Great house on the lake. We arrived on a Thursday night. Rented a boat for all day on Friday and then Saturday Dogwood Canyon and afternoon spent on floaters and chairs in the lake.. Disappointed with WIFI connection. Would be nice if the couch was a fold out. We have adult children and not everyone could fit in the bunk beds. Bathrooms (shower floor and toilet) were not very clean Overall loved the house

The house was very nice and the location on the lake was just perfect. Great house for hanging out, barbecuing, enjoying the water. Beautiful and safe neighborhood….all the houses are gorgeous! Check in/out process was so easy. The only thing that was a downside is that it is a bit of a drive to any restaurants/bars by land. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to enjoy the lake and the outdoors.

We loved the Happy Hideaway- fit our two families comfortably. One coffee pot wasn’t working properly but there was a back up one so we used that. Everything was labeled and easy to get to in the kitchen. Plenty of pillows and blankets and towels for our stay. Everything was clean and ready to go for us when we got there. It was a little far from the strip if you’re looking for quick access, but the lake scenery was so worth it in my opinion. I would definitely stay at this property again!

We arrived at the property unloaded our things and wanted to start dinner. Started cutting our steaks and turned the faucet on to find no water!!!! I called the manager and they said the plumber was busy and would be the next day . Unacceptable with 10 people in a house with no water. Asked to be moved to another rental but was told didn’t have any available. Could have been avoided if someone had checked the rental before our arrival.

Branson Trip
We came to Branson for a softball tournament and had the best time. The house was phenomenal with beautiful views of the lake. The kids swam right behind the house. Make sure you have water shoes though. We will definitely stay here again if we come back. Thanks for sharing with us!

This was a great place to stay. The Lakeside Home was clean, felt like you were at home and had everything you needed and some. Got to love the basement bathroom and the heated floor. Got to love being on the lake and being able to take those walks in the morning or evening hours. The neighbors are very friendly and was a nice community to stay near. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to going again!

This home had the perfect layout and was large enough for our family Christmas. Waking up and having coffee on either of the patios, watching the sun rise over the lake was just wonderful! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay and it was a joy to cook in there. There were 2 living rooms with the only TVs in the home, allowing the children to have their own area to hang out. There was WiFi available, not the fastest but it did the job. You are in the country, with a paved winding road to travel. The trip to Branson was approx 20 min one way, though we spent lots of our time in the home so it wasn’t a problem for us. The beds weren’t too bad to sleep on and they had plenty of blankets to use. The house was almost perfectly clean, just a little dust and spider webs to be taken care of, downsides of country living. My largest complaint was the driveway, it’s so steep you’ll drive right past if you aren’t paying attention. You could fit 3 cars, with strategic planning of how to get back out! We made sure to back up to the house in order to drive forward up the drive. Otherwise, this house was perfect! We will definitely come back to stay again, hopefully to swim in the lake next time!

Home was amazing for our large group of family and friends. Very clean. Furniture was very large and very comfortable. My wife was in love with the kitchen, it was over the top. The yard was steep going down to the lake but it wasn't too bad, I wouldn't run but I didn't feel like I was going to slip and fall. The back patio decks were great. The outdoor furniture was in great shape and the fire pit was a nice feature. Driveway was very very steep but if you take it slow you can get just enough traction to drive out. Would definitely stay here again..

We all loved it.
The location was more remote than we thought it would be but we learned the area quickly and found a place to get groceries and water shoes. The house worked well for us with two teens who sometimes wanted to self isolate. All in all it was a fun area to explore and the house is on our list for a return trip.

Lake trip 2020
We had a wonderful time. Property was as explained in the listing, very clean, lake right in front. Does not have its own slip but we brought our kayaks and just pushed them in the water which worked out perfectly. Kids swam in the lake, has enough backyard space to play! You can see the sunrise and sunset from the deck. Very relaxing!
We also rented a Tritoon from the State Park Marina which is 25 minutes away from the property. Also, went hiking at the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area, good for all age groups, again 20 minutes away!
The only feedback that I gave to the property administration was that the internet wasn’t good. We couldn’t watch anything on TV so I suggest bring a few board games if you plan on just chilling inside.
All in all it was a memorable trip and will definitely rent this property again!

Beautiful home, well equipped and clean. Loved our stay, would suggest parents with small children to bring a baby gate as stair case to get to main level of home is very steep. Also high chair and pack and play are not available, plan to bring own. Downstairs full size bed mattress was very firm, did not sleep well on this. Would not stay again but only due to the lay out traveling with little ones. 30 min. Drive into Branson.

We loved this property! A beautiful, huge home that was just what we needed for our two young families. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook most meals here. The lake was close enough that we could fish or swim whenever we wanted. The decks were amazing for winding down at the end of the day.

We spent a great vacation in the Happy Hideaway! This is the first time my daughters and husband and boyfriend have vacationed together and it was awesome! We even brought along my mom! This house is the perfect size to give us all space! We played UNO on the upper deck each evening and went boating during the day! Happy Hideaway was a beautiful home. The home was sparkling cleaned and had beautiful amenities. The location was right on the water, not technically a beach but you could walk right into the water. It was also close to big cedar which was nice to go to restaurants and fun mountain. The home had everything you need and very accommodating to children. We will be back!
