The beds were very comfortable, the balcony view was excellent.
There were no shampoos, soaps, shower gels in the bathroom.
From our room we had access to two balconies, but one of these was shared with another room for which we were not informed.

The room is modern and clean. It is a quiet and pleasant place to stay, even though a little bit far from the town's center.
The host does not speak English at all. It speaks only Bulgarian.

Good location for transit from Romania to Greece, close to the border (Makaza). Located in a quiet area with no traffic, with easy access from the main road. Rooms are acceptably clean, but nothing special.
We booked a triple room, 18 sqm, with a view to the city and balcony, but received a cramped room in a ground floor extension (not the main hotel building), with no view and with exit on a common terrace. We were told that the main hotel building is busy, even though we booked 17 days in advance. The booking was with free cancellation, but our money was withdrawn a couple of days before cancellation day - we found that pretty strange. There were no black-out curtains like we saw in the pictures, only some see through curtains that allowed all lights from the garden to come in through the windows, and they were shining really strongly all night. We had to stick the bed covers to the windows to be able to sleep. Strong outside lights were probably useful to keep cars safe in the parking space, which was out in the street in front of the hotel. There was no sheet to cover the person sleeping in the third bed, so we had to use bathroom towels for that. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom seemed improvised, with no shower cabin, only a shower curtain was separating the shower area from the rest of the bathroom, so the whole bathroom was basically getting wet when showering. There was no breakfast, although in the booking it was available at an extra cost. The hosts did not speak English, but they managed to find a person who was speaking English and he guided us to a restaurant nearby. However, when we got there, it was closed and not functional. There was a supermarket nearby, which looked very dodgy and smelled bad. So we drove to the city center and ate in one of the few available restaurants. There was also a Lidl nearby, but you need to drive there approx. 5 minutes. We decided not to come back to this hotel on our way back from Greece, although we had booked it for another night, so we lost our money, as that was also withdrawn from our account a few days before cancellation day.

Great place to stop on the way to the eastern Rhodope mountains. It was clean, the staff were nice and offered us coffee in the morning. Overall really good value for money.
