Extremely well fitted out cottage in a very quiet and beautiful environment. Kids want to make it an annual family event! ;)

We were met by a delightful gentleman who was our host. Very knowledgeable and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He really took our needs into consideration and spoilt us with a local tour which was a real highlight of our trip. We met his lovely wife at the end of our trip and she was lovely too.
Kitchen was well equipped with even a smoothie maker, coffee plunger, ice and cold water, rusks, spices all available. Lots of candles and lights for long load-shedding.
Good wifi which worked during load-shedding.
We would love to come again.
Directions to the farm could have been more explicit to make us feel more confident in finding it.
Some of the decoration is of a personal nature which some guests might not enjoy such as personal photographs. But it was like visiting a family members farm with character and charm.

Very friendly owners. Helpful, but gave us privacy. Kept in contact with us. Gave excellent directions.

Beautiful, quiet retreat in a calm, Cedarberg setting

We loved the stay! LeFras was extremely accommodating from the second we arrived! he told us about the dam next door where we saw the sunset and recommended Traveller’s Rest nearby for dinner, which was exactly what we needed!
incredible starry night, comfortable stay.
it was perfect for our desires

Location good, self catering
Was told that we had to share with another guest that also booked in for the night, thankfully he did not arrive. Sharing the guesthouse should have been on the website.

Location and natural surroundings.
Not informed about sharing of the cottage with other guests. Facilities very basic and somewhat run down.

The house was beautifully sunny and had fantastic views of the mountains. The host was very informative and we were able to do numerous interesting walks. The braai facilities were exceptional.

Very helpful host. Beautiful situation near a small dam. Comfortable and well equipped.

The site is beautiful -- the vistas across the valley are gorgeous. The area is so peaceful and the cottage very well equipped and comfortable! We loved having Lupa, the dog, for company and our host was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and generous with his time. We swam in the dam, walked the paths behind the farm and enjoyed delicious meals at Traveler's Rest and the Hen House. The San rock paintings are breathtaking!

Well equiped. Good location. Quiet. Nice outside area
Do not like the idea that two rooms may potentially share the common area. I was lucky, the other room was empty.
The cottage appeared to be occupied with half soap bars and shampoo bottles around

The owner was very friendly. It was very clean and spotless. The views were amazing. We loved the little dam which was within easy walking distance, there was a canoe as well as a pontoon, lovely to go for a swim. Very friendly dog.

Probably the most quiet place we ever stayed in. Most helpful hosts. Maryke and Lafras were very knowledgeable about the area and were ready to give advice, without being intrusive
The cottage has all amenities and is super clean.
It was a delight to stay
I am really cross that our itinerary did not allow us to stay for longer

Lefans the host went out of his way to accommodate us. He was very helpfull with suggestion on things to do in the area and assisted with our dogs while we did a hike. The dam near the property was very nice for the dogs. The property also had a washing machine which came in very handy. The place is clean and has evwrything you need to make it comfortable.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful (especially as I managed to get stuck in a ditch just before arriving there). Lots of information was made available about things to do in the area which made me want to return to stay for longer. They have a nice setup for recycling and a well-stocked kitchen.
The ditch that my car got stuck in.
