We have a really good time and everyone were really nice
We had a discussion and a rude actitud from one of the receptionist. Only this person, the rest were really nice, kind and polite.

The location is very good. Waterfront with short walk to shops.
Nothing.

Great location and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms
No problems really. Just simple and comfortable.

Good Location, very good value for money with the meals included

The staff were exceptional. A great location with views and plenty of space.

The location is great, you're right next to the seaside and can wake up to an ocean view. The breakfast is good with lots of choices and there's a winter garden outside with heating lamps so you can sit even closer to the sea.
The ventilation in the room wasn't too good, so you may have to open a window. The bathroom is good, but again the ventilation was poor, so you may have to leave the bathroom door open at times.

Arguing weather bill had been paid or not in morning when departing.

Location is great
Just stayed one night, not much to say

Plenty of variety in the breakfast and excellent freshly cooked/prepared food, very good breakfast!
Location is perfect, either right next to shops, bars, restaurants or just a short walk away from them. Also just 100 metres from the ferry to the islands.
Hairdryer and telephone in our room did not work.
There is nothing in the shower to stop the water from splashing out onto the bathroom floor.
The room was quite warm and it was difficult to control the heating mechanism to cool it down. We ended up switching it off.

Staff was very nice and kind. I was satisfied with their kindness.
It was a pity that room cleaning was not available every day. Also, it was a pity that there was no electric kettle in the room.

Location
The evening meals were pretty basic and poor. Bit like prison food I would guess.

The man at checking was outstanding. His name was Geier and he was a joy...so friendly and helpful and fun. He bought our bus tickets online when our cc wouldn't work and we paid him.
Breakfast & evening meal were great! Location and rooms were great!

Central location, clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast both good with a good spread. Secure parking at 200 NOK / day which we thought was good value - you need to reserve though. Our room was at the front with a great view, but a bit noisier but happy to put up with this gif the view and the cool breeze.

Breakfast was great and we appreciated the scenic dining area. We looked forward to having "Fika" in the afternoon. It is very convenient to have dinner included in our stay.
Dinner menus were a little uninspired.

Central location, clean, friendly staff and lots of choice for breakfast
Noisy at night from the street

Excellent procceco cocktail by friendly bartender/receptionist.

The location of the hotel was great.
The hotel in general is not really a 4* hotel.
When we arrived there was no parking available, even no place to stop for 10 minutes to unpack/pack your luggage. It was recommended to use the parking nearby, will cost you 20 Euro pro night.
The breakfast was ok.
The dinner was really poor. For your dinner we got a salat buffet and pasta with unfrozen meat balls and unfrozen boiled vegetables. It is all. No choice at all. No dessert at all. So do not expect to get the 4* dinner. We were really disappointed.

the hotel was just perfect for us. stayed three nights with my son to attend the Karmoy Viking festival. The hotel has character and there is a cinema theme in the decor, room names etc. our room was spotlessly clean and even though it overlooked the street it was quiet enough. Breakfast and evening meal were included in the room rate and that was very good with a selection of hot and cold food on the buffet. The location right on the quayside was great, yet central enough for everything, bus station etc. Staff really friendly and helpful with good English. Overall excellent.

great location, friendly staff
The 2nd floor room is almost at street level but has no net curtains so you have to close the full curtains even in the middle of the day. The internet connection was intermittent- at least in the bedroom - so used 4G. When we booked the only option was half board (DB&B) - this is a BAD IDEA. Dinner was a salad bar plus spaghetti with an unidentifiable (very grey) meat dish. Even the waitress admitted that she didn’t know what it was as she had not understood the cook’s explanation. We strongly recommend to go out for dinner if you stay here.

Location is great, near to shops, bus stops, ferry to Rovær. Quirky layout with all the rooms named after films etc. Soy milk and gluten-free products available at breakfast.
Noise from the nearby nightclub on a Friday night that went on till 3am! Up till then the hotel had been quiet but obviously not on weekends. View from my room was of a small alley. Weird layout for breakfast, only 1 container for sugar, 1 contaimer with teaspoons which had a different location every morning - just put out a few extra containers with teaspoons.

A little noisy at centain weekends nights

Good Fika, dinner, and breakfast. The hotel is in the middle of town and the room had a view on the harbour. Really great staff and a great sauna on the top floor.
