Fabulous location and great garden. We enjoyed an early morning hot tub whilst admiring the view.

Good size bedroom and large communal area with comfortable seating and plenary of games to play. 2 hot tubs were available but didn’t use due to time pressures. Fantastic breakfast!
The only minor point was lack of Wi-Fi; was available but didn’t connect to internet.

Beautiful and spacious accommodation. Access to a kitchen and dining room, living room area. Lovely outdoor setting with seating, gardens, BBQ, hot tubs and panoramic views. Very quiet and peaceful setting only 3 minutes drive into Kaikoura. Thoroughly recommend.

It was located about 5 minutes away from town which is not far away at all and the view was amazing!
The room we stated was facing mountain and you can just see the great veiw from your room.
It was just me and my partner and the room was big, had everything we need.
It's winter time and I guess everyone was waiting to go into the spa at night so we had to wait for the private spa to be empty but it was worth the wait.
If I visit Kaikoura again I'd love to come stay here again.

Wow, what a 10/10. Just stunning location, friendly staff, welcoming pets, comfortable rooms and a beautiful spread for breakfast. No faults, wish we stayed longer than 1 night. Thanks Jen for such a wonderful experience at your property.
Nothing, everything was perfect!

Great self service continental breakfast provided.
Pleasant sunny room with nice outlook.
Hot spa under the stars
The temperature of the spa was lovely but it would benefit from a secure step up and the option of better lighting to get in and out. It is currently unsafe for an older traveler. Fortunately I had.my granddaughter to help me but she had to hold the torch in one hand on her.mobile to guide me while physically helping me in and out. A step would be so much easier and safer.

a spontaneous stay in Kaikoura turned into a warm, inviting, welcoming stay at this gorgeous home stay. private, clean, comfortable - Jen had created a wonderful experience. gorgeous gardens and yes, we saw snow capped mountains from our lovingly laid breakfast table in the morning. bed sooo comfy, clean and warm. my favourite place to stay on South Isle so far. Great quality and true value for money.
nothing here to dislike.

Lovely location and friendly staff .
Light from hall came through under the door and around the door frame which affected my sleep .
Ventilation system was noisey at night which also impacted on my sleep .

It was easy to reach, a beautiful, quiet location. The room was great. Didn't have time to use the hottub. That would have been lovely too.

Fresh flowers in the rooms was a lovely, homely touch
The spa was a nice hot temperature
The breakfast table was bursting with choice for my freshly baked bread for toast! (even had lemon curd!)
The two dogs were super cool and we really enjoyed their company
We heard tui singing in the morning - a real treat for someone from Chch!
Owner couldn't have been more helpful
Not that we didn't like as such - the main bedroom with the kitchenette in it - potentially not necessary as there is full facilities for coffee, tea etc in the dining room, which is just down the hall

Lovely place with an amazing view on the mountains. Jen is a very nice host, the room was perfect and also the breakfast.
We enjoyed the hot tubes at the end of the day, it was peacefull and relaxing. We recommend at 100% !

The hot tubs are great. There is a private hot tub that can be used by one room at a time or a shared hot tub that anyone can join. Perfect for stargazing, as there are only dim lights to show the way to the hot tub. Hot tub area itself is relatively dark, so star gazing is no problem at all.
