About this villa rental
Mahogany Villa is situated at the prime location of Mount Irvine in 2.5 acres of landscaped tropical gardens, shared with just four other villas.
With lovely views across the golf course and through palm trees to the Caribbean Sea, guests at Mahogany will enjoy the peaceful, secluded and safe environment (security gated with remote controlled access and with a resident site manager) .
Designed for open air living with a huge, shady verandah area of 80 sq metres and an upper level terrace, which comes into its own at sunset, Mahogany nestles in a beautifully maintained, yet natural, garden. The villa has a large, private plunge pool (4 x 3 metres) and shares an inviting 60 foot (20m) swimming pool, which is situated just 15 metres from villa's private garden.
The beautiful samaan trees combined with other exotic flora, attract a wide variety of exotic birds, including hummingbirds, tanagers and mot-mots.
The living room has a soft seating zone with flat screen TV and complimentary WiFi.
There is comfortably enough dining space inside and out for 10 people with various combinations of tables/seating to choose from.
Mahogany has a fully equipped kitchen that will suit guests who may just want or a simple breakfast or others who plan to prepare substantial meals.
All three bedrooms are generously proportioned and each has its own ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and plenty of storage space. There is an additional WC situated on the ground floor.
The adjoining utility/laundry room has all the equipment necessary to cater for anyone planning to stay for 2 weeks or more.
Two of the island's beautiful, Caribbean coast beaches (Grange and Mount Irvine - please see photos) can be reached in 5 minutes by car or via a 10-15 minute stroll across the golf course, which can be accessed via the garden gate.
Keen golfers will enjoy being able to play two championship courses (both over 6,500 yards - par 72), both within easy reach of the villa. Packages are available on request and there are 3 sets of clubs at the villa (2 x men's and 1 x women's) - guests should contact the owners in advance if they wish to borrow clubs.
Although local beaches, restaurants and shops are within walking distance, a car is recommended.
The villa is an ideal location for families or groups of friends to enjoy Tobago.

Mahagony Villa was a dream.cone true for us. The villa is very spacious, much larger than it appears in photos. So there is more than adequate space whethet you are entertaini g guests or have older children.
The villa is very close to the pool. It is also close to nature we were able to see various spe ies of birds and butterflies in their natural environment
The location is excellent, just a short drive from supermarkets and top restaurants.
I highly recommend Mahagony Villa. We very much would like to return again and spe d even more time.

Wonderful location, close to all amenities. Beautiful gardens and a fab large pool for the kids. The house is incredibly spacious with everything you might need. We felt well looked after with Liz on hand and travel tips from Reg and Sue. Our first trip to Tobago but there is so much to see and do. Nylon pool, bioluminescence at Bon Accord, paddleboarding at Mt Irvine, No Man's Land. Rainforest Walk.

Lovely villa
This is a perfect villa for stay with family or friends, exactly as seen in the photos. The location is excellent for beaches in any direction, and very quiet. It is very spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped. The veranda is wide and a perfect vantage point for enjoying a meal or drinks overlooking the golf course. We saw some beautiful sunsets on the green with swaying coconut trees. The kitchen has everything you might need to prepare a meal. We would definitely like to return and wished we had more days there.

Beautiful Villa on a Beautiful Island
What can I say, this villa was absolutely stunning! The kitchen and dining area opened up onto an amazing patio with a view to the shared pool and golf course. The master bedroom downstairs was huge and the two bedrooms up stairs were very comfortable. Liz, the property manager, was so helpful, going out of her way to assist us. She even drove to come find us when we got lost on our way from the airport.
We were devastated when we had to cut our trip short due to the Coronavirus outbreak. But Liz came immediately when we texted her saying that our Saturday night flight had been canceled and we had to leave immediately to catch the last flight out of the country.
Reg, the owner, was so flexible, that he emailed me the next day offering to refund 50% of the cost, since we only stayed 2 out of the 4 days.
We can't wait to go back and actually get to enjoy this beautiful villa. We will be back.

So glad we chose Mahogany Villa!
We were pleased that the setting (inside and out) looked exactly like the pictures. In addition to the small, private, jacuzzi-type pool directly off the veranda, there is a larger communal pool (as shown in listing photo) shared by 5 other units. We were pleasantly surprised that many times during our 2 week stay, our group of 6 adults had the communal pool to ourselves. Although groceries, beaches and restaurants are only a short ride away (i.e., 10 minutes - strongly recommend taxi and/or private driving services), the location of the villa made for a quiet, peaceful getaway. From our check-in (arranging airport transportation; picking up basic groceries; meeting us on-site) to departure, Liz (Property Manager) made sure that everything ran smoothly. We will definitely consider booking here again. Many thanks for a great vacation and first-time visit to Tobago!

