Disappointing

Very nice hotel and staff was very friendly.

Walls were very thin so me and my friend heard the person in the next room throughout the night banging doors, talking etc

Great value for money

Hotel is lovely and clean , room was for 3 adults and was excellent, Kitchen facilities were fine , plenty of choice of continental breakfast Would definitely use again

Following an awesome wedding, and blazing row with the wife, I booked (again) into the Windsor. The bar has a great selection of drinks and the staff have good patter. Great value for money and will no doubt be back at some point. Kudos to the housekeeping who were very understanding when I explained I’d ruined the bed sheets regurgitating the beer and red wine from the previous night. Rooms are spacious, recently re-decorated and very clean. No doubt see you guys soon!

No meals, bar very noisy but friendly, no chair in room.

No reception just the bar staff, no one there on checking out. The room is situated right above the bar with very loud music playing. Couldn't sleep until the small hours.

Basic but very good value for money. Bar downstairs is spot on and staff were really helpful

Noisy. This was mainly down to a room of guests who were shouting and fighting until 6am but there didn’t seem to be any staff available to tell about this. Little bit of noise from the bar.

The noise of heavy traffic died away by 10 pm, and I had a good quiet sleep!

No breakfast provided!!

In my room 6, there was a fairly big step up into the bathroom. On my 1st visit to the bathroom, I forgot about the step back down and tripped and fell heavily down into the bedroom. Fortunately, my head missed hitting the bed bottom board with a dangerous knob at its top, which could have knocked me unconscious - or worse. I fell face-down, and my right arm broke the fall - but was severely bruised. I am pretty old but quite fit. There needs to be some warning that there is a big step there. I would suggest as a matter of urgency that you fit a small step, right below the existing one, about half the height of the existing one, maybe about 12 inches wide. it should be in a bright colour, which would ensure guests saw it, and took care going up and down into and out of the bathroom. A simple suggestion, which might save nasty accidents, and unwanted complications!!

Disappointing

Spacious room and spacious bathroom very friendly staff and a kitchen for use by the guests

Undergarments left by previous guests behind radiator and in the wardrobe no where to hang towels no black out curtains and a loose curtain pole and a the double bed was loose and needed it’s screws tightened the manager was informed but not action was taken to rectify it

Disappointing

Comfy and clean bed. Good noise dampening. Looks nice and has a good location for area.

Wet paint around the doors, hole in the wall behind the door. The carpet still had things on it. Shower door was broken and water pressure was very low.

Not as described.

The room was clean and the shower was fantastic.

I was disappointed with the hotel as we chose it because it said it was use of the kitchen but when we got there with our shopping, it was all dusty and being renovated so not possible to use it so we had to spend more money going to a restaurant which was not what we had expected due to already having had good bought for cooking. Also the view we had was to the back of the car park to a skip. It would have been nice to put a translucent adhesive in the window so we could still get the light but not have the horrible view

Great hotel, rooms clean and tidy. Abit noisy at night time due to a techno rave downstairs, if we didn’t have the kids

The location is good.

The Bathroom Light Fitting and Extractor Fan need cleaning, there was a ripped Towel. The Bedding needs to be replaced. No food was available.
