We LOVED it!

We had the most amazing time. The hotel is beautiful, overlooking the sea, and you can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, with a wonderful balcony providing exceptional sea views, where you can watch the sun rise. Marilena and the hotel staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. We loved our stay so so much.

Lovely smallHotel with great attention to small details

We received a very warm and friendly welcome from the family who own this lovely small hotel by the Sea in a village. Plenty of Hotel parking. Tastefully decorated, clean and good sized room and bathroom. Everything worked properly. Very close to the sandy beach (a few very small pebbles) where Restaurants offer free sunbeds/umbrellas if you just buy a drink/snack. Very quiet and peaceful but we were there for three nights out of season mid June. A few good restaurants and for Seafood, we recommend the Restaurant underneath the Hotel (not owned by the same people). We loved this small Hotel and a lot of attention has been made to small detail. Breakfast, Greek Style, is served on your Balcony which has a good seaview right in front of the little Harbour. Big thank you to the Gentleman and his daughter, in particular, who own the Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. We recommend this Hotel and would return. Thank you very much. Julie & Steve

Great location, great family service!

The location is perfect as it is not only on a beautiful beach in a beautiful port, but it is a great place to set as a base to explore the greater Epidavros region all the way from Corinth, Loutraki, to Poros, Porto Heli and Nafplion. The hotel is run but a local family and you can tell they take pride in providing great service. The breakfast was always on time and plentiful. Would thoroughly Marilena to anyone wanting to stay in Epidavros and explore the region.

5 euro for a bready cakey breakfast, yog and jam. Nice but needed orange juice or an egg. Maybe charge 7 euro for this...

Ah for the price. Nothing. Next refurb the doors i guess, but total value for money.

Perfect spot for an unforgetable night!

Superb customer service. Location next to the beach & port. Room with a spectacular view, but quiet at night to rest. Welcomed us with a bottle of wine, later with a fruit tray. Breakfast is simple, homemade bread, yoghurt, cheese and ham, jelly, honey and great coffee or tea. Tea kettle in room with coffee, tea & sugar to enjoy throughout the day. Room is spacious, with wonderful natural light and huge bathroom with a relaxing big shower. Genuinely warm welcoming staff that speaks great English. Next to a sandy beach with cristaline waters, great for swimming and snorkeling. Early morning with fishing boat coming in with daily catch, that you can enjoy in restaurant right at the foot of your room. Perfect in every way!

Excellent View, Customer service and friendliness of staff

Our stay at Hotel Marilena was way beyond our expectation. The staff are so friendly and will do anything for you. The room was lovely and the perfect size for two of us for 4 nights. The breakfast that was brought up every morning was brilliant and we sat on the balcony eating it every morning staring over at the small harbour. We would defnitely stay here again in the future and hopefully being such a small property they will remember us. This was great value for money with an excellent view over the harbour area and restaurants.

Perfect for a comfortable & easy going stay: Absolutely recommendable

Beautiful and modern twin rooms with well-sized balcony and spectacular view onto the beach, the small port and several islands in the Saronic gulf. Quiet, small village, some tavernas. Marina, her father Sotiris and her brother Marius are an extremely friendly and helpful family who keep the rooms clean and perfectly equipped for a comfortable and easy going stay (thank you very much).. We enjoyed a tasteful full breakfast incl. fresh orange juice and Greek yoghurt, etc. Enough free parking spaces beside the hotel.

You must be here, wonderful place, wonderful host, view on sea, breakfast on balcony, fruits and wine in room. It is a fairytale and if it is your wedding anniversary then this is right hotel where to be. Thank you for that what you are doing, you are on right way. Greetings from Latvia!

A lush way to end the holiday - thanks for the service.

Delicious pastries and fresh fruits replenished in the fridge daily. French coffee and milk provided. Excellent restaurant with fresh seafood caught daily. Pleasant room decor and a clever mechanism to the aircon which automatically switches off when the balcony door is opened. Spacious balcony. A family-friendly feel to the hotel and local bay. Beautiful location to wind down in before the flight home.

A long mirror would be useful in the room. The shower knob was fiddly to turn but does work and the shower is hot and powerful.

Cosy room with oceanfront balcony. Every day the owners surprised us e.g. with fresh fruits or wine - we felt extremely comfortable!
