Beautiful views - Great host
10.0
We just returned from Montepertuso where we stayed at il Monticello. It’s a beautiful village up the mountain from Positano. It’s a short bus ride, taxi or a 1000+ stone step pathway to get there. We only walked down lol. We were greeted by the host & hostess and welcomed us into our apartment. There was quiet a few steps down but our luggage was brought up and down on a lift. Beautiful flowers, grapes growing overhead & lots of areas to relax after a busy day. The place was well equipped and spotless! The view was breathtaking during the day or night. There was a selection of beverages that we could purchase which was really convenient. We had our own balcony, a outdoor dinning area and a shared area which was alway available. The local market was a 5 minute walk away where we purchased wine, cheese and anything else we needed. We ate dinner 2 nights at Il Ritrovo the food and service was excellent. The location was so peaceful and it was nice to be out of the city center. We would highly recommend these accommodations!

Beautiful views and host was very accommodating. We would stay again! Lots of stairs, but we actually enjoyed that too.

Great owners and easy check in!
This place was perfect for the number of people that I traveled with. The check-in was easy and so smooth, even though we arrived later. We also ordered breakfast from them and they were so cute and even brought my friend a little cake for her birthday! The only problem is the location. There are lots of steps to get down, but there is a bus station super close if you are able to make it! Overall, great stay.

Breathtaking Positano
We were delighted with Villa Terry. It was just like the pictures show with breathtaking views of the town and sea. Terresa, our host was great and very accommodating explaining to us everything we needed to know. The local restaurant Il Ritovo was excellent and they treated us like family. The spaces outside at the condo were great and very private. The bus was easy to get to and from town but we also used the stairs to get down to town. Not an easy walk but we actually loved it.
All in all a great stay and we would stay there again.

Would pick this apartment all over again!
This place was the best! The location can’t be beat because it’s away from the bustle of Positano and the village of Montepertuso is so sweet with a nice market and excellent restaurants within walking distance. The steps down to Positano are convenient, great exercise and offer beautiful views. We think it’s better than the Path of the Gods. Teresa was always available to help us but the privacy of the unit is great for relaxing. The view of Positano from the balcony is as advertised, amazing!! The family dog Cooper is sweet and available for snuggles, which was great for me because I always miss my pups when we’re on vacation. Our 10 days at this apartment was perfect and we would do it all over again!

Lovely views and location
The property has lovely views on Positano and it is a great location if you want to walk the ‘path of the gods ‘. Clean kitchen, washing machine, coffee maker made our trip as a family enjoyable. A great selection of wine for purchase is also provided.

Quiet, relaxing, great views...
We had a wonderful three night stay at Casa Terry. Raffaele and Teresa were great hosts and were very helpful anytime we needed anything or had any questions. Positano is a beautiful place and the views overlooking it from the cliffs the apartment is situated on are amazing. We enjoyed being able to relax in a quiet setting away from the busyness of Positano. The small village of Montepertuso, a short walk up the hill, has a few nice restaurants and a family owned market. Getting down to Positano by bus is easy with the stop being very close to the apartment.
We highly recommend Casa Terry and would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay in Positano
We loved our stay at Casa Terry. It was in the perfect location overlooking the town of Positano. We enjoyed being above the city, not right down in it. The views from Casa Terry were amazing, and the town of Positano was an easy bus ride (the bus came once an hour to a stop just past the driveway) or down the approximately 1500 stairs. We walked down multiple times, but always took the bus up. :-) Relaxing on our private deck with a glass of wine made from grapes grown on the property was the perfect way to end a day. Raffaele and Teresa took great care of us, and answered any questions that we had about the property or how to get around Amalfi. They were wonderful hosts.
There are a few great restaurants and a mini-mart with lots of food choices (and bus tickets) a short walk (5-10 minutes) away in the town of Montepertuso. We also took the bus all the way to the end to Nocelle one day and walked the Path of the Gods. Far and away the most beautiful hike we've ever been on. A definite must if the weather is nice.
We would go back to Positano in a heart beat. It was amazing, and you can't go wrong with Casa Terry. We loved it!

