Villa Eunice is located in one of the most beautiful panoramic areas of Positano: the villa is an old house built on the top of that high rocky spur overlooking the sea and which seems to “sustain” the main and most picturesque part of Positano, photographed and printed in every postcard.
The inhabitants of the place call this part of town “La Pigna” (pine cone) due to its round shape and to the fact that all the houses overlap one another just as on the shelf of a pineapple. The ‘Pigna’ separates the Spiaggia Grande (Large Beach) from the beach of Fornillo, and it features a flat summit shaped as a small triangle, the Punta Reginella. Villa Eunice is built on the top of the ‘Pigna’: once you have arrived on its terraces, you will feel as if in the first row to watch a marvelous show, in this case the scenery of Positano. You will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea, the town, and the coast.

The villa was a quintessential Italian home which was beautiful and quaint. The on-line pictures do not capture the spaciousness of the villa. I was there with three of my children and one of their friends who are on their 20’s. There are two main bedrooms with double beds which are very firm and comfortable, and both have gorgeous views from large windows. There is another room with a twin and a futon. Then there is a living room with doors that close that had a pull out sofa double bed. All of these rooms have excellent air conditioning which was important as it was very hot when we visited. The best part of the stay was the balcony. We spent most of our time sitting outside enjoying the spectacular view. It was truly million dollar and any description can’t do it justice. It was quiet and peaceful. Our host was very responsive and left great instructions. She even booked a porter for us to carry our bags to the ferry on the day of departure. There is everything you need nearby. If you take a left out of the villa there is a small market at the intersection where you can get food and drinks plus made to order sandwiches for takeout. There is a little cafe for drinks and bakery items. We tried two restaurants nearby that were both excellent, not too expensive, and had some of the best food and service In all of our 9 day stay in Italy. The local bus is blue and you catch it under the big clock to the left of villa. Takes you to bottom of town for 2 euros!

The villa was so beautiful and so comfortable. Ms Stefania, the villa manager, was super helpful both while we were there and before we arrived. We had a really special visit to Positano.

We enjoy the villa very much. It was a dream to live in a beautiful villa for a week. The view! There are no words! We enjoyed walking everywhere and having the little shops and restaurants nearby.
The sisters who care for the house were always available, accommodating and hospitable.
Positano is a lovely and welcoming place and the perfect area for home base. We took many trips by driver, taxi, boat and bus to the surrounding towns and islands.
Summer In Italy made booking easy and every question answered in a timely manner. It felt reassuring to have a company that rented several beautiful villas, be our concierge and go between. They have specific criteria that help the owner and the vacationers. We would highly recommend using them.

Villa Eunice was an amazing place to stay. The location was excellent, and home was very nice. The terrace was beautiful with a wonderful view.
The owner of the home went beyond expectations in helping me with travel arrangements, activities, and restaurant suggestions.
The representatives at Summer In Italy were professional, responsive and very helpful.

Villa Eunice was amazing! The best view of the sea over Positano and a nice quiet location. Be sure to be ready for Positano stairs!
Stefania [the caretaker] and her family were wonderful, welcoming and always available. Check-in was easy and the home had everything we needed for our stay.

The most amazing place to stay in Positano! The views were absolutely breathtaking and the house had everything we needed - air conditioning, a beautiful terrace, washing machine, fully stocked kitchen and generous bedrooms. We would absolutely be back!
Very easy booking process!

The view from the villa was breathtaking the minute we walked through the door. We used the kitchen to cook a few nights and it was very functional and well equipped. We would love to come back!
Stefania [the caretaker] was a wonderful host and really was a great resource for local events and things to do. We also visited her restaurant "Open Gate" in Praiano and had the best meal all week!
You all communicated well. Understood that we had to reschedule several times due to Covid and provided us with great information on tours and excursions.

This villa is everything you could ask for, and more!
It is well kept, clean, large for the money, and in a fantastic location for bus access and excellent restaurants within walking distance.
The first thing you notice when you arrive is the amazing view of the water from the terrace balcony. After nearly a day of travel from the US, we were exhausted by the time we arrived. We dropped our bags and immediately went out and sat at the edge of the terrace and looked out at the wonder and splendor of the view for a good while. One thing led to another, and I ended up asking my girlfriend to marry me right then and there! Glad I did it at the beginning and not the end of our stay as we enjoyed being able to tell people we met during the week.
Over the week, we had some of the best traditional southern Italian meals you could imagine, all within walking distance. We took cooking classes, excursions to Navello and Almalfi, a boat to Capri for the day, and sipped some of the best wine in the country.
But even with all that, we commented to each other that our favorite spot by far was the edge of that terrace, every morning and evening, looking out over the mountains and ocean, either sipping coffee or wine. Trust me, you'll feel the same.
The booking process was smooth as silk. Stefania and Sofia, the propery managers, were great to work with and spoke excellent English. (Thank you both, ladies!) And download WhatsApp! Everyone uses it and assumes you do as well.

This is a wonderful property. It has everything and more. Stefania is an extraordinary host helping us in every way possible with wonderful recommendations for restaurants and how to get about Positano. The property is a 2 minute walk to the buses and taxi rank. There is a grocery store, restaurants and bar 2 minutes away also.
The balconies are wonderful the views extraordinary and the outside furniture perfect as well as sun lounges and outside shower. The air conditioning works very well. The beds are comfortable and quality linen.
Thank you Stefania for everything - including organising our luggage to be taken to the port. We loved our stay in Positano at your villa. So many beautiful memories created.

