Eastwatch is in a fantastic position - almost on the beach. Our room was lovely. The guest kitchen is fantastic. We had free tea, coffee and breakfast for the whole of our stay.
Nothing. It's perfect - don't change anything!

The views are wonderful. It was clean tidy and the bed was comfortable. The owner was very helpful. Loved the hot tub. My partner reckons it's the best hot tub she's ever been in and she's been loads.
We would have liked tea and coffee facilities in our room.

Very relaxing place to stay with plenty of facilities and nice clean guests kitchen , right next to the beach and in a quiet area , local bus every half hour less than two minute walk away takes you right to centre of Berwick-upon-Tweed, very cheap for an all day ticket.

A lovely stay at this beautiful house. Self catering but breakfast was a nice touch. Sea view from our room. We were made to feel very welcome, and throughly enjoyed our stay

Nothing not to dislike about staying here at all and just wish we could have stayed longer to fully appreciate the facilities. Host was very friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome. Lovely place to stay and location is great for walking and right by the sea.

Me and my son went for a bike trip in Berwick, we stayed in this place because was close to the beach. I imagine it would have been lovely if it was summer, but we still enjoyed the beach although it was quite cold in October; that is why after a cold bike ride, we loved the hot Jacuzzi in the property outside area. The house has a very pleasant outline and furnishing, room very cosy, bathroom very comfortable. Shared kitchen so useful to warm you own meal, breakfast supply were provided. Good also or families and groups. The landlord was great, thank you!
Everything was great. Location was not in town, but 10 mins on a cheap local bus.

This is a fabulous place to stay, within walking distance of Berwick-upon-Tweed centre. The accommodation is clean, stylish and very comfortable. The use of a kitchen is very practical and basics like bread, eggs, cereal etc offered is an unexpected bonus. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Comfortable bedroom and great facilities - a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast items available, in addition to a pool, sauna and hot tub. The property is in a great location, overlooking the sea and close to local bus routes. Everything has been thought of to make a stay special and Paul is very helpful.
Nothing.

The whole guesthouse was very stylish, well done and well thought out. It was right on spittal beach also, had fantastic views. The pool was a.big hit with my granddaughter she loved it. The pool cover was a bit of a struggle to get on and off, with my disabilities!
Can't think of anything!

Views of the sea from the kitchen - lovely in all weathers. Catering arrangements - good to have a well equipped kitchen area to cook our own food or have a takeaway. Really enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna area, didn't get into hot tub as it was raining when we planned to use it. Maybe next time!

I could hear the waves from my room & a stunning view of the sea, it's metres away! Kitchen had everything you could ever need inc Crumpets! Sauna/pool great & the HOT tub was like having a massage (needed after all the beautiful walks) & stars twinkling down. Hosts lovely & a very chilled vibe to Eastwatch, looking forward to staying again 😀

I really liked how we were greeted and treated so lovely the facility’s were amazing and the rooms where a great size, very modern and clean. Would definitely stay again.

High quality accommodation with some very nice touches throughout the property. The price was unbelievable given the quality of the rooms and the sea views. Paul was very knowledgeable and gave us a full tour of the property highlighting all of the facilities on offer.
It was a bit of a trek to the town center but that was probably my fault for not checking the location on the map! We were happy with the shared kitchen but not happy when we noticed that someone had helped themselves to our anniversary cake that we left in the shared fridge! I hope they enjoyed it!

We liked the rooms in the guest house and the complimentary breakfast choice and tea or coffee was very good to have. We loved the swimming pool and Hot tub.
Just a positive feedback - me and my partner are keen birdwatchers and I would like to suggest that you hang a couple of bird feeders with mixed seed or peanuts on the the wooden post hooks in the front garden or a bird table so we could watch the birds from the breakfast room
Nothing at all

Paul was so hospitable from the first moment we arrived. He was a great host, explained everything fully, and showed us how to use the facilities in a really kind and comprehensive manner.
The Hot tub, pool and sauna we're immaculately clean and well maintained, and you are free to use them throughout the day without booking, but there were great social distance measures in place.
The room was lovely and bright, clean and tidy! I was really appreciative of not having white sheets on the bed! The bedding was lovely and soft and smelled wonderful. The mattress was really comfortable. Everything in the room was really well placed, and even included a light up mirror, with sockets for getting ready to go out. Everything is thought of, from pool towels, to lovely robes for going down to the spa. Even a lovely wee make up organiser & good quality hair dryer.
The shared kitchen is gorgeous, well stocked and incredibly well equipped. They keep a great stock of eggs, cereal, breads, crumpets, spreads, milk, juice and also a choice of teas and coffees. Absolutely ideal!! We had scrambled eggs and toast one morning and crumpets with butter another morning. Ideal for making up packed lunches for days out! And you're not far from a wee M&S foodhall and Asda. Pens and labels provided so you can store food in the fridge and freezer which was genius! Definitely ideal for family staying or a business trip.
The location is amazing, you are only steps from the beach, a quiet wee road and quiet area. There are no restrictions for coming and going, and no pressure from Paul the host. A true gentleman! All around it was really a wonderful stay!
We can honestly say there wasn't anything we didn't like. The only suggestion we would put forward is a wee bathmat in the shower cubicle! That was literally the only thing lacking for us, other than that the place was flawless. Paul has done an incredible job with this place.

The facilities were as described. We loved the 1960’s decor (not to everyone’s taste) fabulous entrance hall! Our room was very spacious, large window with sea view. We really loved the kitchen set up, extremely relaxed not being tied to having to get up for breakfast! Breakfast items available for you to prepare. Full kitchen facilities to make your own, information for take always if needed. Welcome to bring back takeout. The swimming pool! Hot tub! 👏👏👏👏👏. We found local shops just around the corner from the guesthouse! For us the location was perfect. We walked into Berwick quite easily along the riverbank, found a very nice hostelry/eatery.
Being honest, lack of storage space for clothes. That’s it!

The staff were lovely and the house had a very welcoming environment. Great views and facilities were also a bonus.
Nothing really in my opinion, for the purpose of the trip the house fit perfectly and was a very good environment.

Excellent location with fantastic sea views. wonderful hot tub to use next to the indoor pool and sauna. comfortable bed. great well equipped kitchen for guests to use including bread and eggs to make your own breakfast and tea coffee etc. And to top it all off, a great host, always available, chilled out and friendly. definitely a place worth returning to, this was our second visit but will be returning soon to refresh our batteries.
