A magnificent house, fully equipped, spotless, exactly as described on vrbo's website. The host was always available, the fridge was full when we arrived and he offered us our first lunch with two traditional and delicious greek plates, moussaka and gemista (stuffed tomatoes and green peppers). He offered us tips for dinner, beaches, excursions in full detail. The location is quiet, the pools are a great asset and the pool area has everything that a holidaymaker needs. The beach is only 50 meters away. Other beaches are located very close to the house (walking distance and some are less than a 10-minute drive). A perfect residence for two families or a party of 10-12 people. Thanks for the hospitality! We will certainly return!

All amenities to make our stay more than comfortable, both for adults as well as for children&toddlers, were provided. I can’t think of anything this beautiful villa was lacking. Fully equipped kitchens on both levels of the villa, as well as a 3rd one by the pool & bbq, which was extremely handy, along with the W.C. and shower by the pool. Amenities, linen and surrounding spaces were spotless, of good quality and well maintained. On the first day, we were greeted by the owner, Vassilis, offering us a delicious welcoming dinner. He was exceptionally welcoming, professional & discrete and made sure all our needs were met. Beautiful beaches and tons of historic places to visit in the area. We hope we will be able to come back again! Highly recommended!

Dear Vasilis, we would like to thank you for the amazing accommodation and services provided during our stay in your villa. The house is magnificent, extremely clear, in a very convenient location, while the BBQ area and the swimming pools are fantastic for relaxation and beautiful moments. This is a wonderful villa which is well looked after, well managed and has everything one needs. Also great views. Wish we could have stayed longer than a week. Vasilis was very helpful.

Das Haus ist wunderschön, genau wie auf den Fotos. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Bettwäsche und Handtücher, auch für den Pool, sind reichlich vorhanden. Jedes Schlafzimmer (4) hat ein eigenes Bad. Ein extra Bad mit Dusche und WC für den Pool Bereich. Ebenso eine extra Poolküche. Der Hauseigene Gemüsegarten darf für den eigenen Verzehr geplündert werden. Anfahrt von Kalamata in 30 Min. mit dem Auto. Von Athen in 3 Std. erreichbar. Vasillis, der Vermieter ist ausgesprochen nett, hilfsbereit und ist 24 Std. erreichbar. Da meine Tochter in Ammothines Beach, nähe Pylos, am Strand geheiratet hat, wurden wir von Vasillis über die lokalen Pressenachrichten informiert. Mit dieser hatten wir alle nicht gerechnet, auch das Brautpaar nicht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit einem exzellenten Abendessen, am Ankunftstag, überrascht. Sein Cousin, der nicht weit entfernt ein Lokal besitzt, hat dieses Essen vorbereitet. Da muss man unbedingt zum Essen hingehen. Überaus freundlich und sehr lecker, wenn man Griechische Hausmanskost schätzt. Für das Frühstück am nächsten Tag war der Kühlschrank gefüllt. Der Kiesstrand ist ca. 50 m entfernt. 3 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Wasser wunderschön und glasklar. Wir alle (9) möchten uns herzlichst für die Gastfreundschaft bedanken und können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Liebe Grüße von den Hochzeits Urlaubern.

Everything was fabulous! Everything in the house was perfect and the outside area was beautiful and accommodating. Very relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer. We were a family of five and the spaciousness of the house and all the amenities provided were perfect. Vasilis and his brothers were perfect hosts and served us a wonderful welcome dinner . Yum. Wow what an amazing find! Vasilis provided first class customer service throughout the whole process from our first enquiry to meeting us on departure and sorting numerous taxis for us. Very responsive and helpful tips before our stay. The villa is spotlessly clean, it's split into two separate apartments which is great for large family groups or friends. The grounds are well manicured and spacious. We loved the pool area and outdoor barbecue. Vasilis provided an authentic Greek meal on our arrival and a stocked fridge which is a first for us and was truly appreciated. The local village is a 10 minute walk, there are a small number of taxis locally to get you around if you don't want to hire a car. Very reasonable to eat out locally. Thank you Vasilis for being a top class host, you are ausome!!

Six of us (all adults) stayed for a fortnight in this beautiful villa. Vassillis was marvellous and helped us all so much, especially when one of our party needed medical treatment. The food that was left for our first night was AMAZING. Beer and wine in the fridge and all the essentials needed to start a great holiday. Also the lunch we had at the family taverna was also great, one of the best meals we had the whole holiday. The villa itself is great, we used the garden kitchen most of the time (a hob there would be really useful). The tomatoes and peppers from the garden were beautiful. We would definitely return and would recommend it 100%.

