In the area of Piazza della Signoria and Piazza Santa Croce. At the second and unique floor, in Via Vinegia n. 2, a small and very quiet road in a pedestrian area, this lovely and particular apartment has been completely restored and decorated with taste and care for any expectations you may have.
One the same floor we own and rent another unit, the Simona (ref 11170759)
The apartment is at a second floor (first floor in Italy), there is NO LIFT but only 14 steps up from the road.
High quality linens and towels, double pillows for each guests, duvets on the beds..
My sister and I take high pleasure to ensure our guests the best staying by taking care of you since your very first enquiry to your departure..

Both apartments (the Francesca and the Simona) belong to an ancient bulding dated back to the XV century and share a private entrance from the road, in front of the magnificent stonewall of the medieval S. Remigio Church, in one of the oldest and most famous area of Florence.
The apartments can be booked together and can accomodate up to 10 guests.
The location is so central that you can easily get back home any time of the day for a quick rest or a bite and go out again to visit this magnificent city.
With all kind of shops just around the corner (litterally!!) and Piazza della Signoria at 1 minute walk, these properties are really in the centre of the centre!
With some of the best restaurants, ice-cream, fresh pasta, street food an coffee bar just around the corner you'll be able to enjoy your staying with no efforts trying to find out where you can have the best ice-cream of Florence!!

And if you like to try the very best food you have a choice of restaurants and, most of all, you are at 10 min. walking from one of the oldest and most famous market in Florence, The Sant'Ambrogio market where you can buy the most exquisite traditional food.. and as far as ice-cream is concerned, Vivoli (the most famous one) is at 3 min walking

Simona was amazing, she treated us like family. She assisted us in getting to Florence during a train strike. Something we never could have done without Italian and not understanding the system. Her place was amazing, way beyond our expectations and perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and more, very well equipped. It was immaculately clean,I felt like i wss usung a brand new bathrooms, kitchen also immaculate and well air-conditioned in the heat. I woud definitely recommend for 2 coyples or a family

The location of this apartment is fantastic! It is right in the middle of things and a short walk from all the major tourist sites but is also quiet and tucked in a small side street. Simona was well organized and thorough and very easy to communicate with. The apartment is well stocked, comfortable and very chic. Every detail was considered including coffee, umbrellas to borrow, shampoo and even a treat and water bottle left for us to enjoy. We enjoyed this stay fully - would highly recommend

Perfect stay for 4 girlfriends all 55 plus.
Loved it and would most definitely recommend.
The only issue would be if someone has issues with stairs ( approximately 13)

Beautifully renovated apartment steps away from Piazza Della Signoria. The location is absolutely superb. Simone was also very accommodating and helpful. What a wonderful home away from home!

Simone was a wonderful host, the apartment was immaculate and the location was perfect. I would stay there anytime I visit Florence! The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were newly renovated and fresh. Overall, our stay was excellent.

This apartment checks all the boxes. Lovely decor, convenient to most of the major attractions, and comfortable. Simona made check in and check out very easy. She is very approachable and ready to help with any concerns. The apartment is big enough for four adults without any problems. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We were more pleased than we expected! Our host, Simona, offers a WELL furnished and comfortable stay for 4 adults for 10 nights. She provides a wealth of info for getting around Florence: where to get groceries (she provides a cart), helped us find parking and even arranged a cab to the airport at 4:30 AM! She was very easy to reach for questions.
Her apartment is very beautifully decorated, and the kitchen thoughtfully includes EVERYTHING, even to prepare a meal of fresh made pasta and wine from the little shop right around the corner! Our "welcome" of a small bottle of Prosecco and pastry treats was unexpected, but seems typical for her level of hospitality.
We had NO problems with the apartment. It is in a safe and secure area. Very close to countless eating and sightseeing venues. We highly recommend her apartments (she has 2 in this building, the Francesca and the Simona)

Simona was an absolutely amazing host. The check in process was seamless and the property was immaculate and well furnished. We had everything we needed. There was a notebook with lots of information about things to do, restaurants, where to shop/do laundry,etc.

Great location and walking distance to everything in the historical city centre and a short bus ride from the train station. Very clean apartment exactly as advertised. Very comfortable for a family of 4 with teens . Kitchen had enough to cook make coffee / tea otherwise a lot of eateries around the corner . It was a very easy stay thanks to Simona. We would definitely return if we return to Florence .

Book this Apartment, don't wait....This apartment is spotless, convenient to all the the Museums churches and sites. there are great sandwiches right around the corner and Simona gave us referrals for restaurants in the neighbor hood. She gave us instructions how everything works and I cannot say enough about this cozy apartment!
Also the beds were very comfortable and clean.

Simona’s place in the historic district could not be more perfectly situated for a visit to Florence. Within minutes you can walk to ALL the major sights. The neighborhood is charming, clean, safe and quiet even though it is around the corner from a very busy street with great cafes, restaurants and shops that is bustling until late at night. The apartment itself is clean, bright and airy, simply but tastefully furnished with comfortable beds, good water pressure and a well stocked kitchen. Wi-Fi was consistently reliable, washing machine modern and easy to use. Simona was a very responsive host and waited for us for several hours when we had issues getting there due to a railway problem. No down side here, we had a very pleasant stay!

Simona was excellent with communication before and during the stay. She gave detailed overview on check-in and in addition, she leaves lots of information including city maps and other details.
The location was excellent, 4 minutes from Uffizi and 10 from the Duomo. There was plenty around the apartment but it’s located one street back so it was nice and quiet. We only heard the distant church bells.
It was great having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was perfect for 4 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed and the unit has a clothes washing machine and a drying rack. She even provided Netflix and cable TV.
I would definitely recommend this unit and it would be my first choice if I came back to Firenze!

