My husband and I have stayed in many cabins throughout the states and this one blew all the others away! It was so perfect in every way and all details were thought of to make it a most enjoyable and comfortable stay. It was super clean, with the coziest bed, and amenities, especially the hot tub. But best of all was its beautiful, quiet, and natural location, complete with wildlife and a few domestic four legged visitors, whom we quickly fell in love with! The owners and their neighbors were great, offering helpful local information and insight. Highly recommend staying here, it truly felt almost like heaven!

My husband and I were looking for a remote location to leave the hustle and bustle of life behind. We found it! Every morning and evening you were guaranteed to see deer.
Listen to the bull frogs from the pond early morning and late evening. Greeted by both horses and the donkey.everything was there we needed and Dan and Barbara were extremely hospitable and let us know if we needed them they were there!
We definitely plan on going back!!! Sooner than later💕

Cabin is very clean and nicely decorated. Owners are friendly and are readily available if needed. Enjoyed mornings sitting on the porch drinking coffee and reading a book as the deer graze. Zero noise and light pollution..,tranquility!!

This is our fourth year in the Canaan Valley and our third at the Morning Glory. It's beautiful, secluded, and comfortable. It is very close to Dolly Sods, Canaan Valley State Park, and Seneca Rocks. 20+ miles to Davis and Thomas. Dan and Barb are the perfect hosts! We want to come again and again. Another plus: 60-72 degrees in the Canaan Valley while everywhere else was 90 degrees! We cannot say enough good things!

We had a wonderful time, and we plan to return. Things we most enjoyed were the peace and quiet, the excellent star gazing at night, proximity to good locations for scenery and hiking and the friendly horses. The cabin is spacious, remarkably well-appointed, and clean with all utilities in good working order. The wrap-around porch with hot tub is a great place to relax. So is inside by the wood fireplace.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Morning Glory Cabin. The cabin and surrounding area are so beautiful and peaceful and central to all of the sites we wanted to visit. We hope to return in the future because 3 night was not enough time to experience all the area has to offer!

Stunning scenery, sensational views and star filled nights made for a spectacular stay! We can’t wait to go back! Barb and Dan, the hosts, were fabulous! Canaan Valley, Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks, and Dolly Sods are all within an easy drive. The towns of Davis and Thomas were adorable and had great places to eat. Could not have wanted anything more for our stay. 🌄❤️

We spent another anniversary in this cabin and loved it. We saw snow, rain, solar eclipse and loved every minute of it. Dan and Barb are the perfect host. They are only a phone call away. The cabin is well stocked with things you may need, roght down to a pair of kitchen scissors. We definitely recommend this little cabin and will be coming back.

Such a beautiful property in a very convenient, yet private, location. Very comfy beds, and the house had every possible essential you could need, especially the hot tub! Dan and Barb are amazing hosts and I would highly recommend staying there!!

From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect for a cozy, winter cabin stay! It was everything I was hoping for, and it brought me so much joy to be there: freezing temps and snowy drifts outside, warm fire and comfy furnishings inside. Loved being in the hot tub with snow flurries!
The photos don't do it justice - the cabin is beautifully built with quality materials and the interior design is perfectly done in an upscale country style. Barbara and Dan were very attentive and immediately responsive to all our needs and questions. We will absolutely be staying here again.
The whole development around the cabin is well maintained and clean - other VRBOs we've been to will have properties close by with junk piles and rundown buildings. Not so in this area. Perfect all around!

The cabin was great. It’s clean and tidy and has everything from a dishwasher to a laundry area. The outside is just as lovely as the inside. We had an amazing time! Thanks Barb and Dan!

Everything you could want for a quiet relaxing stay. Listing was very accurate and hosts were wonderful, very accommodating. If you would happen to forget something they even suggest that you ask them before running to the store to buy it, they said "chances are they have it". We have stayed in the area many times but this cabin is probably our new favorite!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. We loved the kitchen and all the appliances. My husband cooked every night and it worked great. The fireplace and hot tub were a big hit also. I also liked the big comfy bed and slept great. I would definately go back next year for a third time!

So i booked the morning glory cabin, because of an honest mistake we ended up in the sunset cabin! Both cabins are beautiful and an equally wonderful stay. So needless to say i was happy with the sunset cabin! We were greeted with a warm welcome when we got there and throughout our stay. During our stay my girlfriend n i enjoyed the quaint towns, food and horse back riding! We look forward to making this a tradition. Thank you for everything!

Clean & well stocked Cabin. Horse friends always await you outside. Very scenic & peaceful. Thomas & Davis towns about 25 min. away along with hiking, lookout areas & waterfalls.

This was our third time staying in one of Barb and Dan’s cabins in Dryfork. All three experiences were wonderful. Lots of wildlife near the cabin to see and the cabins themselves are well-maintained and inviting to guests - all the amenities that you will ever need or that you may have forgotten packing will be in their expected places here.
This visit, my wife and I had a flat tire and Dan was kind enough to bring an air compressor and recommend a shop, Dave’s. Dan also called the shop first thing in the morning which resulted in us being able to get the tire plugged in less than 10 minutes. Without Dan’s help and recommendation, we’d likely still be waiting somewhere in WV to get our tire fixed. Can’t recommend this cabin or the hosts enough. Looking forward to a 4th stay with them sooner than later.

My brother come here every fall to enjoy colors, mountain bike, hike etc. Cabin is prefectly located along Rt 32 corridor for access to Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks and Blackwater Canyon Bike trail.
Barb and Dan have the cabin well appointed and stocked. It is clean and neat (not overly cluttered).
Hot tub a plus after hard day's hick or bike ride.
We will be back next year.

My husband and I have stayed at this cabin countless times at this point. We’ve truly lost count on our number of visits.
We try to plan at least one or two trips a year. Although, we’d love to plan more.
This cabin and surrounding areas are so special and unique. We truly feel like we’re coming home every time we pull into the driveway and we’re greeted by our animal neighbors.
Barb and Dan are exceptional hosts and will instantly make you feel like your part of their family.
As always, we can’t wait to return. ❤️

Thank you to Barb and Dan, you have an absolutely beautiful property. If you’re considering renting this VRBO, you won’t be disappointed. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. Impeccably clean, well-maintained, and everything you can ask for in one location. The neighbors were so friendly, and even stopped to wish us safe travels home as we packed our SUV. We will definitely be back. It met all of our expectations and more!

You have everything you need and a beautiful view. The cabin is amazing. You really don’t need to bring much with you. The host is very hospitable and the neighbors allow you to enjoy their horses & sweet donkey. Very clean and not far from most hiking destinations. Thanks again for a wonderful anniversary trip.

We love this cabin. It is so beautiful and peaceful. Dan and Barb are great. The visits from the horses and donkey were great. Love the hot tub and sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. We sat on the porch during a thunder storm. Enjoyed the awesomeness of God. We had a wonderful weekend. We will definitely go back.
