It has very large rooms and an incredible porche where you can dine and have breakfast, both really good.

This is a real gem of a place in the northern part of Iceland! Beautifully taken care of and run by the owners with a lot of engagement and heart!
the rooms are excellent with a great view overlooking the landscape. The breakfast has everything you can wish for and is freshly made in a dedicated area with views also overlooking the area. It’s a real hideaway if you like some peace and quiet but also want to be close to main attractions in the North.
As a single traveler I felt so warmly welcome that I really didn’t want to leave.

Hotel Raudaskrida was one of the best hotels during our time in Iceland. The rooms were nice and big, quiet, comfortable and had a beautiful view over the landscape. The hosts were always very friendly, accommodating and helpful and the breakfast buffet was the BEST that we had in Iceland. Everything was lovingly prepared, homemade rolls / cakes, and even food intolerances were taken care of in the best possible way. Dinner in the restaurant was also very delicious. Thank you for two great days in your hotel. We would definitely come again and would recommend the hotel to anyone without a doubt.

Very nice place, very friendly owner and helpful staff. The room was a comfortable small bungalow with 4 beds and space left. The hot tubs were readily available, and the restaurant quite good. Would love to return.

Comfortable hotel located in beautiful bucolic settings. Located centrally for easy access to a large number of sights in the area. It was a bonus to have the attached restaurant. Dinner and breakfast menus were excellent. The staff was gracious and extremely helpful. They helped make arrangements for local trips. Overall, a superb hotel.

Outstanding facility, wonderful staff as well as excellent food at the restaurants - both breakfast and dinner. Best panne chocolate outside of France! It was great to have a house wine option that you could purchase in 250 or 500cl quantities - and other the house white and red were solid wines. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Although quite rural, the location was very centrally located to the “diamond circle” and easy to find. We used it as our base for the North. The staff was great about warning us when large tour groups would descend on breakfast or dinner. Good to make reservations for dinner to be safe.
Nothing really. Easy to work around tour groups to avoid crowds.

Beautiful restaurant
The food in the restaurant has lots of room for improvement. I ordered cod. It's the worst quality seafood I had in the whole Iceland trip.
