Really unique and particular hotel with many objects from the war and a great breakfast room with the cockpit of a plane. Super super nice and welcoming owners.
Essendo pieno di tanti oggetti risulta un po’ polveroso.

we loved all of the historic memorabilia from the owner's collection! also, the owner was very kind and informative, and the breakfast was delicious!
a lot of small, old stairs and it's hard to be quiet at night going up and down!

Wonderful location, staff and facility. Charming place with an interesting history and perfect location in the town. The staff was kind and incredibly attentive.
The spiral stairs to the upper floors are a bit challenging but it is the nature of these places

A beautiful property full of local history of the airfields. Each bedroom has its own history and a book to describe each picture and artefact.

Wonderful seaside village, one minute walk to the beach. Absolutely marvellous hostess, ready to help with anything. The House was like a portal into another time and world, it was very special indeed. And the dog was a bonus:)

Everything, and the amazing host

Paul & Anne were attentive hosts, and super knowledgeable & interested about the area and the history. Imagine my surprise to discover they not only knew of my great-uncle’s WW2 endeavours, but a bedroom in their sister property pays homage.
We stayed in the suite as there were 4 of us, which was delightfully spacious, with a lovely view.
We had not clocked that parking was so limited and had not pre-booked until we realised the day before. Anne was really helpful in offering alternatives.

An amazing space, and the hosts are fab!

the warm welcome, the breakfast and the interesting artefacts.

The hotel takes you right back to the forties of last century. It completed our D-Day experience. The owners are the best.
Aks for the cockpit. You'll be amazed :)

Breakfast was excellent. Location very good. Bit of confusion because there are actually two hotels if the same name, with the same door codes. The address given by Tripadvisor is the original building. We arrived late and spent half an hour figuring out why the layout worked but not the room numbers. Fortunately two guests arrived who explained there was a second building and the hostess was up waiting for us, having made 7 phone calls to try to reach us!
Perhaps an explanation that there are two buildings, but that would be all. I would definitely book again

We were greeted by Madame Anne-Florence who is absolutely brilliant! She took around the house explaining in loving detail all the memorabilia in the house and how much effort and love they put into restoring the manor. Authentic and comfortable at the same time. Breakfast was so good and all the crockery is aviation themed too! We couldn't have asked for a better host and a better place to stay that is dedicated to the war and remembers it. Our room was comfortable and very clean and parking is in the garden. Location is excellent just minutes away from the beach and the remains of the Mulberry harbours on the shore. We easily found a good restaurant to have dinner. Would have loved to stay another night for sure! Highly recommended!

Very friendly owner. Great breakfast.

The location was right in the center of Arromanches les Bains and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Day museum. The owners were super friendly and helpful. As pilots ourselves, we loved the aviation theme and memorabilia throughout the hotel!
Unfortunately, there was a live concert going on across the street from the hotel on the night we stayed. It was a bit noisy and went on until 11:00pm, but completely quiet once the concert ended. No fault on the owners' part though.

Was like eating at home! Good and smiling ambiance!

Location very good and, with a GPS easy to find. The many photographs and artifacts in the hotel relating to aviation were fascinating and mine host gave an interesting "tour" of the premises to explain the significance of some of the items
It may have been my lack of driving skill but parking was a pain in the ......... The hotel sits sideways on to a very narrow road, narrower than my car is long. It is necessary to reverse into the entrance to the parking area from the road. This involved reversing, bumping, the front wheels over the kerb of the pavement opposite. Even by the end of our stay I was not comfortable with this. There is a car park almost opposite, but at 2 euros an hour, I think, not a viable alternative

Top place, very enthousiastic owners, and a lot of history all around you.