We loved the place, location and an awesome dinner that the owner left us for our first night. We actually got 2 dinners out of it because it would feed 12 people

The owner contact person is extremely nice and always took great care of us. He was always open for any questions, providing help and great recommendations. The house is perfectly equipped with everything so that we could relax and enjoy. Great place to explore Messinia, which is very rich in culture, nature activities (hiking, cycling, swimming, boating), beautiful villages, and most of all extremely friendly people! We can fully recommend it.

Wir haben gerade zu elft eine wundervolle Woche im Friends and Family House in Petalidi verbracht. Vasilis, der Vermieter, ist sehr sympathisch, unglaublich hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Begrüßt wurden wir mit einem sehr leckeren Abendessen, das für uns bereit stand. Außerdem war der Kühlschrank gefüllt mit allem, was man für das nächste Frühstück braucht. Das Haus hat 2 separate Wohnungen, jeweils gut ausgestattet und zusätzlich noch eine Außenküche und Außendusche. Alles ist wunderbar sauber. Handtücher gibt es sehr viele, sowohl zum Duschen, als auch für den Pool. Es ist wirklich für alles gesorgt und an alles gedacht. Die Ausstattung mit Haushaltsgegenständen ist perfekt. Vom Sandwichmaker, über die Mikrowelle bis zur Zitruspresse ist alles vorhanden. Außerdem noch 3 Geschirrspülmaschinen und 2 Waschmaschinen. Das Meer ist ca. 50 Meter entfernt, der Strand dort allerdings nicht ganz so schön. In der Umgebung gibt es aber ein paar schöne Strände, die Vasilis uns empfohlen hat. Wie schon erwähnt, ist Vasilis sehr bemüht um seine Gäste. Er ist immer erreichbar und konnte uns immer sofort weiterhelfen. Als einer unserer Freunde einen Arzt brauchte, hat er ihn sogar hingefahren und vor Ort übersetzt. Ein Highlight war auch unser Abendessen im „O Platanos“. Eine kleine, ursprüngliche Taverne in den Bergen, die von Vasilis Familie betrieben wird und von der das „welcome dinner“ am ersten Abend stammte. Sehr zu empfehlen. Alles in Allem eine perfekte, wunderschöne Unterkunft! We just had an amazing week in the Friends and Family house in Petalidi with a group of eleven people. Vasilis, the host is an incredibly hospitable and helpful guy. On the day of our arrival a very fancy dinner was already set for us on the table. On top of that, the fridge was filled with everything one could ask for as the next breakfast . The house consists oft two separate apartments, each of them perfectly equipped and also with a shower and an additional barbecue kitchen . Everything was perfectly cleaned up. There are plenty of towels available either for showering and for drying of after having used the beautiful pool. All we needed was provided and catered for. Even a sandwichmaker, a microwaver, a citrus juicer as well as 3 dishwashers and 2 washing machines are available to the guests. It' s a distance of approx. 50 meter to the sea. However this beach is not that beautiful. Thankfully there are a few other very enjoyable beaches around the area, that we visited

Wir waren in diesem Domizil für 2 Wochen 12 Personen im Urlaub. Dieses Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Vermieter ist sehr Freundlich und steht bei Anliegen sofort zur Seite. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt , zudem ist es bei Antritt schon mit diversen Essen und weitere eingedeckt. Ich würde das jedem empfehlen und auch selber mieten. Ich bedanke mich nochmals auf diesem Weg. Fantastic property with a marvellous host, Vasilis. Always willing to help but totally non-intrusive, The welcome meal was so good we went to the taverna it came from later in the week and were not disappointed. The vegetables in the garden were delicious and in abundance, The two cycles provided were useful for shopping trips. Fresh fish from the village on the barbecue were superb! We had a wonderful, chilled out time. There were four of us including a teenage boy who is asking to go again soon! I cannot think of anything that was wrong -it was all brilliant. Wir waren angenehm überrascht über das schöne und gepflegte Feriendomizil. Die vorhandenen Einrichtungen und die Aussenanlagen mit Pool waren einfach phantastisch. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass wir nach langer Anreise ein Abendessen vorfanden. Das war wirklich entspannend.

We had a wonderful holiday at Friends and Family House on October. Although there were 12 people in our group, we had enough space and peace for all. House has two apartments, so it was good for us. Pools were clean and everything was in good condition. Owner keeps everything in in good shape, also guests. For example, we had a nice welcome dinner and enough food for next breakfast. We swam in the sea every morning and visited Petalidi village which has good services. Thank you Vasilis!