Stefania & her sister were extremely gracious hosts in their childhood home. Excellent location, incredible views made for a relaxing stay. Shops & restaurants(breakfast) just up street so you could avoid major steps for necessities. Private small garage available, rare for Positano. Highly recommend. VRBO had address incorrect so please contact hosts to confirm. Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spacious home featuring two large bedrooms and separate baths, and a large terrace with breathtaking views of the Positano harbor. Ideally located near grocery store and cafe/restaurants, and bus stop for trips to other cities on Amalfi Coast and different bus that takes you around Positano. Hostesses were very responsive to our questions, check-in and out process was seamless, and they provided helpful information regarding appliances at Villa as well as information on Positano. Also helped us secure wonderful driver to take us to Naples. Highly recommend this taste of Paradise! One thing to note: Positano is a city of MANY steps so you either need to be very fit or prepared to take the bus when you go to—and especially from—the Villa to center of Positano or beaches.

After having twice spent a week there over the last 10 years I would gladly do it again, if my age wasn't impacting my ability to easily get around a lovely place like Positano.
Fortunately, the villa is at the top of the steep hill on which the town of Positano has developed. The local bus with a stop a mere block from Villa Eunice is a help as transport passengers about halfway down to the beach, it's on foot the rest of the way.
I felt Summer In Italy made the process very easy and transparent. I was especially satisfied that they honored my initial deposit completely after the Covid forced us to cancel our original booking.

Spectacular and very convenient
As spectacular as the photos of this property are, they do not do it justice. None could. Perched above Positano, the mountain falls away below you to the sea. The terraces are the perfect place to enjoy the ever-changing sea and sky, sunrise to sunset, and the moon shimmers its way across the sea at night.
And the house! It gleams with color and vivid detail, and every room looks out over those same vistas. Comfortably appointed, book extra time, because there are days you won't want to leave, and why should you?
But when you do leave, and wind your way down the steps to the city and the beaches, you'll be grateful for such a close-in place. And don't worry, the convenient orange bus will bring you right back to the top of the hill, with the convenient and surprisingly well-stocked grocery, bar, tabac and fish markets.
Of course you'll want to explore further afield... Capri, Sorrento, Salerno, all a quick ferry-ride away. Do not miss the Blue Grotto! Taste some Lemoncello, visit Pompeii, do what you like... but if you book this house, you'll be glad you did, every day of your visit!

We expected this to be very nice from photos, descriptions, and reviews
We expected this to be very nice from photos, descriptions, and reviews. It was even better than expected.
Both bedrooms are spacious, one with corner windows and the other with an attached terrace. The main terrace offers a post card view of the rest of Positano and the boats bobbing in the Med. This would very easily accommodate two couples or a family. The kitchen works! And the rest of the living space is inviting and comfortable.
We were met on arrival as promised. The owner/local landlady made it all easy. This was a treat.
Villa Eunice sits high in Positano, so it is a walk (or ride on the bus going through town) to most of the restaurants, but the view is exceptional.

Villa Eunice was a perfect spot for our family of 5! Positano is a town of stairs and it was so nice that you can enter this property with just a 15 foot slope down from the street - no stairs!
The outdoor space is really large and the views are spectacular! Being at the top of town was great. The beds are firm and the showers small but we found that to be the case throughout Italy.
Summer In Italy was great to work with! Very responsive, helpful and will definitely be booking through them again for our next trip!

As a result of what we had seen on the website, we had high expectations and we were not disappointed. The place was spotlessly clean, well-equipped and accurately described on the website: a luxurious amount of space in a town where every square inch of cliff-side space is intensively used.Stefania, the local manager, was a delight to deal with. Her English is excellent, her attitude very friendly, proactive and positive. If ever we had a slight problem, she was very quick to solve it and communicated very efficiently through WhatsApp.Positano itself is a real gem and an excellent base for visiting the Amalfi coast. Some of the notable positives of this property included, among others, a combination of closeness to the street (so no lugging suitcases up and down steps) but despite this, it was very quiet; outstanding views over the bay across Positano and to the south, as well as towards Capri and the north; good location for local bus journeys if desired; closeness to two local convenience stores and several suppliers of food and drink and, for those who are fit, not too long of a walk up from sea level - it took us about 35 minutes, but we are reasonably fit!All in all, an excellent stay and highly recommended

We just returned from Villa Eunice and loved every second of our visit. The villa is perfectly situated high above Positano with beautiful views of the sea and within walking distance of everything you need. The restaurants around the villa are top notch. Villa Franca, Cafe Positano and many Villa Magia were are favorites. The bus stop....a must if you don’t want to walk the MANY steps down to the city center, is just a short walk and so are a few great groceries and small cafes. The Villa itself is beautiful and has everything you need. We will be back!

Magnificent
Villa Eunice is absolutely breathtaking. It's with great sadness that we had only 4 splendid days to explore the area leaving too little time to enjoy the splendor of our home base. Stephania and Sophia were fabulous hosts and made sure we knew where and how to get around. The home is extremely clean and well maintained and equipped. The patio vistas, flowers and vines were delightful. There was nothing we needed except more time and stamina to explore Positano. Check out neighboring Praiano including Kasai and Open Gate. We hope to return in which case will definitely return to Villa Eunice. You will not be disappointed!

Villa Eunice was wonderful, it was everything we hoped for and more. The space in the villa was perfect. It felt like we were guests in someone’s home and we truly enjoyed the warm feel. All of the rooms are so nice and the light from all the windows and doors helped to bring the outside in. The terrace was our favorite space of all and was where we spent most of our time. The views were priceless!
We appreciate the owner allowing us to stay in such a beautiful spot. Also, we were so appreciative to Stefania [the caretaker] for letting us check-in a little early, and for giving us good advice on the porter service for our bags.
We have used other rental services while traveling in the past and feel that Summer In Italy was a very good option for booking our stay in Positano. The description of the villas on the web site made it very easy to understand what each of them offered. The communication with the staff, especially Luca, during the process was also very helpful.