Breathtaking Views!!
We recently had the great pleasure of staying at Casa Terry in the breathtaking upper hills of Positano. Casa Terry was ideal for our family of 4. Our teenage boys each had their own bed and separate room while my husband and I had the master bedroom down the hall. Casa Terry was very clean, inviting, comfortable and the views were breathtaking!! We ended up eating in a couple nights just so we could take it the views and relax on their beautiful property. Teresa and Raffaele were outstanding hosts on top of it all! They helped us make various reservations and gave us great tips and suggestions for our stay. I will forever remember our stay at Casa Terry, and gorgeous Positano!! I highly recommend Casa Terry!!
As Steinbeck wrote, "it (Positano) is a dream place that isn't quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone."

A beautiful, relaxing place
Had a great 3 days in this apartment. Very secluded (but note there are a few apartments in the complex) and the views are spectacular. The apartment is spacious and well appointed, and the hosts are brilliant: friendly, helpful, responsive and unobtrusive. Note it’s not in Positano itself

Spectacular views and authentic, mellow hilltop village
We really enjoyed our 10-day stay and loved the views from all 3 balconies (very well furnished and landscaped), where we spent most of our time when at the property. It's worth staying there for the view alone, with plenty of space for a family to chill out and dine. The rooms were all clean and furnished to a high standard. Teresa was very welcoming, spoke excellent English and was easily available to give tourist information. For example, she let us know about the firework display at mld-night 15th August, which was the most spectacular we had ever seen, and that a music event in Nocelle had been postponed. Getting into Positano is an adventure in peak season as even the steps down are quite challenging and the bus gets very full. We enjoyed taking the steps as we got very fit but our teenage kids would have preferred an easier location. Tip for the return bus in peak season, walk up one stop earlier from the main stop in Positano to ensure you get on. You'll even get a seat. We felt it was worth the extra effort to experience being up so high in an authentic village but it did take time to get up and down to Positano. One of my favourite things was walking along the path to the local shop every morning to get fresh bread - great village shop. We didn't do quite as much in the local area as we had intended to due to the twisty roads and impossible parking but enjoyed; Il Fournillo beach with the beach restaurants and kayaking; Laurito beach; the walk to the hole above Montepertuso; Path of the Gods and Nocelle; Pompeii; Il Ritrovo and La Tagliata restaurants in Montepertuso. My husband and I would love to return to the area for a few days without kids and out of peak season to do boat trips (expensive for a family of 5), more hiking, visit Herculaneum and walk to the crater of Mount Vesuvius. Overall, I would recommend this property if you are looking for something a little different. Teresa, her family, and Cooper the dog will ensure you have a wonderful time.

Fab apartment
Our family of 4 adults thoroughly enjoyed our time in this apartment. Teresa and family were very welcoming and we found the flat well equipped and comfortable. We all loved the fantastic views and spent many hours on the private and shared balconies. Location suited us well as we had a hire car (driving is an experience!) and also enjoyed the walk up to the local shop and restaurants in Montepurtuso or down the many steps into Positano (and bus back up). Thank you Rafaele and Teresa for a great stay!

Gorgeous views
We stayed at this beautiful property for 6 nights and loved it. The views from the terrace were spectacular. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck and brought takeout back a few nights for dinner
because the sights here were better than any restaurant.
Teresa and Raffael were perfect hosts. They were very welcoming and helped us plan our stay. The apartment was spotless and was very well equipped with everything we needed. Raffael and Teresa live close by so they were always available when needed.
There was a quaint little market about a 5 minute walk which was convenient. Some very nice restaurants also nearby.
Lots of things to do in the area. There is a bus stop conveniently located just up the street. The Path of Gods was a spectacular hike, which is also nearby that you can walk to. We took a lovely boat cruise up the coast which is a must do. Only a few minutes by bus to get down to Positano. Positano is an intriguing place to explore but we always found it a relief to retreat back to Casa Terry, away from the hustle and bustle and craziness of Positano.
We had an awesome holiday and would highly recommend this property. Thank you Teresa and Raffael you were very helpful in making our stay very comfortable.

