Good location and individual beds for 7 guys.

This is a large, log cabin situated about 8 minutes off the main highway. (the last minute is on gravel with a few shallow pot holes)
The cabin is fairly secluded in a quiet neighborhood with houses and woods. The path to the river is across from the house (it is a 1 minute walk to the river with 4 chairs, a hammock and a swinging chair along the path to use) The river is shallow, slow moving and cold! Beautiful spot to hang out!
The cabin has 3 bedrooms and two sitting rooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and a big outdoor area to sit with tables and chairs! There are also 3 bathrooms, so there is lots of space! There are lots of pots, pans, spices, utensils, puzzles, games, TV,Netflix and a few DVDs.
The kids’ room has some toys, and two bunk beds. Two rooms (bunk beds and queen bed room) upstairs and 1 bathroom. 1 large king bed/bedroom downstairs with a bathroom attached and 1 bathroom next to washer/dryer.
Corn hole bean bag game outside was fun! Lots of grass for dog to walk around and a nice path down to the river where my dog loved to go to cool off.
Very close to the town of Welches with a grocery store, restaurants, library, gas station, bike rental shop, etc. Golf nearby as well. We enjoyed being only 15 minutes to Government camp where there are many hikes and biking. Timberline Lodge at Mt. Hood is 20 minutes away and a great place for a scenic chairlift ride and hiking /mountain biking.
Hood river is a little over an hour away and a great place for river rafting, fishing and rail biking! Also, the fruit loop with wineries and orchards is 50 minutes away in the way to Hood River ( a nice little town with many coffee shops, restaurants, and tap rooms)
Trillium Lake also 30 minutes away and has an easy loop trail, swimming and kayak rentals!
A great place to stay close to the mountains with lots to do!!!

The cabin itself is very nice with three bedrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs. Everything was very clean and enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again. Be sure to get good directions as the last half mile to get to the cabin is a bit confusing.

Heat did t work and I was told to keep adding wood to keep house warm as if I was just hired to keep the home warm. How can somebody expect to keep throwing wood every hour(not sleep?) to keep maintaining temp. Overall I will warn people selecting this property that property is good but worst ever experience with owner and property Mgmt!

The house was clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, spices, linens, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable. The cabin is exactly as described and pictured. The cathedral windows provide magnificent views of the trees, and we saw deer from the deck both mornings. There were a few minor inconveniences that we have notified Vacasa about, but they would NOT keep us from staying here again. We loved the cabin!
6.0 / 10.0
While the interior of the cabin was well kept. The outside seems to lack upkeep. It looks like it may be under construction, but the curb appeal could have been better. It would be nice if the trash can was emptied after each check out and locked as we arrived to find the driveway covered in trash from maybe an animal. The cabin is near the salmon river, however the location of other houses around left little privacy. The air conditioning system is set for energy efficiency however at night the home was very uncomfortable and hot. Also this home is managed by vacasa to avoid additional fees go directly to there site. I called about an early check in but the rep never texted back as he promised customer service wasn’t great on this end.

Spacious and inspiring views of the forest, quick walk to the river, kids loved the open living room space and bunk room. Great place for making meals and memories together. Baby slept well in a darkened room and we all kept cool during a heat wave with the cool vent system.

Perfect Stay in the Wood
Our family had a wonderful, short visit at the cabin. Day one was full of playing board games, sitting by the fire and eating s'mores. Day two was sno-park day. We went to White River West Sno-Park on a Monday and had the entire place practically to ourselves, which meant lots and lots of sledding.

Snowy Holiday
We had a magical snowy holiday the week after Christmas at this amazing log cabin. Our 5 kids ages 11-20 all had a great time indoors and out and having internet big bonus with them. Plenty of room for all of us. We went to the Mt Hood sledding hill and had the best time! Will be back for sure.

Charming, clean and comfy! We had a terrific family vacation at Edgewood. Terrific location to explore the Mt. Hood area. Located right on the Salmon River with a fun path to the water. The cabin is well appointed and accommodated our party of 8 perfectly. Kitchen was well stocked and the back deck under the trees is magical. Loved it!