Wonderful!
A fantastic villa - couldn’t have asked for anything better - private pool and use of large communal pool 10m away, AC in all the bedrooms, the quiet location yet near Crown Point and the very attentive housekeeper and Liz the property manager who was just great! A wonderful way to revisit Tobago after a 20 year gap! Thank you Su and Reg :-)

First Trip to Tobago
Mahogany Villa is one of 5 in a gated community and if you want to relax it is the perfect villa. If you have got children with you, it is safe for them to explore the area around the villa.
The villa is well equipment for all your needs and is larger inside than it looks. In the warm evening it makes a great place to relax on the veranda looking out west over the golf course with a drink or 2 and watch the sunset.
The owner Reg is only a email away and responds very quickly to your queries and would make a very good tour guide with his knowledge of the Island. The management company, Liz and Judi were very helpful. When we return to Tobago we will make Mahogany Villa our choice of accommodation to stay again. Homeaway only allows you to give the maximum 5 star. In our opinion, we would give it 10 stars for everything if we could.
Not to forget both the house keeper, Germaine and Wayne, the grounds man, together they ensured our stay was seamless and offered an excellent service.
The car hire company, Mr. Cars, recommended by the owners, were first class. Mervyn met us at the airport and drove us to the villa which was only about 15 minute drive from the airport.
Thanks again Reg and Su for opening your Tobago home so your guests can have a great holiday, Lesley and Phil. February 2019.

Perfect villa in a super location
This villa is fab for a family or several couples, with its own mini plunge pool and use of a large comunial pool a few steps away (of which we had to our selves all week)it was the perfect place to completely relax. There are only 5 villas in the complex and we never saw any one else apart from the gardener and cleaner.... Pure heaven! A stroll across the golf course gets you straight into the village where there are restaurants bars etc. The villa is self is so usable... It feels more homely than most, having every thing you could possibly want! Would defo recommend... Just perfect.

Amazing place can’t wait to go back
What a fabulous place to unwind. We were met at the airport by Mervyn our recommended car hire man by the owners and after a short drive we were greeted by the staff who were so friendly and helpful. The villa was amazing with a quiet tucked away feel but with just a short drive you had supermarkets and fantastic beaches and bars with spectacular scenery. The place was immaculate and very traditional tobagan. The only thing wrong was that we didn’t stay longer, can’t wait to go again

Beautiful Home! Great Location!
Thank you to the owner and staff team who made our family New Year vacation an amazing memory.
Mahogany Villa far exceeded our expectations. The pictures just don't do it justice!
It was spacious, clean, and fully equipped for our 5 kids (5-11 years old) and adults. Parking for 3 cars, daily housekeeping, WiFi, cable, BBQ, pools, and so much more.
Felt completely safe for the kids to roam the grounds because it was gated and private. Being able to access the Golf course and easily get to Mt. Irvine Beach made it way easier than having to load everyone into the car.
To Liz, our heartfelt gratitude for checking in with us even under extreme circumstances. And a very special thank you to Judi, Jermaine, and Wayne who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless.
I only have positive things to brag about and will recommend to all my Canadian friends and family. Highly, highly recommend. We'll definitely book again!

Beautiful and peaceful location - but not far from the action
Absolutely stunning setting for a holiday with friends and family. Nestled near a quiet golf course within walking distance to the beach. The villa also has a great private hot tub area and large shared pool. A short drive from the airport and to any local beaches or amenities you may need. Highly recommended.

Awesome Home
Mahogany Villa is a beautiful property in a gated community. Liz, the property manager, is lovely, and the home comes with daily housekeeping service. The house is also located nearby Mt Irvine Beach, and it is a 10-minute drive to Pigeon Point Beach, which is exceptional. I plan to be a repeat renter on my next trip to Tobago. Also, Mr. Tito (868-342-2456) is a great guy to hire to get you around the island. Exceptional service all around!

