Good breakfast lovely staff. Good recommendations the red lion food was excellent.

Brilliant location, short walk to the beach, excellent car park and were happy for you to park there if arrive early or want to leave later. Super clean, shower best I’ve had for ages. Just loved the idea of cake and sherry every day at 3pm. Lovely and quiet.
I found the bed and pillows just a little bit too firm, but that could just be me.

Great location
Loved meeting everyone at the free sherry and cake afternoons
Very clean
Lovely staff
No evening meals available
No disabled parking - very hard to use a pushchair on the gravel car park

code was incorrect

location excellent
access from bar to garden was a long walk, if door from breakfast area was opened it would encourage more people to use the excellent garden

It felt special, friendly staff, good food, nice room, good bar with free cake and sherry in the afternoon. A lovely stay which we hope to repeat.
Not a criticism but would have liked a wall handle to make me feel safer in the shower. We are used to a King size bed so initially the bed felt small but it was comfortable and we got used to it. Text on TV took a while to work out how to remove it.

Really great place to stay.
Everything is really nice and there was even complimentary sherry and cake.
Really close to the town, which is a fairly level 5 minute walk away.
Very helpful staff. Nothing was a problem.
So little, that it's not worth mentioning.

Received a warm welcome. The room was clean and tidy. Excellent location for the town, just a few minutes walk. Upon check in we were given a good overview of the town, where was best to eat and recommendations of places to visit. Breakfast was lovely and loved the little touch of afternoon sherry and cake.

Lovely quiet location yet only a few minutes walk from beach and amenities.

Location
Poor water pressure so luxury bathtub slightly redundant

Service very good as was the breakfast.
No evening meals or bar open till evening .Over priced rooms for the type of Hotel it is now .

Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice. Friendly and helpful staff serving.
The shower in our ground floor room was very good. Good parking facilities.
We would have liked a second easy chair in our bedroom but the huge bed which was two single beds pushed together meant there was only room for one easy chair for two guests.

Bathroom was a good size, decorated quite nicely and hospitality tray well stocked.
Booked a suite but it turned out to be a king size bed with en-suite bathroom and sofa, the bed was very hard and pillows were even harder, the bottom of the shower base was filthy and the plug didn’t seal the bath, tea drips down the side of the coffee tables and waste bin, towels not changed and toilet roll ran out we ended up buying more from town. If guests are expected to clean their own rooms then cleaning products should be provided, we purchased some from town. Staff were unbelievably rude to a couple who turned up and knocked the door not realising they had to use a key code at one point I thought the door was going to be shut in their face, We were so embarrassed for them. The whole experience was like being at Fawlty Towers, just so awful we couldn’t wait to leave. Paid £645 for a three night stay (we chose not to pay the additional £15 each for breakfast) for the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
