Excellent facilities, large house. Lovely view. Lots of extras like an air fryer, kids toys, books, games and dvds. Very handy for families.

Beautiful house, very well kitted out and what an incredible view of Lough Currane
Nothing comes to mind, this was a lovely house in a fantastic location.

We were visiting from the US. The heating system was a bit to figure out, but not a huge detractor from the house which was nicely kitted out and comfortable and clean …. And such a lovely view!

Lough Currane Cottage is a very lovely, clean, spacious house. When we went in we were greeted by a beautiful tray with scones, butter, jam & milk on it, oh and a very yummy bar of Skellig chocolate :) and not to forget the stove which was lit.
The views were terrific and although we could not enjoy the #DarkSkiesReserve due to clouds it was still very scenic. The hosts had thought of everything, coffee machine, air fryer, electric blankets on all beds, extra blankets, and cooking utensils just to name a few. For the quiet relaxing break, we needed it was great.
It would be so easy to say there were things I didn't like, however, there was a couple and these were more down to me than the cottage and things I would've liked to know.
I have a bad back so when our dog needed walking my partner had to do this as the cottage is up quite a steep driveway which has loose stones, for most people this would not be a problem but for me it meant I couldn't join the walks. Again I found the bed a little hard and uncomfortable, my partner found it ok but I struggled.
In the picture, the house looked like it was the only one however there is another on the same drive, it was unoccupied while we were there so it meant it was lovely and peaceful.

We had an absolutely amazing holiday exploring the Ring of Kerry, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Mary and John. From the moment we arrived, they were quick to respond to all of our needs and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The bungalow was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We were also treated to stunning views from the property, which made our holiday even more special.
But the real highlight of our stay was the stray cat who kept visiting us at the bungalow. It was such a treat to have her visit us every day and she added an extra touch of warmth and charm to our holiday.
Overall, we can't thank Mary and John enough for their excellent hospitality and for making our holiday such a memorable one. We will definitely be returning to their bungalow in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in beautiful Waterville. So, it was a great pleasure for us to stay there.

Location of the house is amazing the perfect location to explore the area and pop in and out of Waterville.
The rubbish collection system at the end of your stay does not work and needs to change. You have e to drive all the rubbish to Warterville, where there are only 4 domestic style bins on the seafront to empty in to. They also have locked lids and holes that you have to hand feed bottles and cans through etc...I think it's the last thing you want to be doing when you are on holiday! And it would be a real problem if we'd stayed longer than a week...meaning you would be leaving rubbish bags in the carpark on the sea front. This needs to be sorted by the owners.

Very clean, well equipped, has everything
you could possibly need. Nice surprise when
we arrived to find scones waiting for us.
best of all was the amazing view. by the way
if you find yourself up late at night, go outside
and enjoy the view of the stars. The sky was
so dark i could not believe what was up there.
The only small improvement I would suggest
would be more comfortable mattresses as
we found them to be very firm and for
us a little uncomfortable,
but we appreciate this is a as matter of
personal taste.

The Lough Currane and Mr. and Mrs. Fenton were AMAZING!! The cottage is so nice and clean upon arrival. The cottage sits on some of the most spectacular and breath taking view on the Ring of Kerry. It is about 10 minutes walk from Waterville. We were originally worried that Oil and electricity would cost a fortune, but it was incredibly affordable, so if you rent this cottage do not worry about the utilities as we paid under 40 euros for 5 people and 12 days of electricity usage. Additionally, the grocery store in Waterville (there are two by the way) is super expensive. Imagine paying 3 euros for a candy bar... so Lidl is about an 1 hour and 13 minutes away and well worth the trip. You will be driving on the Ring of Kerry the entire time and will pass so many beautiful sights. This cottage is well worth the cost!