Great family holiday villa in excellent location
I would highly recommend staying at this villa. Great location, only 20 mins drive from the airport. The villa is in a quiet setting but only a few minutes walk from the nearest beach (across the golf course) The golf course restaurant and bar is also walkable to get to but take a torch if you’re coming back in the dark
Lots of beaches, bars and restaurants only a short drive or taxi ride away. (Recommend Pizza Boys for a great takeaway pizza - have a beer across the road while you wait!) .
A lovely surprise that the villa has it’s own large jacuzzi pool in addition to sharing the communal pool with just another 4 villas. Only rarely anyone else using the pool at the same time as us.
All 3 of the local team (Germaine on housekeeping, Wayne on maintenance / security and Liz as local management) looked after us really well.
All the expected facilities were provided with good internet connection, books and games, tv, an excellent selection of kitchen utensils and cooking dishes etc. Plus the air conditioning was very welcome at night!
If you put out sugar water to feed the humming birds then they will come, quite amazing.
We used Hans tours to call us when they knew there were baby turtles or nesting turtles to see locally too. They picked us up to take us to nearby Turtle Beach one evening.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday :-)

Spectacular Villa in Tobago
The villa was outstanding, much larger than expected. We were more than pleased with the surroundings waking up to perfect view. It had a fully functioning kitchen with all the utilities of a high standard. We had an added bonus of our private jacuzzi and access to a large swimming pool.
The overall experience was outstanding my only fault was we should have stayed longer.
The hosts, venue manager, housekeeper and grounds manager were always on hand to answer queries and all offered an excellent service.
Truly worth visiting and I plan to do several more visits there.

"Home Sweet Home"
Mahogany Villa is definitely one of the most comfortable and relaxing homes that we have ever stayed in. We felt 'at home' right away. Like other guests stated, even before the stay both owners, Reg and Su, and manager, Liz, were super helpful and welcoming. Germaine, the housekeeper, and Wayne, the groundsman/security guard, made you feel well taken care of and secure. 'Brownie', the security watch dog, was such a warm pet to come 'home' too. She would wag her tail and come greet us as we came home from a wonderful day of activity on the island. We absolutely loved the home! It had so many warm features, and practical items for days out, like the cooler and ice packs. Also, for days in, like books, magazines, comfortable seating, and cable tv. For evenings in, beautiful little lights around the veranda automatically came on adding a romantic ambiance. We even entertained guests who own an Italian restaurant on the island, and they loved 'our home'. Thank you so much, Reg and Su, for allowing us the wonderful opportunity to share your home. We can't wait to get back to Mahogany Villa, our new 'home away from home'! :)

Excellent accommodation in beautiful surroundings
We spent two glorious weeks in Mahogany Villa beginning in the last few days of February. We were met at the airport by Shawn who handed over the car that we had hired from Mr Cars. Shawn very helpfully, and unexpectedly, led us to the villa in his car where we were met by Liz Sloper the Villa Manager who showed us where everything was. Liz was unobtrusively helpful throughout our stay particularly in recovering a small bag containing valuables that I had stupidly left on the pavement just outside airport arrivals.
The villa is beautifully appointed, equipped with everything that one could need. Its setting on the fringe of the golf course is superb. The large verandah looks out over the golf course and is visited by many different birds including humming birds and Mot-Mots. A short walk across the course, amongst coconut palms and other exotic trees, leads to the pretty sandy Mount Irvine beach where most days we swam and bought excellent fresh fish from a shore-side stall. The house keeper, Germaine, maintains the immaculate condition of the villa, arriving every day if asked. Wayne the gardner takes very good care of the outside of the house, the pool and the garden itself.
Tobago is a beautiful island. The pleasure of relaxing in and around the villa meant that we did not see any where near all of it. However, we very much enjoyed the classical palm fringed beaches on the Caribbean coast and our guided walk in the rain forest.

Excellent villa for a relaxing holiday
Mahogany Villa undoubtedly offers wonderful holiday accommodation for parties of up to six or eight adults. The house is spacious, well-furnished and very, very comfortable. What more can one ask for?

Utopic!!!
Tobago never disappoints and neither did the Mahogany Villa. It was exactly as advertised, although it far exceeded expectations. It is located about 15 minutes from the airport, is close to several grocery stores, fruit stands, restaurants, bank machines and a 10 minute walk across the golf course to the closest beach. A rental car is recommended.
It is a quiet gated property of 5 villas, with beautifully maintained grounds and a shared pool large enough to swim laps. The villa also has a small plunge pool by the verandah.
The villa itself is very well equipped, with an open style main floor with a large well stocked kitchen. There is a beautiful large master bedroom on the main floor with 2 well appointed bedrooms upstairs, all with ensuite bathrooms. Two sets of large glass double doors open from the inside to a wonderful covered verandah that looks out onto the golf course. It was nicely furnished with a dining table, comfortable loungers, chairs and my favorite, a hammock. We ate all our meals and downed a few rum punches out there, while enjoying the sunset over the golf course.
There were 2 sets of golf clubs made available to us, which we made good use of and enjoyed many hours on the neighbouring golf course.
Mt Irvine beach and Grafton Beach are both closeby. There are so many wonderful places to visit on the island, and many activities available for all ages and interests.
Liz, the property manager, was extremely attentive, and was available to make our stay as perfect as possible, only a phone call away. Germaine, the housekeeper, did a wonderful job looking after the house. Wayne, security and groundskeeper, was on the property every night and part of each day. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.
If you are looking for a low key get-away, this is it. We were there for a month, time went too quickly and it was very difficult to leave…… a great holiday!!!

