Excellent location with easy access to ski lifts, well-equipped apartment, helpful and communicative host, comfortable beds, close to amenities and restaurants. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay.
5.0 / 5.0
We had a great stay. The property host was helpful and cooperative with our needs and very quick with communications.
The property was more than adequate for four friends with plenty of space for two other friends or 4 other people if two couples were sharing beds.
Very clean and well equipped. The best thing was the location. Close to indoor carpark and less than a minute walk to nearest chairlift which takes you a good way up slopes for a first run or access to further lifts and access to pretty much anywhere. The apartment is a short run back from the party at la folie douce which is handy if you stop there for some apres ski food and drink on your way back.
Highly recommend this property as it’s excellent value for a spacious apartment in a great location.

We were a group of 5 friends, arriving at the end of January 2024.
The apartment is basic but very clean. It is ideally suited to 4 persons, 5 at a squeeze.
The location is excellent and can’t be faulted.
Our only criticism would be the checkin time. We felt 5pm was a little late.
Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend.

Very pleasant communication with Sharon!

This apartment is perfectly located, being at the bottom of the Charmettoger ski lift and piste. It was very well equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. It was a short walk from the centre of 1800 and its bars, restaurants and shops. Great pizza place and small deli/shop just underneath the apartment, as well as two ski hire shops. Sharon was very helpful and communicative in the run up and during our holiday. Would highly recommend!

A fabulous, well-placed apartment
We stayed in Sharon’s apartment for one week during February half term. The chairlift, literally right outside the apartment exit, was a lifesaver during this extremely busy week. The photos don’t really convey just how close the lift is! Fantastic with a six year old - in fact, fantastic for everyone. The apartment is extremely well-equipped and the table easily seated eight of us. The beds were comfy with lovely pillows and duvets and individual reading lights above each bed - an extremely useful and much appreciated detail. This is an very, very well thought out apartment which maximises a smallish space. Fantastic value for money - thank you from all of us for a wonderful week.

Ski in, ski out
A well appointed, perfectly placed apartment, right next to a chairlift, opposite an undercover car park and only a short walk to bars and restaurants. Excellent communication with the owner. Highly recommended.

Lovely appartment, great location, really helpful and freindly host
Sharon's appartment is a good size and only 3 doors down from the door to our favourite ski lift making it so convenient for getting out onto the snow and also allowing lunch back in the appartment when the weather isn't so great. Sharon was really helpful, with all her pre information, making getting to Arc 1800 and buying the best ski passes so easy, then being on hand if we had any problems. We love Arc 1800, with all it's great resteraunts and fantastic pistes, we'll definitely be back again next year.

Traditional Les Arcs appartment. Very well located for skiers. Well worth the money. The owner is nice and available.
Many thanks for the stay.

Fab apartment with ski in and ski out facility 20 feet from your door!
Stayed here with our family of five for a week. Fantastic experience, the apartment has everything you need inside, and couldn’t be any closer to the slopes. Right next to chair lift and possible to ski back at the end of the day. 2 minutes walk to town centre with ski hire shops and great little supermarket downstairs serving fresh breads, rotisserie chickens and pizza. What made it even easier was the owner, Sharons great communication throughout and flexibility when we were delayed by hours on the inward journey. She also gave us great tips and advice for our stay in the resort. Would highly recommend and hope to be back again.

The property is ideal for a ski-in/ski-out stay!
We had a great time in Les Arcs. Sharon was very welcoming on arrival and was on hand if ever we needed her. The property is located within walking distance of Villards which has most of the bars/restaurants in Arcs 1800. The fact we could reach the first lift of the day within about 10 yards of the front door was awesome! The property has everything we needed for and was more roomy than we expected with 6 people in it. Would definitely stay here again!

Well equipped flat, with clean and comfy beddings
Nice flat, well catered for 6 (maybe 8) with plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery etc. The table once extended will sit 6 or 8 people, but no space left around it.
As suggested, a plus would be to have some board games. We also enjoyed the raclette set.

Great place
We enjoyed our time at Sharon's place very much. She was a great host and the apartment was very well equipped and located, the entrance to the floor of the flat literally a few paces from the chairlift. Sleeping arrangements were good for the five of us, including three teenagers, but I wouldn't have wanted more than that number. Thanks Sharon

Amazing location and perfect apartment
We absolutely loved our week here, Sharon was a fantastic host and met us at the apartment upon arrival. When we arrived we were amazed by how the chair lift is literally on the doorstep. We dumped our bags and went skiing for the afternoon, it was just perfect. Despite a day or two of bad weather and no skiing, we managed to spend some time in the apartment and there was plenty of space for all 6 of us to chill out. The apartment is not far from the central area and a short walk down the hill to the shops and restaurants. We ate dinner in a few nights and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking. The table in the living room was also big enough for us all to sit round and socialise. I don't think we could have found somewhere with a better location for our needs. Thanks for having us!

