Whether you're searching for summer water sports or winter ice-fishing, you'll find a welcoming home amid cathedral ceilings, new furnishings, and a gas fireplace with a towering stone facade. We absolutely loved our visit to this house. The location is really nice, quiet and secluded. It is also not far from greenville. The house is really great. The dock is really nice and we very much enjoyed it. Our family loved the moose head over the mantle, it really tied the whole vibe of a log home together. The only thing that i would mention is that if you are planning on bringing your atvs, you are not allowed to drive the atvs through the streets of this neighborhood to get to the atv trails. This really stinks but we made it work by trailing our atvs to the town where there is an overflow lot to park in. All in all, we had a great experience and loved the house!

It was a spacious house, tucked away and quite private, in a wooded area. Access to Moosehead Lake was awesome with the pier and dock.

We really liked the access to the lake and the space of the house for our gear. This was our second time renting and will likely be back.

The house was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The coffee pot was broken and we contacted Vacasa but got no help at all. We bought our own coffee pot. The grounds needed to be cut back all over grown. The house was very sparsely supplied not enough toilet paper, paper towels, no tissues, not enough soap and pantry supplies. Had to put the trash in the basement a raccoon keep getting in to it. Also a chipmunk could get under the screen door. We will stay again as the dock was great, very close to Greenville.

Our group of 6 absolutely loves our stay. A magical view, sheltered cove for perfect swimming conditions and only 15 minutes out of town. There were even a number of inflatables for our use and two kayaks. A wonderful vacation spot!

This is a lovely home on Moosehead Lake, but it requires some maintenance and better support from local Vacasa staff. *Lockbox.* On arrival the lockbox was frozen shut. We thawed it out with our handwarmers, only to find that the code we were provided did not work. We reported this to Vacasa, who stated they were sending someone. No one came, but after 1.5 hours waiting outside in the cold we got a phone call with a new code that worked. We spent a lovely evening settling in around the gas fireplace. *Gas fireplace.* However, by late the next afternoon, the gas fireplace had gone out. We contacted Vacasa, noting that we suspected the gas tank was empty. Later we sent a photo of the dial showing an empty tank. Vacasa insisted that the gas people had just filled the tank. Apparently they had filled the heating oil but not the propane tank. Vacasa noted that the stove was tricky and talked us through re-lighting the stove. It stayed on just a minute or two and then went out again. Two days later the gas service refilled the tank, noting the tank had been empty. We were still unable to light the stove, nor could a maintenance man. We all smelled gas and decided it was better to leave the stove off. *Water leak.* Because of the recent heavy snow, an ice dam formed on the roof, causing a leak inside the window in the dining area. We sent a picture to Vacasa, noting the steady stream of water which was dripping onto an electrical socket and onto the room heater. The maintenance man turned off the circuits to both these items to prevent a possible fire. *Guidebook.* There was no house guide available. It took us awhile to puzzle out the gas fireplace and the TV system. *Supplies.* There was one garbage bag left for us, 4 dishwasher tablets for a 6-day stay, and inadequate toilet paper and paper towels - necessitating our purchase of all these items except garbage bags. We have stayed with Vacasa a number of times and are used to a very good and relaxing experience. This was not Vacasa's finest hour. We appreciate the local staff's offer of a $100 LOA payment and 10% off our next booking. But we wanted to share this detailed account publicly to ensure that the problems are addressed and the next renters do not encounter the same surprises.
