away from all the busy tourist areas. Tourist attractions are only a taxi call away, and the hotel staff even do that for you.
I can't say there was something that I didn't like. I know some reviews on this place weren't good, and for the life of me, dont understand people.

The staff was great! very helpful. I enjoyed it being “Only Adults” because we really had a lot of freedom to do as we please. The pool was great and had an amazing view.
Even though the food was okay, I wish there was more restaurants. Out pool on the balcony didn’t work and neither did the jacuzzi in our room. The resort is a little ran down. It’s pretty secluded, we had asked if there was anywhere that delivered there because the restaurant closes at 10, and they told us no. Also they monitor your towels and bed linen, so if you leave a stain on it, they will try and charge $50 USD

Meals were done very well and the restaurant staff were quite good and had basic knowledge of English. The staff at poolside were very good and attended to our every need! Lovely view from room.
Room was not cleaned properly while we were there. Floor was not swept or vacuumed. Often taps and mirror in bathroom left with splatters on them. Bathroom wall across from toilet had some sort of brown splash spots on it and no attempt was made to clean or repair it. No dishes of any sort in room. We could not heat up water for a cup of tea in the evening and cutlery was not allowed. Patio doors to deck were broken and could not be locked or closed properly. We asked for hangers on 3 different occasions but never enough hangers to hang our clothes. Menu wasn't extensive. We took shuttle to Playa del Carmen and were very disappointed at having to stop at jewelry store and souvenir shop and it took far too long at those places.

Facilities and nacho/Ignacio
Front staff double charging and looking to make quick cash. Wouldn't stay again because of this.

The pool was really nice and next to the ocean.
The room was very big and exacly like the pictures!
The staff was amazing!
The door to the balcony in the bedroom didn't close properly and you could hear all night the sound of wind passing through it. Also, the room had a little smell of mold.
The food in the restaurant was not very good and flavoured.
We wished the bar in the pool would be open for more hours.