Les Arc 2017
This was our third time at this appartment which speaks for itself. It is approx 15 paces from the chair lift and also convenient for the village . (10 mins walk). The property is clean and well maintained. The owner couldn't be more helpful. We needed to be in the appartment early and leave late and this was arranged by her. We hope to return next year.

Perfect location
It`s a typical ski resort apartment in a typical ski resort building.
The good parts are it`s location. Ski lift that takes you to the middle station is literally at your doorstep. Never had any queues, even if the resort was very busy during our visit.Just a few minutes walk to shops and resturants. Ski rent and a pizza/bakery/grocery shop in the building. You can get freshly baked bread/croissants in the morning in 3 minutes!
The apartment has 2 floors. Bedrooms and full bathroom upstairs.Livingroom, kitchen and a toilette downstairs. This means it is ideal for a family with 2-3 children,as you can throw the children and all your gear upstairs and have downstairs clutter free.
Good beds with proper duveds (not just sheets) and kitchen fully equipped with everything you need on a holiday.
Plenty of storage place for your skis, boots and equipment.
The owners are very nice people. Booking,check-in/out and return of deposit were problem free. They have stayed in Arc 1800 for years,so they have an excellent knowledge of the resort
It is actually quite reasonable priced for a true ski out/in apartment that can sleep many people, at this location. It can sleep 8 people, but 4-5 is ideal.
I have no hesitations of recommending this apartment to others.
If I go to LesArc again,i will try to book it once more, and that should tell it all!
Good luck with future rentals Sharon! It was very nice to get to know you and Jerry,we truly enjoyed your hospitality!
Best regards
Geir

Great apartment
The apartment was brilliantly well appointed and equipped. So warm and clean. The layout was so well planned, there was room for all the ski gear and places to dry socks, boots ect. There was easily enough room for 6 adults to chill out in the evening and a lovely dinner table. We all had the best time and will hopefully return one day.

Great apartment in Summer and Winter
This was our first trip to the Alps in the summer months and this apartment in Les Arcs is superb, easily accommodating the 5 of us with space for sleeping another 3 people, although seating around the dining table would be a squeeze with 8; there was ample storage space. In the summer you can park right outside. If you park lower down there are two lifts to all floors. Although this is approx. a 10 minute walk into the town this was not a problem, the town has a number of bars, restaurants and shops open in the summer. There is a deli and pizza shop serving the loveliest croissants each morning. The view of the mountains from the balconies are beautiful and there are two benches and a table on the balcony for enjoying the evening sun and views. There is a free shuttle bus stop opposite to take you to Arc 1600 (Funicular for Bourg), 1950 and 2000 so no need for a car if not driving. During the summer there were two lifts which take you to the mountains for breath-taking views and many walks. 1800 has a host of activities during the summer, a lovely swimming pool and wellness centre only a short walk away. Some lovely lakes are just a short drive away. Having visited all of the Les Arc resorts, 1800 had the most things to do and most shops, restaurants and bars.
The apartment had everything we needed (apart from a measuring jug which after mentioning to Sharon, the owner, she has now purchased which was an excellent response). We ate in several nights and dishes were available of all sizes for cooking. Sharon was very helpful during the booking process, always available if we had questions, and was there on arrival to show us everything which was reassuring. Sharon promptly responded after we had left confirming the return of the deposit and rectified the lack of a jug very quickly. The downstairs toilet was a useful 2nd in the apartment and there was always a good supply of hot water throughout the day. When cooking the provision of a dishwasher (and dishwasher tablets) was very useful and also supplied were bin bags, washing up liquid etc .
We will certainly be back again in the Summer and have already booked with Sharon and here again for December where we will enjoy the brilliant benefit of ski in and ski out only 10 meters from the apartment door – no walking far in boots carrying skis. We are looking forward to our next stay here.