Incredible Views
The views from this apartment are wonderful, the owners helped with our luggage as there were many stairs, that is about as far as I can go with positive feedback. The apartment had no essentials, we stayed a week and were given 2 rolls paper for the bathroom, we had to ask for more and it was like a big deal. We asked for paper towels or napkins and they were never provided. The apartment had mold in the corners and smelled of mildew. There was a storage closet in the 'master' bedroom and I was sorry I opened it, the smell of mildew was overpowering. The sheets were so old and were probably originally a 200TC and were very pilly from age and use. The towels were terrible also. The little town of Montepertuso is not far; so a walk to the local market where the fruit and food is so fresh is pleasant. The bus from Positano to come up the mountain is crowded but the stop is convenient to the apartment. There is so much to keep you busy in the area, that you really only need a place to sleep, shower, and see the views. One out of three isn't good enough for me!

Comfortable with agreat view
The apartment was way up the hill in a town called Montepertuso. It is not in the town of Positano. However, once we learned to use the bus we had a great time and very much enjoyed our stay.

Quiet, Picturesque, Unforgettable
Finding the right place is tough. I spend countless hours pouring over the various guest houses on the Amalfi Coast. We found the right place. Here are a few of the chief advantages of this place. We visited in early May, so the full tourism season was not in full swing yet. Even still, Positano is bustling. The city has an air of excitement and possibility. This place offers easy access to the city, but with a quiet abode overlooking Positano and the water. The furnishings on the inside are simple and clean. We cooked meals in their kitchen, walking 5 minutes down the road to the city center of Montepertuso, the cutest little thing you ever saw, to buy groceries. Montepertuso also has a couple of excellent restaurants and easy access to the Path of the Gods in neighboring town Nocelle. The patios are amazing. For me, the place offered the best of both worlds; a quiet, relaxing place with close proximity to all attractions. We came to the area with the pretense of visiting Positano. In 3 1/2 days, we ended up only spending one day down in the city. Montepertuso and the abode were so charming we had a tough time leaving.

Vista magnificat

Spectacular view in great apartment!
The apartment was perfect! Amazing view of Positano and the Amalfi coast. Close to the little village of Montepertuso which was not as touristy and offered fine dining. We liked our apartment so much that we did take away and brought it "home" to eat on our terrace overlooking the magnificent view!
Very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, everything we needed was there! The owner was so welcoming and lives in one of the other apartments so it's very convenient if you need something. He picked tomatoes, fresh Basilic and a few fruits from his garden and gave it to us. So nice of him :) He mentioned that next year he plans to have a lift for the luggage and an inground pool on the roof.
Parking space was easy to get to and safe. Highly recommend this great little find!

vacanze a positano
Abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento in cinque, è in una posizione con una vista bellissima, pulito e attrezzato di tutto. Il proprietario molto cordiale e disponibile. All'arrivo ci ha fatto assaggiare i suoi pomodori..buonissimi.

I have traveled a lot in ...
I have traveled a lot in Italy and this apartment one of the cleanest and best equipped (in this price category). It can offer maybe the best views to city and seaside from hills.
Owner was very helpful and friendly from very beginning to departure. I got every information I asked by email. For example wifi was fast and hiking routes around Positano were easy to reach from this property.
Pictures taken from this flat and discussion with Raffaele were main reason who we chose the flat. There is excellent restaurants nearby, city center is easy reach by foot or bus.

"Raffaele was an excellent host and his family were all very helpful. The apartment is very well equipped and in a superb location with wonderful views from the balcony. The air conditioning is ideal in the daytime heat though the apartment is sheltered from direct sun from mid evening. The regular bus to Positano stops just 150 metres away, the shops are a short walk and a well stocked, inexpensive and friendly. An excellent base from which to explore the area by bus and boat. There is even a very useful taxi service provided very close by if needed. I would recommend Raffaele's apartment wholeheartedly."
