Thoughtful hosts, beautiful location - would definitely stay again!

Shona and Adam were wonderful hosts - the Station House is well located in town, with cafes and a couple of restaurants just down the road. The fire was lit on our arrival which was so lovely, and when we struggled with it lighting it the second night and contacted Shona, she promptly came over and started it so we were toasty warm. Adam encouraged us to visit Cradle Mountain despite the weather making us hesitant; his insight paid off and we had a wonderful day trip to Cradle thanks to his advice! The couple gave us some pointers for restaurants and cafes, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We came back to stay!

This was our 2nd stay at the Station House. I didn't even look elsewhere because the accommodation is perfect and I look forward to more hiking in the area and staying again.

Our bed was a bit noisy whenever my partner or I turned over. Like so minor. This place is great and if you're reading this, you should stay here.

overall the stay still worth the money paid.

toilet is nicely renovated and sofa is good.

Electricity keep tricking while I was using kettle and 1 heater, I have to keep going out to turn on the power again. also the bed frame is meant for king size but the mattress that in the bedroom was queen size which resulted my husband accidentally kicked the bed frame.

Beautiful accommodation. Love Sheffield. Communication with the host was great. The station house was well equipped and so cosy. Would stay again in a heartbeat ❤️

Loved the style & the 2 rooms (bed & living ) Loved the fireplace .)

Had a “homely” feel to it.

A good alternative in Sheffield.

A good option for a stay in this small town being a clean and tidy unit, Having only a microwave for heating food means that you will need to check you eating out or takeaway options. These can be limited in small towns depending on the day. The wood fire kept the apartment warm and comfortable.

Exceptional

We recently stayed at The Station House for 4 nights and had a great experience. The accommodation was very cosy and comfortable, with so many thoughtful touches that made the stay so nice. The location was perfect for day trips from here to Cradle Mountain and also the many amazing local food producers in the surrounding area. Sheffield itself is a gorgeous little town with an amazing view of Mt Roland. I highly recommend this place, was so nice to come back to after each long day of hiking/exploring/eating!

Comfy, Lovely, Easy to Locate

Station House is divided into 3 Apartments. Farmhouse-Hampton Decor. Has a small room between Apartments 1 & 2 with lots of information about the area and wine, snacks etc.. to buy ( great idea). very comfortable and lovely.

A warm, cozy cottage apartment that had everything we needed.

Charming place. Lovely ambience. Nicely located. We really had everything we needed and the little 'extras' like ground coffee, tea, sugar, salt, etc. were well thought out. The weather turned cold but the small cottage apartment had a very efficient electric heater so no problem staying cosy and warm. During the winter, the small log fireplace would have been burning and I can imagine that completing the picture of a warm, cozy cottage! Also, the owners introduced themselves and seemed friendly and efficient. I am sure if something was needed, they were only a phone call away.

property was really thoughtfully prepared, and we enjoyed our stay in Sheffield. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, comfortable, well stocked, shower was great, bed was really comfortable, soft warm dressing gowns, good standard of toiletries, lots of information.

It was so comfy and inviting. A great mini bar/info area which was a nice surprise. To sit in front of the fire place with a good book was just lovely.

A comfortable apartment with easy checkin.

The wood fire and areas to sit comfortably. Plenty of reading material/travel information.

I will prefer air con instead of electric warmer. The board which hold the mattress is too big and hurt me when I pass by.

Great clean and comfy unit. Very cosy with a wood heater and split system. Easy walking distance to the Main Street. Complimentary Port and chockies was a nice surprise! Would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Very generous breakfast supplies thank you. The location was excellent for access to the town and Mt. Roland. Very quiet in the area at night.