Just arrived back home from a fantastic weeks stay at this gorgeous property - Vasilis the owner is without doubt the best host I have ever experienced - the perfect blend of helpful without being ever present - he's simply a phonecall or a text away if needed. The chances are though once you have found your bearings then you'll need for nothing - The house has everything - superbly equipped through-out. Great for one big family or 2 separate families as each level of the house is fully self contained with its own sitting room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one with ensuite) and a family bathroom and all wonderfully clean. Outside is perfect - another kitchen for preparing drinks and food for the massive BBQ (buy some lamb chops from the butchers in town - very good) with a separate shower/toilet room by the pool area to save you going inside. 2 pools perfect for the adults and the little ones (we had a 2 year old in our party) - with seating area's that make the most of the sun and indeed the shady areas to cool off - all sourrounded by lovely gardens and a vegetable plot growing tomatoes, onions and aubergines for you to enjoy. If you want a relaxing holiday and to unwind then this is the place - you need to venture out if you don't want to. If you do then the village of Petalidi is a 10-15 min stroll away or a very short hop in a taxi (3 euro's) with a taxi rank in the village for your return... Its a charming village to, with plenty of restaurants, most of which centre around the square which comes alive with Greek families in the evenings. 50 Metres from the house is a pebble beach, great for an afternoon dip in the Med..... Not that we ventured away from the house much as it had all we needed to be able to soak up the sun and relax. Thanks again Vasilis we had a fantastic holiday......... Oh forgot too - he even has 2 bikes at the property, so if like us, you didn't hire a car (we got there by private transfer) these are perfect for those quick dashes for more beer/water from the supermarket...... Like I said.... you'll be hard pushed to find something you need at the house that Vasilis hasn't thought about.

Vassilis est un hôte très généreux et chaleureux. Il nous a parfaitement accueilli dans une villa équipée au mieux, très spacieuse et agréable à vivre, même à 12. Tout le confort est là, tout est quasi neuf. Le barbecue est un vrai plus pour manger dehors auprès de la piscine. On se sent bien dans cet espace, malgré la route qui n'est pas loin. Son accueil est vraiment remarquable, d'une vraie générosité. Encore merci

My Family of 5 Adults and 2 children aged 3 and 1 have just returned from a 9 night stay at this amazing villa. From the first time I contacted Vasilis until the time we left the service we have received has been first class with prompt replies to all my queries and always on hand for any little questions we had during our stay. The villa itself is perfect for a family holiday with 2 separate units of accommodation which would also work wonderfully for 2 groups of friends travelling together. There are 2 double bedrooms on each floor and 2 bathrooms ,both floors have a fully fitted kitchen with dishwashers and a lovely lounge area with TV and a games counsel , there are also 2 washing machines . The villa was spotlessly clean. Downstairs there is also a separate outside kitchen with fridge/freezer and a dishwasher which is very useful when using the BBQ outside or for just making a snack. There is also a toilet and shower outside ideal for use when around the pool area. The 2 swimming pools were fantastic and the children's pool was ideal for our 2 tots being very shallow which meant they could get in and out as they please. The area outside is amazing and so well thought out it even had a small picnic type table that the 2 children could sit at by themselves to eat if they wanted too. There is a swing and slide also which our children loved in the beautiful gardens. It was lovely that there were toys and inflatable items for the pool for the children to play with and they had hours of fun soaking each other and everyone else with the water pistol. There is a vegetable plot from which you can pick anything that is ready and we enjoyed it all especially the most delicious cucumbers I have ever tasted, I bought one home, naughty I know!! The views of the sea and mountains from the villa are truly stunning. I would sincerely like to thank Vasilis, Hristos and George for their wonderful hospitality, you guys are amazing. I have to report that our 1 year old Daisy seems to have a little crush on you George as she keeps talking about you, it followed the night when we came to your beautiful taverna and you gave her a spoon then gave you a kiss when we left and she is normally very shy!!! Vasilis did a tremendous job of making us feel welcome. We arrived to a fridge with all the essentials stocked and two trays of food for lunch. The house was perfect for our needs - spacious, plenty of beds, very clean, good internet connection. We didn't make use of the pool, but the outside space was great. The town of Petalidi is a short walk away with a villagey feel and a couple of bars and restaurants. Everyone was very friendly. In short, highly recommend staying here.

A perfect venue for a relaxing holiday. The owners made us feel very welcome and were friendly and very responsive and helpful in addressing any questions we had. A delicious meal on arrival, was very much appreciated. The villa is very spacious and extremely well equipped. It is laid out as two self contained apartments but also includes an additional kitchen close to the bbq patio area which our group of 6 ( 3 couples ) prefered to use to prepare meals together. The property is located on the outskirts of Petalidi but is only a 15 min stroll ( turn left out of the main gate ) through the quiet bougainvillea and oleander lined side roads to the town where you can find bakeries, a butcher, fishmongers selling their daily catch, 3 very well stocked supermarkets, as well as many cafes / bars ( no need to drive to the large, well known chain supermarkets in Messene ) - not to mention the fresh veg you can pick from the villa's own veg patch. The large garden has comfortable seating and dining areas with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. The pebbly beach across the road is quiet ( we recommend taking water shoes to make getting in and out of the water easier ). Overall, highly recommended
