Fan in upstairs bath did not work. Closet doors difficult, a/c was ok upstairs, ceiling fans helped. Living room furniture most uncomfortable no matter the size on the person. Deck railing fell apart in one section, a temporary fix was offered. Washing machine very noisy. King bed mattress should be replaced. Property managers responded quickly. For what you have to pay for rent we were disappointed location was great for us we are not complainers

We had a lovely stay on Shady Lane this past week in Eastham. The photos on the listing do not do the house justice. The kitchen is very large, there is deck furniture outside on the deck, the second family room has been changed into a cozy, two person space with a small fireplace and the outdoor shower has been updated.
The house is in an excellent location within Eastham and is only a 10 minutes walk from nearby Kingsbury Beach. I highly recommend this home for families to enjoy!

Had a wonderful time again this summer. Third year in a row we have stayed at 80 Shady Lane and everything as expected. House was clean and even had some new furnishings. Can't beat the location for beaches, the fresh water pond close by, and biking. Enjoyed our favorite restaurants, but did eat in more this year. We hope to stay again next year.

Nice private home with open first floor, large kitchen, big deck, and large back yard. We had just four of us staying in the house but hosted family gatherings of 20 plus people easily with all the space. Easy walk or drive to Kingsbury beach and to the pond. I also jogged on the bike trail which is one mile from the house. Couple minutes from National Seashore visitor center and Coastguard Beach. Easy drive to nearby towns for shopping and restaurants.

Reviewer Comments:
it was the perfect house for a small family plus grandparents. Great yard and deck and we appreciated the toys and books. Excellent location. We have a few small suggestions: get some mixing bowls and measuring spoons. If you say there is a beach umbrella for tenant use, there needs to be one. We didn't bring ours and then needed to buy one. Overall it worked out exceedingly well and we'd stay there again and recommend it for families.

My daughters and I spent a lovely week in Eastham this August. This was a revisit for us and it was great to be back. The house was spacious and clean. The weather was extremely hot that week, so with only fans downstairs we struggled to stay cool. Otherwise we were fine.

Disgusting
We rented this house for a family vacation and had to cancel after a day. The basement was filled with mice droppings and nests. My wife and I observed mice running around freely. Upon continued inspection there were mice droppings on the top of the couch. I moved the couch and discovered mice droppings underneath. Additionally the underneath of the couch was torn up which lead me to believe the mice were nesting inside. Disgusting considering my children were playing in the area. Also knobs on grill did not work and AC is only in bedrooms. Thought that was slightly misleading. Would advise anyone from renting this property due to health and safety factor.

My husband and I and our two adult children just had a great week at 80 Shady Lane. Our check-in packet was fast to pick-up, and the person handing out the packet was full of information about the surrounding area. We called the service number once to confirm the WiFi code but the staff answered immediately and resolved the problem. The house is located on a large private lot and felt very safe and away from any major roads but still close to everything. We brought a Badminton set and there was a horseshoe set there with plenty of room in the yard for everything. The house was very spacious and clean inside and had a very fully equipped kitchen. The basement had a ping pong table and Foos ball table and provided a lot of fun at night. The outdoor shower was a plus too, especially when coming back from the beaches. The location of the house was perfect. We spent time at both beaches on Great Pond which is a relaxing (shark free) freshwater pond. Wiley Park was a 3-minute bike ride (0.4 mile) from the house and would be a great place for small children because the beach is shallow, has a playground, and bathrooms. Great pond beach was a 4 min. drive (1.3 miles) and we took floats and anchored out beyond the swimming area for a super relaxing afternoon. The beach there is nice and deeper than at Wiley. There are at least, 4 bay beaches nearby but our favorite was the closest one called Kingsbury beach (0.5 mile). There is no parking, but its close enough to drop stuff off and walk or bike back. Twice we biked to Coast Guard beach on the oceanside which is a 3.4-mile, fun, bike ride that is partly on the Nauset bike trail and partly on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. The Cape cod rail trail is only 0.9 miles away and stretches for about 25 miles giving access by bike to many restaurants, bars, mini-golf, and beautiful scenery. There are also about 10-15 restaurants and a few fish markets within a 5 min. drive. We couldn’t have had a better home base for our vacation