Perfect Location - no carrying of ski's!
We had a very comfortable stay at Sharon's apartment. All as described with the location to the Charmetogger Lift being the biggest asset of the holiday. A few lazy steps out in the morning and you're there. Fab little ski run back at the end of the day too with plenty of little off piste jumps to play around on (in the woods too!). Then drop off your ski gear and either pop into town (5 - 10 min walk) to enjoy some Apres Ski in the sunshine around Benji's or chill in the sunny apartment. L'Arpette bar on said run provided entertainment for our daughters at the end of the day! We were blessed with gorgeous weather most days - which made a great week of skiing with plenty of touring across to La Plagne and a great variety of runs in Les Arcs all so accessible from here.Bit more snow now in order - would be perfect for the late season. The apartment had all we needed (we didn't cook in too much - as ate lunch in the mountains and generally snacked in eve or headed out a couple of times in Charvet and Villiards for fab Savoyarde style dinners. La Cabane des Neiges was lovely and needed booking ahead. The apartment is very light and you can see the morning sun shine across the valley then onto the Charmetogger lift - letting you know it's time to get ready! Lift opens at 9/9.15. The beds were comfy enough and we found the apartment perfect for 4 - especially in the evenings. As said 6 would be ok too, but 8 very cosy. If room another relaxing chair or if sofa bed had ends/arms would be perfect!
Sharon was there to meet us and told us all we needed to know. Her communication and help before our visit was excellent and we arrived ready with Ski Passes, ski hire booked etc so as soon as we arrived we only had to collect skis. (We used Skiset at Agrille Grive 2 - think we were unlucky with the service as we had trouble trying to communicate an issue with the lack of inner soles in a set of ski boots. The ski gear was ok - can always be better - but guess buying your own does that. Location for collection and return ideal. Might try the one underneath Grive 3 if visiting again). Sharons discount membership was a good saving too.
We ordered ski passes before leaving UK - which can be posted if ordered 2 weeks before or collect at Bourg St. Maurice funicular station to get free trip up the mountain. Where possible use Sharon's discount cards/info - family/student pass discounts to save where you can. I could go on!
We'll be back and will recommend. Thanks Sharon.

Great ski apartment. Just as described.
Great appartment ,just as described approximately 10 paces from ski lift. Owner very helpful. This was our 2nd time in this appartment and we hope to go back next year. Plenty of room for 4, OK with six but would be a squeeze with 8.

Location, Location, Location!
Brilliant apartment, conveniently located and well priced. The owner was extremely helpful (even when our car battery died in the car park) and friendly. I have stayed in many ski apartment in my lifetime, and this on was on par with my expectation (and the description). A lot of kitchen utensils/equipment, and decent mattresses. This type of apartments will never be 5 star quality, but this one served the main purpose: skiing! The ski lift is literally on your doorstep! We hired our ski gear downstairs at the Skiset shop, and we parked the car opposite (Charmettoger). I would recommend this apartment to anyone (we were 4 adults so we had plenty of space, 6 would still be suitable for family/close friends, but it would be cramped for 8).
Great little apartment, great owner, great location - 5 stars in my book!

A fantastic week in the mountains
Our holiday in Les Arcs was thoroughly enjoyed by my wife, my brother, my two children and I. The apartment was exceedingly well located close to the lifts in Les Arcs. The owner, Sharon, was a wonderful host. All of my dealings with her before our arrival, during our stay, and after our departure were a credit to OwnersDirect. I can certainly recommend renting her property.

"Perfecto"
This is the 1st review I have ever written - had to share this gem of an apartment. Our family have been to Les Arcs 5 times now and this is the best place we have stayed in. There is nothing the owner hasn't thought of. Sharon is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. A pleasure to deal with, information of the pistes, area and restaurants. Ski in ski out literally out of your apartment and you are on the slopes. Beds really comfortable - Sharon obviously hasn't brought cheap mattresses. Would not hesitate in returning, have already recommended to a friend. Would recommend taking own linen which we did for the 1st time this year lovely to get into bed with M & S linen smelling of your own washing powder. Thanks Sharon we have a fabulous week. See you again next year. Regards Rob, Nicky and Josh.

This apartment is definitely ski-in, ski-out. The nearest lift is about 20m from the door! It isn't the quickest lift in the resort but change straight to the bubble and you're at one of the highest spots for some great skiing.
The apartment itself is perfect for 5 or 6 so you can leave the sofabed in the lounge down for a great chill area.
My biggest recommendation is to follow Sharon's advice and go to Louigi's in Arc 1950 on a Monday night, where there is a good live band. The morning bakery is built into the apartment blocks (also does pizza) and the main village is 10/15 mins walk.
Book ski hire online for 40%+ discount too.
We'll hopefully be back next year!

I echo all the previous reviews in that the location of the apartment could not be better. With essential amenities on your doorstep and the village 'center' a couple of hundred yards away and best of all the Charmettoger lift. Even in probably the busiest week of the year, never a queue at the lift.
Went with my children (25-32) and their friends, cosy but very comfortable, had the best week's skiing!