A fantastic base from which to explore the island.
We’re a family of 5 from the UK and we spent a couple of weeks at Mahogany Villa in November/December 2017.
Primarily we sought a relaxing holiday in the sunshine with enough activities to satisfy our spirits of adventure. We were not disappointed.
Mahogany Villa is comfortable, spacious and airy with a huge veranda, a private jacuzzi and a 20m pool which we luckily had completely to ourselves. It was a great base for a peaceful holiday in a tropical location.
Located just outside the busy Pigeon Point area to the south and within easy reach of the of the capital to the west, it was a convenient place from which to embark on our daily trips. A car was a necessity but the shops, beaches, bars and restaurants are only a short drive away. We especially liked the beaches around Mt Irvine Bay. They were absolutely beautiful especially early in the morning or in the evening as the sun sets.
There was a lot to do: walking, swimming, snorkelling, diving (Speyside was best), surfing and driving all the way around the island.
We’d thoroughly recommend:
1) The Adventure Farm and Nature Reserve (Arnos Vale) where the hummingbirds were flying all around and right next to you – take a slow motion video!
2) A dive trip from Speyside with a stop on Goat Island and lunch at Jemma’s Treehouse.
3) A dive trip using Black Rock Divers in Mt Irvine Bay. Marcus, the owner/dive leader, was a mine of information and extremely helpful.
4) A visit to “Sunday School” at Buccoo – nothing religious. It’s a weekly street party with lots of local food and an amazing steel band – a fantastic atmosphere.
5) A visit to Fort King George in Scarborough. A fascinating museum with great views.
6) Visits to Waves in Grafton Bay – great views and lunches.
7) Just simply driving around the island and visiting the many glorious bays with their panoramic views.
We didn’t have time for a tour of the ancient rainforest nor the waterfalls. There’s a lot more to see and do but, hey, we’ll do them next time!

Amazing Villa in Tobago
We had a wonderful stay in Tobago...we stayed with tree teenagers and there was plenty of room for all of us. The veranda was great and my boys especially enjoyed the hammock!
The pool was lovely ...a very quiet complex with just a few villas in very pretty surroundings....the neighbours even gave us dinner one evening!
The local beach was amazing ....walkable across the golf course.

Amazing stay at Mahogany Villa
When we arrived we were greeted by Liz, she showed us round the villa- very friendly and was always a phone call away, if ever we needed anything. The villa itself was stunning, very spacious downstairs area with a great ensuite bedroom, the outside area with the hammock and private jauccuzi was amazing- so relaxing! The resort was very peaceful during our stay. Wayne, security guard, was very friendly and gave us great tips.
Over all- it was one of the best holidays we've ever had, we have fallen in love with the island and the villa. Cant praise it enough!!

A Piece of Pure Heaven
Mahogany villa is a spacious, comfortable & well equipped villa. I can't think of anything we missed there or would have liked to have had, it had it all !! The grounds are perfect as it's in a gated complex so feels really safe. The villa has comfortable, air-conditioned bedrooms, perfect for a good nights sleep.
There is always someone around to assist if anything is needed. It's kept clean & tidy by a housekeeper who comes 6 days a week. The grounds are kept immaculate by Wayne who is on site most of the day & overnight.
There are two supermarkets a short drive away which caters for most needs & the beaches are a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk over the golf course. The snorkelling is fabulous with stunning underwater life such as turtles, rays & plenty of colourful fish. We were lucky enough to see all of the above plus help some Leatherback hatchlings on their journey into the ocean, a once in a lifetime experience.
All of the information you need to make your holiday memorable can be found at the villa which provides plenty of ideas for your holiday in Paradise.
Go there! You'd be a fool to miss it !!

Even before our arrival right up until we left, the staff were all very accommodating and helpful. The property along with the house was regularly cleaned, making our stay even more enjoyable! We absolutely loved spending time in the house, the spacious kitchen made cooking a breeze and the back patio and private Jacuzzi was perfect for late night relaxing. As a group of young women, we felt safe and comfortable at all times! We will definitely be back soon! Thank you :)
