Short stay
Lovely location good facilities. No real niggles except for bathroom show door had previously come off rails and a hefty draft in lounge area when watching tv. Nice apartment with great views.

Short stay in Plymouth
Location great .. good bus/water ferry service to central town area. Apartment was rather airless despite window wide open. Main problem was no noise insulation and could hear TV all hours of the night from next door ... need ear plugs. For the price the apartment needs a bit of an overhaul but overall good location overcame anything else .

A review of two halves
This is a review of two halves.
First. As a short break this flat is would be excellent enough equipment and comfort for anyone to be satisfied with. Hypnos bed, shower you can dance in and very good looking furniture. For those of you who need it good Wi-Fi and (Vodafone) phone signal. Great for two people but I could not recommend it for four occupants. Very good bus links and no great need to use the car. The RWY complex with it numerous eateries make dining out simple and all within walking distance we found the Wildwood restaurant great value for money as they were running a 2 courses for £10 offer al la carte was good as well.
Second. On a more personal level although my wife and I enjoyed our stay. We would not stay in this flat again unless there was only less attractive options left. We found the flat a triumph of form over function it looked great but things were awkward (for us) to use. We didn't like the "bed pod" this really is a studio flat and we don't like studio flats, but as we booked through Booking.com this was not made clear in their description. Plumlocations description makes this perfectly clear so check their website before booking. Not for us but I am sure other couples and single visitors would find the flat to be great place to stay when visiting Plymouth

Stunning Location
Found this apartment by accident! Wonderful location. Leave the car and enjoy delightful, stress free access to town centre by ferry. Good quality and varied choice of eating venues on site. Sadly, I have to leave it all behind . . . but I'll be back!

Beautiful location shame about the Accommadation!
The location is absolutely fantastic and we enjoyed the wonderful view from our window.
Unfortunately the property was NOT suitable for 4 adults and we felt that for the price we paid this was not fair. We had a double bed which was fine however the room was open to the rest of the room. The other sleeping arrangement was for 2 adults a male and a female who were NOT a couple who had to sleep on a small HARD sofa bed! When you book an apartment for 4 adults you really expect 2 seperate rooms and beds large enough to sleep adults in! We paid £600 for 2 nights so we feel very disappointed by this. The other 2 adults didn't get any sleep which ruined the wedding we were attending the following day! All in all we feel very let down because we were expecting so much more for £600 for 2 nights!!!!

A superb stay made even better by the really kind staff
I grew up in this area. I could not have imagined a better redevelopment than this. Very tasteful, yet welcoming, and for this homesick old lady, a real treat!
Suggestion to the Bakery franchise: get an up to date Nespresso Machine which patrons can use themselves: saves staff time and is better at producing good coffee:,plus a lighter hand in the baking department would produce better pastries.
But Drake's Wharf itself is perfect. Thank you! We will be back!

Small but generally well-eqipped.
Nice location and nice property, with lovely view.
In good condition apart from the dishwater, which leaked badly, and we had to switch it off to prevent a flood.
(We had specifically asked if the dishwasher worked, after having read previous reviews, and were told that it did work, before we used it.)
Also, only 2 drinking glasses (which were small) were provided.

Much improved
We stayed with Plumlocations two years ago and we found a lot of problems. These are now completely resolved. We had a great time in a comfortable apartment at a truly fantastic location. Plumlocations now have Phil to greet you and also provide the necessaries you need when you first arrive. Having Phil to help you is a huge plus.

Everything beyond expectations
WOW, what a lovely stay. The accomodation was first class, couldnt of asked for anything better. The view was just as lovely too over looking the water, and with the variety of places to eat right on the doorstep everything was just perfect.

Plymouth
Phil, the property manager, did an excellent job getting in touch and meeting me upon arrival. Also very attentive in regards to issues with flat and scheduling maintenance and weekly housekeeping. There were issues with the dishwasher missing pieces making it ineffective. Once fixed, the dishwasher then leaked- I opted to hand wash. The boiler had leaking problems as well. Location was great with a view of the water. Bed was comfortable and the building seemed very secure and safe. This was a business trip, so the time of the year was cold and rainy... I'm sure in the summer this a hot spot. If I found myself here again, I would certainly try and stay in the Royal William Yard area again.

Good location, interiors need an update.
Great location. Furnishing and inclusions need updating. The sofa was uncomfortable and the TV too small. Access is also a bit difficult. Overall great place to stay, would be excellent with some tweaks.

I have stayed her previously. Quiet location with good local restaurants. Good for 1 or 2 people for a short stay. Good wifi and comfortable bed. Would return.

A great (short) stay
The flat is in an amazing development and is finished to a very high spec. Phil the property manager was so accommodating and friendly. A great base from which to explore Royal William Yard and The Barbican.

Short stay in Plymouth
The apartment was comfortable. When we arrived several light bulbs had blown and it was 24hours before they were replaced. A number of good restaurants and bars in the Yard, but a 10 to 15 minute walk to town from the apartment. The apartment was quite noisy with other people coming and going the shared hallway spaces are not well sound proofed.

Short Stay
We needed a place to stay whilst visiting our son, was a lovely base to explore the area. Having restaurants right next door was great as its a bit of a hike back into the Barbican area