The flat is just perfect. Totally updated with kitchen and bathrooms but retaining fabulous old world charm. So fun to imagine the lives there in years gone by. The location is absolutely spot on with important sites all within walking distance.
Simona was an exceptional host in many ways. A very thorough greeting and introduction to the workings of the flat plus above and beyond helping us with transportation during a transportation strike. Very much appreciated her professionalism and compassion. Loved our stay!!

Our host Simona was fantastic, communication was great, quick response and helpful check in instructions including how to get to the apartment. The property is exactly as described, clean and very comfortable for our stay. Simona arranged a taxi for our departure, held our bags for us as our train departed in the late afternoon.
I would stay here again and definitely recommend this property to anyone else visiting Florence. Thank you Simona

Pristine and centrally located apartment with the most comfortable beds. Thank you to our host who was the most welcoming and helpful we’ve ever had. She made sure we had a bottle of cold water in the fridge upon our arrival during a heat wave and helped us secure a taxi to the train station when checking out. 5 Stars for excellent service, a luxurious stay and beautiful city!

This apartment was perfect for two couples traveling together. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and it was super clean. Both bedrooms have AC units which we used at night since it was so hot during our visit in July. The little extras like tea, coffee, desserts and nice soaps and shampoo makes it easy to feel like home. We appreciated the use of the new washing machine with detergent pods provided by the owner. The location is perfect and all the sights are easy to get to by foot. Because it’s down a quiet alley, you will get a good nights rest since it’s very quiet. Restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery store are right around the corner. Communication and check in were easy and efficient. I highly recommend booking this place!

We enjoyed 5 nights in Florence and found this apartment to be close to many things we wanted to see and do. Within 15 minutes, we could get almost anywhere on foot.
Simona is a wonderful host and the apartment has everything you need - clean, well appointed bedrooms, a nice family room and eating area, and a kitchen that offers all the necessary items. Simona met us at the home for check in and personally showed us all the features and explained the area. When we had a question, she answered texts promptly. She even helped us arrange a taxi to the train station on our day of departure. It was like staying at a friend’s home. Even the hair dryer is nice!
I’m glad I met this lovely woman and hope to someday repay the favor of she goes to Chicago.

Don’t sleep on this unit!!! This was a wonderful place to stay and we would easily come back here again. Well located to the train station, shopping, Duomo and more. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and the owners were exceptional to deal with.

How lucky for us (2 couples) to find this place. Right near everything but quiet location. Our host was so easy to communicate with and met us upon our arrival. The place was gorgeous inside and everything was updated. Our regret was that we didn't spend more time in Florence. This place was perfect for two adult couples. We greatly appreciated the restaurant recommendations!

Very well located, clean, well appointed and comfortable apartment minutes from Uffizi. Simona was very helpful and considerate in the entire process. Two of us had the Simone unit and three others in our party had the Francesca unit across the hall so it was ideal for a group of 5. Would recommend this property heartily.

We spent three nights in the Francesca unit and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Great location, immaculate apartment and Simona was a very gracious and responsive host. More than enough room for us and our two teenage sons. Would definitely recommend!

This apartment was perfect for our 4 day/3 night stay. Simona communicated well for our arrival and met us at the apartment and showed us around. It's a very clean, sunny well-equipped apartment. Great kitchen, we used the coffee maker, electric kettle and washing machine (petite in US standards) no dryer but a drying rack and towel warming racks in both bathrooms. Both bedrooms were conformable and cozy & having two bathrooms were great. You can walk to everything from this apartment. Very quiet neighborhood. Simona answered all our questions, where to eat, what to see and she even ordered us an early morning cab ride to the airport. Would stay here or her other apartment again!

Our 5 day stay in Francesca was memorable. The location was unbeatable since it was steps away from Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Piazza DeLa Signoria and Piazza Della Santa Croce, but distant enough that it is quiet from the maddening crowd. Simona was very pleasant, accommodating, helpful and responsive. She helped with restaurant reservations and parking garage communication. It made our stay in Florence flawless from the 1st day. Water and cookies were also a nice welcome treat.
The apartment was very clean! This made me even more comfortable since I am obsessive with cleanliness. Even the glasses were spotless and the pots/pans/utensils were shiny clean. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable. They had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. I have stayed in many VRBO all over Europe, this is the most pleasant stay we’ve had. This makes me want to go back to Florence soon and stay at Francesca again! Grazie Mille Francesca and Simona! We stayed for one week at Simona’s apartment and it was great in every way. We most appreciated the thoughtful details that made the apartment feel like home. Simona communicated with us before our arrival and welcomed us warmly upon our arrival.
The apartment is in an ideal location to easily walk to everything, yet it is situated in a quiet street which made it perfect. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, and includes everything one could possibly need.
Simona checked on us during our stay and organized a taxi for us twice.

Let me start by saying the apartment was immaculate. We loved that it had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and three beds, perfect for the three of us. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was perfect. Simone was easy to communicate with and a gracious host. Would stay there again without a moments hesitation.

This is the perfect apartment. The location is awesome. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The apartments is very nice. It was comfortable for the 4 of us. Simona is an excellent host. Communication with her was very easy both before and during our trip. We were able to store our luggage both before check in and after check out. I would definitely recommend this property and Simona as a host.

The apartment and our experience with Simona could not have been better, would give a 6 star review if possible! Half of our trip was spent with our college age children, apartment was perfectly comfortable for the four of us and of course conveniently located to everything. After the kids left and we spent a few days on our own it was the perfect size for just the two of us. This has been the best experience to date in all of our Vrbo travel. Cheers!