I booked this apartment in the "older" Arc 1800 village, partly due to what I felt was a reasonable price for a UK school holiday period, and partly because I thought the modern Arc 1950/2000 villages would be busier & noisier. I'm 60, but with a teenage daughter who's not yet interested in night-life/après-ski life, and more into books than x-boxes! It was very quiet, no evening noise at all.
The location is excellent....you can see the chairlift's base station from the apartment block door....it's 10 metres from door to chair, so on doubtful weather days, you can wait until it starts up before leaving. There was never a queue, so it's simply clothes on, boots on, out the door, skis on, on the chair & away....and as mentioned in other reviews, this lift lets you bypass some lengthier queues & gives you a choice of big lifts to ski down to, to start your day. There is a decent red/blue area just above the apartment block, so beginners are well catered for locally.
On two of the days, the weather wasn't great, and the upper lifts closed early, leaving hundreds of Arc 1950/2000 residents with a very long queue for buses back up to their apartments. The apartment door is fairly close to the exit door, so it's perfect for a "quick start" or an exhausted return! With a ski pass office a few yards away, along with a ski hire shop (we took our own skis), and a nice wee baker/grocer shop with freshly-baked parisienne baguettes, or pizzas in the evening, you could survive without even a supermarket or restaurant outing.
The apartment's facilities are fine for a week, it's comfortable, warm, well equipped, and certainly ideal for a small family or group....my only experience of apartments in France, so I can't compare. The flat-screen TV in the lounge shows only French freeview channels, so I took along our 12 yr old portable DVD player, which promptly died the first day, so if TV/films are important for you (eg to entertain kids), taking some portable media player may be a good idea.
We didn't visit any of the Arc 1800 restaurants, but did visit the superb Café du Chocolat!....more than once!! Fantastic hot chocolates & cakes, and plenty of "take-away" goodies :0)
We used the excellent "Cool Bus" private hire from/to Geneva airport, quite expensive for 2 people, but the same price if there are 6 of you, very flexible & helpful drivers....took us via a wee supermarket on the way, for essentials for the first day.

We had a fantastic week in your apartment. It contained everything we needed. We really appreciated that there were some basics such as dishwasher tablets, filter papers for the coffee machine etc supplied. The proximity to the lift could not have been better - so nice not to have to walk very far in boots or carry skis! I also enjoyed a soak in the bath at the end of the day. Above all, it was great that you were local which had the unanticipated benefit of your help and expertise when we lost a camera. Many thanks!

This apartment is truly ski-in ski-out. It's at the edge of the apartment block so only 10 metres to the piste and another 10 metres to a quiet lift that connects your easily into a fast lift to the top of the mountain. For its position alone it's worth renting this apartment!
The apartment itself is clean, warm and well equipped. We are a family of five and had plenty of room. It also has a lovely balcony that catches lots of sun. The apartment is in a quiet block and is close to the ski schools, hire shop and also has a small supermarket nearby that also makes really great pizzas! If you're driving there's covered parking just opposite the apartment block.
The owner, Sharon, could not be more helpful, has loads of local knowledge and can also help you get good deals locally on ski gear if you need it. She was even around to give us a hand with our gear when we arrived.
We would thoroughly recommend the apartment and have re-booked for 2014.

The appartment is attractively furnished, there is a main bedroom which can be separated from the rest of the sleeping spaces and all was well stocked, perfectly clean and functional. You can leave the car and never need it again 'till you go home, all the slopes, shops , bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. We'd definately go back

This apartment was a perfect place for our two families to have their first week of skiing together - for the adults a long-awaited chance to get back on the slopes and for the children (aged 5, 6, 7 and 8) a first try on skis. Everyone loved it.
Les Arcs is a superb resort for families because there is so much interesting ground to cover both up high and down in the trees (before you even think about the La Plagne link) but also lots of easy runs for beginners - the kids were all skiing back to the apartment by the end of the second day.
The apartment couldn't be better situated - the Charmettoger lift is almost always quiet and gives easy access into all parts of the resort, bypassing any queues that build up sometimes in the main part of 1850. 3 steps and 10 paces walk from apartment door to lift/piste is my idea of ski in / ski out and meant we saved loads of money by having a relaxed lunch in the apartment after morning ski school. The tree skiing above the apartment and all the way across from 1600 to Vallandry is especially superb.
The apartment was also very comfortable - cosy but with more than enough space to accommodate us and all our stuff for the week (having driven we had plenty, including a lot of food).
Sharon was extremely helpful and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed and advising on ski school etc.
Can't wait to return!

Great location for real 'ski in - ski out' experience. Beautiful piste skiing through the trees even though it was April, although runs down from Col de la Chal a bit boring after halfway. Apartment quite spacious by French standards, but Arcs 1800 beginning to show it's age and commercial area at Villards looking scruffy. Sharon was very helpful in getting us settled in, so everything went smoothly and I would definitely recommend to others.

Excellent description , Sharon was very organised with arrangements, it was clean and everything worked well. The apartment was perfect for 4 adults but you could fit more in.
Great location for mountain biking and walking. Supermarket and bread shop near by with plenty of places to eat out .
I would thoroughly recommend this property. Good value too.
