This place is a GEM, you will fall in love.

This property offered more than we expected. All the comforts of home. Breakfast homemade and plentiful, delivered in darling wicker baskets and on time. The hostess/host were more like family, so warm and genuine. Wish we stayed longer. Will definitely return to this home away from home.

At Quinta das Águias we felt like travellers not just another bunch of tourists.

Georgina, your host, was warmly welcoming and a delight, as was her accommodation. Breakfast, included in the rental, was exceptional. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the rural tranquility, immaculate pool, and lovely gardens. Storks were nesting close by, and on the way to the village we passed a cart drawn by an ox. It was an authentic taste of Portugal.

Foi uma Estadia espetacular

Gostamos de tudo desde a receção da D. Georgina, a estadia, a casa, a natureza, os animais, a piscina, o jardim... de tuuuudo o Pequeno almoço feito pela D. Georgina adoramos, entregue numa cestinha de piquenique espetacular, tive a surpresa de um bolinho de aniversário feito na altura quentinho ainda e acompanhado dos parabéns cantados pela D. Georgina, obrigada por tudo. Voltaremos....

o tempo ter passado tão depressa.... Oh tempo volta para trás...

Georgina is an excellent host and treats you as a friend. The breakfast was very nice. The garden and the surroundings are breathtaking.

Charming

Charming property. Be patient when you first ring the front door, as it takes a while for the owner to come open for you.

Could use some sort of intercom between the front gate and the owner. Otherwise, absolutely great.

Exceptional

Georgina was the perfect host during our stay in the wonderful farm. Every morning we received a nice breakfast with homemade food and fresh orange juice from the farm. The appartement was very spacious with 2 separate bedrooms end 2 luxurious bathrooms. The kids loved the swimming pool and the animals.

Lovely hosts, lovely stay.

The hosts were really fantastic and genuine people, who really cared for us during our stay, thank you so much again. The garden is gorgeous and lots of lovely orange trees. The cats and dogs also of the owners are a pleasure to see. The appartment is decorated with finesse and the property is well maintained - the host is also a very good cook! Very quiet neighborhood so good sleeping.

A dream stay

Gorgeous place - I had the lovely garden and pool all to myself, and Georgina and Jose not only welcomed me warmly at the door, they had also filled the fridge with all the necessary stuff for me. What a treat. The apartment is spacious, with a great view over the garden, and the bed an absolute dream.

I wish I could return tomorrow!

This place is truly amazing: a very comfortable, spotlessly clean studio with private pool, in an amazing garden of Eden - a true slice of paradise. Add to that Sra. Georgina, the most amazing host, and it is clear that this place is a winner. We'll treasure the memories forever.

There are some low ceilings in the studio - watch your head ;)

A relaxing vacation

Everything has been excellent. The hosts are very warm and even made us a cake one day. The children were very happy about the animals and the pool. The room and all the facilities were very clean. There is place were to walk in the garden. Thank you and we will come back!!

Exceptional

A quiet and comfortable place to stay. We stayed here for a week and from the first minute loved the owners. When it came time to leave it was like parting with family. You will not find kinder more genuine people. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Despite them living next door we enjoyed perfect privacy in lovely surroundings. We will be back.

10/10 PERFECT- Luxurious accommodation in a paradise setting. Truly exceptional and gorgeous

WOW! What an amazing find! You will not find anywhere more beautiful or luxurious. Definitely book this accommodation!! It is an absolutely stunning property. From the first moment you step into the apartment you will be amazed by its beauty, comfort and taste and the quality of fittings and fixtures. Everything is immaculate and every aspect has been thought of with great care and attention to detail. The view from the balcony overlooks the gardens and stunning pool which is there for your own personal use. The pool is a great size and has very comfortable sun loungers for sunbathing. And the garden....you will be blown away! It has manicured lawns, a fountain, a flower lined stream with bridges, benches and street lamps that are lit during the evenings. There are even orange and lemon trees which you are invited to pick from at your leisure! Great for your sangria! Jose has created a masterpiece in beauty and tranquility. The house and gardens are so beautiful and peaceful and we wished we could have stayed longer. And what hosts! Fresh fruit, eggs, milk, water, ham, cheese, etc were waiting in the fridge on arrival plus a plate of delicious coconut cakes baked by Georgina. And not only did Jose leave fresh bread rolls on our doorstep every morning and a bottle of his favourite wine to try, but Georgina even brought over a pitcher of freshly squeezed orange juice and a tray of freshly baked cakes for us one afternoon. But the biggest surprise was when we were invited to a traditional Portuguese bbq with their family and friends on our last night. Sardines and cornbread, green soup and coffee cake baked by Jose's mum in law with wine drunk out of glazed pottery cups! Fantastic memories made that will never be forgotten. Thank you Jose and Georgina, we had the most wonderful time at Quinta das Aguias.
