Location is perfect

The first room we were booked into, the shower head was broken. We were moved to a new room. This shower was fine, but the one shower door is missing, so when showering the bathroom was full of water. The people who occupied the room next to us, was noisy..

not fit for renting out to the tired and unsuspecting traveller, the problem is with Booking.com

abominable

There is no table, toilet door is too big for the frame so does not close, there is a hole where one normally finds the handle. The sink is blocked, the toilet seat is 2sizes smaller than the bowl, the shower floor is made of thin plastic with no support underneath, with the result that one loses balance upon entering. The wardrobe door is totally warped and remains stuck half open, inside there is nothing, no rail, no hangers. Most of the lights don't work. And so on and on, the room was obviously put together by unskilled labourers and is not fit for renting out. The location is not as shown, but in the very close to a truck stop, with heavy overland trucks coming and going day and night. breakfast bare minimum, 3 slices of toast for2, hot water plus tea bags and Nescoffe. Omelette made to order, no fruit juice, no yoghurt, no boiled eggs, no fruit, no cold meat, no cheese. The restaurant building is very appealing, however our medium rare rump steaks were served cooked to an extent where they were too hard to chew, we called the chef and were told they are very sorry and apologized, but the "chef" was new and still learning. No price reduction offered. All in all a place to avoid at all cost! As I have commented to you before--- for the commission your company takes, we travellers expect at the very least that you inspect the properties before you accept them on your website, the cost of not doing so falls to us and cannot be made good by your Genius incentives.

Relaxing & Peaceful.

Location is very convenient, easily access to all the locals bars and places to visit. It's very relaxing and a feel as if you are on a farm in the middle of nowhere.

1. Just please give some attention to the ceiling in the bathroom and we will give you 100%. Paint the bathroom ceiling with Velvaglo to ensure moisture and mould resistance. 2. Perhaps some two chairs and a small table in front of the rooms would be nice. 3. Maybe a reed wall between the rooms for a bit of privacy between rooms.

Short notice stay.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The aircon worked and the TV had the channels I needed, so overall a very nice stay. They helped us, even though we booked after hours and arrived just a few minutes after booking.

The rooms were very clean, but there need to be a bit more maintenance done in the bathroom, the taps were a bit loose. Nothing else

Tv is way to small. The mattress was worn and uncomfortable. Aircon is in the toilet. Who puts the aircon in the toilet? Toilet door didn't close. The basin had an electrical current going through it, evertime I open the basin tap I would get a shock, even the water coming out was giving me an electrical shock. No fridge, no microwave.

Was okay, but wont go back until they do some maintenance on the place.

The staff was friendly and the food was good. I also liked that there was a play area for the kids while we eat.

The place is run down and needs a lot of maintenance. The shower head was cracked and sprayed out one gush of water in the middle, the toilet was broken and spare parts of the bathroom was laying everywhere.

Breakfast was excellent. The location is good where next to the N12 but still no noises. I can recommend this guest house to anybody looking for good accommodation.
