Luxury hostel

The sleeping pods are a great idea and the pool is pure luxury. I really enjoyed my stay here.

The kitchen was very poorly equipped. Not enough lounging space. Especially for the numbers.

Vieta, kur pārlaist nakti

Kapsulas tipa guļvietas ar aizkariem - jums ir sava privātā telpa. Ir gultas veļa un sega. Ērtas kāpnītes uz otrā stāva gultu. Atrodas tieši pie Camino. Pagalmā ir baseins (nesanāca gan to izmantot). Liels paldies personālam, kas bija atsaucīgi ar neplānoti vēlu check-in.

Tīrība nebija augstākajā līmenī - dušā uz griestiem pelējums. Nekad nebiju pieredzējusi, ka naktsmītnes durvis vispār netiek slēgtas - nebija diez ko omulīgi zināt, ka nakts laikā jebkurš var ienākt iekšā hostelī.

Wish more places were like this one .

Perfect close to shop cafe after a long day walking , my nephew enjoyed one of there frozen meals great idea and the garden and pool was faultless , the host was very friendly and polite .

Uma surpresa

Como disse ao rapaz que estava na receção, se há locais em que o espaço é muito pior do que as fotos que se vêem aqui no Booking, este é o contrário. As fotos não mostram nem de perto o potencial deste local. Espaço partilhado muito bem pensado, com os cubículos a serem excelentes a nível de privacidade e também de som. O espaço exterior é muito agradável e que pena não ter trazido calção de banho, porque a piscina parecia estar incrível! Tem também lavandaria, que na altura da reserva não me recordo de ver aqui mencionado.

O meu único reparo será talvez o tamanho dos lavatórios. São um pouco pequenos para, por exemplo, lavar os dentes, mas nada com que não se consiga viver.

Sorprendente y Original.

Albergue para peregrinos con buena ubicación...se inspira en los hoteles cápsula japoneses dando un punto de intimidad. Limpieza impecable. Muy buena recepción y piscina con vistas espectaculares. Lo mejor para un final de etapa. Perro Atika cariñoso y juguetón...encantador.

Para mejorar haría falta más ventilación en las camas. Recordad hora de silencio a los peregrinos y unas perchas y mocho en los baños para facilitar la higiene.

Nice facility, but too hot for a pilgrim to get much-needed rest.

Clever bunk facilities. We stayed in a double bed in a bunk room, but each bed had its own cubicle for privacy. The cubicle also had two lockable storage boxes and power outlets

The cubicle was very hot because it was a small space. We had to choose between keeping our privacy curtain closed and dealing with the heat, or keeping it open, being a little hot, and having no privacy. Highly recommend that the owners lower the curtains on the top bunks to create a space between the curtains and ceiling. Guests would still have privacy and much more air flow. Would also highly recommend they install fans in the cubicles. The design was great, they just need to take care of the heat problem.

Beautiful and comfy place, too bad it has such an unpleasant owner!

The staff was really nice and helpful, made us feel welcomed (unlike the owner). They had double beds available which was really nice for a Hostel (great for couples traveling on the Camino). Clean and comfortable amenities and cute interior design.

The pool is actually the owner's dog pool, so keep that in mind if you ever want to take a swim there. In fact, the owner lives upstairs where the pool is located and doesn't take very kindly to guests that want to enjoy a day by his pool (an option that Casa do Adro advertises that is available for guests). He was really unpleasant, commenting on who moved his chair and why is someone else sitting in it (there was no indication that it was off limits), putting really loud music on, and splashing water all over the guests by plunging into the pool multiple times with his dog (it was a very big spectacle). We all got the hint and left the pool quickly after. And big surprise, after all the guests left the upper floor, he also left the poolhouse (mission acomplished on his part). So, the main idea is that although Casa do Adro is nice, it's owner not so much. The pool is actually a private facility and was clearly not made with the specific intention that guests use it. He probably thought that it's a good marketing hook to attract guests and charge more, but without beeing actually keen on sharing it with them.

Was right on the Camino Trail. Host did a good job showing us around. Washer and dryer were very helpful. Cafe and small convenience store right around the corner. Double beds available. Great price. Nice bathrooms.

Great location just off the trail, really nice quiet place with an awesome pool. Best sleep we got on the Camino.

The hostel is a pool house in the yard of a family home. I didn't mind this but something to be aware of.

Restaurants and shops around, only in cash. Some items in the kitchen are missing.

overall enjoyed my stay

location, the views, the outside area was lovely to sit in the evening.

the fan in the bathroom, every time the light was switched on so too did the fan. in the middle of the night it’s very disturbing. would recommend it’s placed on a separate switch.

Best Albergue ever

It was close to the route of el Camino. Privacy courtains for beds, comfortable stairs, lockers at the bed, bed also for pairs. Washing possibility. The pool, the view from the pool was beautiful.

After wasing the clothes had srtange smell. Toilet and shower in the same room, and there was only two.