Cozy well-appointed cabin
This property is peaceful with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Also close to groceries and town. We enjoyed the yard games, splashing our toes in the river, and listening to the breeze in the trees from the porch. Kids loved the games and bunk bed room.

On the floor, under the stairs, in our sheets! The previous visitors obviously brought a white-haired dog into the cabin where it shed all over the place. We specifically picked this cabin because it says "no pets". Our daughter is allergic. The cabin was not thoroughly cleaned. We did our best to tidy-up and found other issues: a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom, an opened chicken package in the freezer, and a dirty microwave to name a few. It made me wonder if it had been cleaned at all.
To Vacasas' credit, they were very apologetic, and gave me a $200 credit.
The cabin is beautiful otherwise. Not necessarily "quiet" because there was some construction workers with a backhoe knocking trees down nearby. But secluded. Lots to do -- nature trails, etc. Large living space. Fast internet. Barely in cell range; I went up to the 2nd floor if I had to make any phone calls.
It would have been 5 stars except the lack of cleanliness.

Idealic Log Cabin in the Woods
Our 21st Birthday Girl requested a cabin in the woods away from crowds with mountain views. Edgewood checked all the boxes-and then some! The wrap around deck with swing & sunroom were well used. There’s plenty of outdoor & indoor sitting areas to choose from. We took the short walk to the river & played corn hole. We thoroughly enjoyed the views & listening to the river & variety of birds on the property. This log cabin was very clean, well cared for, beautifully decorated, warm & cozy, fully stocked & has plenty of room for 8! We hope to go back some day.
Ps: The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for location is the difficulty in finding the correct address once over the bridge. Otherwise, the neighborhood was helpful, friendly & quiet in a lovely setting.

Woodsy retreat
We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, property, close to grocery store & dining. Several outdoor spaces that can be enjoyed. Had exactly what we needed. 2 small downfalls, the bunk beds were not comfy and the wood pellet stove was not working

Great, clean cabin. One big disappointment was the TV, we tried everything and could never get it to work. We had not been together for a long time due to Covid, we wanted to watch our videos of our skiing and were unable to do so. We would suggest leaving instructions for guests.Just an FYI the potholes to get to the cabin are pretty substantial, be careful! The neighbor next door had a power washer obsession, he pulled out his power washer (and leaf blower) EVERY single day for 4 days that we were there, it made it impossible to sit on the deck and chat with his noise. Other than that, the cabin was very clean and beautiful.

Tranquil Stay in the Woods
Edgewood was very comfortable and well-appointed. The wood-burning stove was cozy and a great spot to roast marshmallows. The location is perfect for a myriad of mountain activities. We especially enjoyed a visit to the White River West Sno-Park. (Parking passes for the Sno-Parks are available at the local Thriftway.)

Great cabin. Had to wait for cleaning person to finish before we were able to check in. Since check out is so early 10am would think should be cleaned way before check in time at 4pm. Had to call because there were no pellets for stove.

Fun Girls Trip
We had a great weekend spending quality time together. The location was wonderful, and our hike to Little Zig Zag Falls was perfect! My only complaint of the property was that the oven was so dirty we couldn’t use it to cook. Other than that it was the perfect getaway for us!

This is quick, short and easy. This place was beautiful. Came stocked with everything you need! We ran out of pellets for the pellet stove and they brought some over for us! Would 1000% stay again.

Peaceful and Beautiful
This was a very peaceful and beautiful location. The house has a great deck overlooking the woods. Everything was comfortable, and it was easy to cook our own meals. A 5-minute walk to get to a great hiking trail, and a 1-minute walk to get to the river. The only downside was low-bandwidth and flaky internet service. But that was a minor problem -- we'll come back again if we have the chance!

Wonderful property; Will avoid Vacasa in the future
Woodsy log cabin in the forest was just what we were looking for. But we arrived and furnace was not working. Sat on hold with Vacasa for over an hour - no answer. The temps got down to the 40s. Found some space heaters to use instead. Wont use Vacasa again.
