Ideal for grandkids to play. Lovely feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs. Great location.

Llys Onnen is a gem of a place and the perfect choice for a short stay in the depths of winter. It is warm, cosy, bright and very comfortable. I can only imagine how idyllic a holiday here would be in the summer for those lucky enough to be blessed with long, sunny days.
All your needs are catered for and Kevin has thought of everything. A welcome pack of a freshly baked loaf of bread, butter and milk was much appreciated and a thoughtful touch.
We didn’t get the chance to visit Woolly Experiences which is just a stone’s throw away from Llys Onnen, but we caught a glimpse of the beautiful alpacas
as we drove past. There are plenty of attractions within easy driving distance.
This beautiful home is in a lovely, peaceful location and the fact that it has a large 2 acre field is a big plus. Being able to feed the resident duck and chickens was great fun!
I have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Llys Onnen holiday cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Thank you so much.
There weren’t any negatives as far as we were concerned.

The family thought the house and location was very good and spent time playing games and jigsaws
Fed the hens and enjoyed the outdoors
All good but the weather was really bad and it rained all the time

Chickens fresh eggs, homemade bread on arrival. Spotlessly clean, woolly therapy just up the road. Kids loved it x

Location was very beautiful, and the cottage very lovely. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Chickens and their fresh eggs are definitely a plus! There's even an EV charger, which is great as those are not easy to find in north Wales.
Seriously can't think of anything.

Was very spacious and comfortable. Felt very much at home with all facilities that where needed.
Enjoyed collecting own eggs in the morning.
Possibly could do with more mirrors in bathroom but this is a minor thing.

The house is very comfortable and well-equipped and the surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful location, rural and very tranquil. On the whole the cottage was well appointed with plenty of space-just wish we could have stayed a few more nights to enjoy it all, especially the outdoor space. Lovely owners and a generous welcome basket in the kitchen. Particularly enjoyed the living and dining space and the fact that the kitchen doors open out onto a sun-soaked terrace in the morning, overlooking the ducks, chickens and cows!
Some of the equipment had seen better days like the cutlery and the ironing board. Sets of crockery and kitchenware a bit hotch-potch and no small glasses, so gave the children milk to drink in a beer glass! Work surface space around the cooker would be great as there is nowhere to put ingredients you are using down where you are cooking. But these are really minor points and didn't really hold us back!
