The property was exceptional for this particular price range. A smaller, very comfortable bach on a smaller property, but the bedrooms were well-sized with large beds.
Immaculately presented, with all the amenities you could need.
The location and views are to die for.
Excellent hist communication made booking and check-in a breeze.
Highly recommended, would definitely stay again in future.

Loved the view from the deck, of the town and ocean beyond.
Enjoyed the hot tub but it could have been clean. There was sand in it.
The king bed was very comfortable and although the room faced the road, we heard very little road noise at night.
Kitchen was well equipped. Quiet neighbourhood.

Old property hence lack of wardrobe space, but we managed with make do racks. Inconvenient having to walk through one bedroom to access another, or walk around the outside of house to get to entrance

Great spot in Raglan. Lovely clean bach super close to town. Spectacular views. Bit of road noise but the views make up for it.

Location was awesome and cleanliness and condition of the unit was top rated. If we were to make a less positive comment it would be that the spa did not have a roof / shade sail over - if the weather miss-aligns with your stay, you will not get much use of the spa (like we had the misfortune).

The excellent location with superb views of the harbour and town is a real bonus. The area is certainly worth visiting. We lifted the microwave down off the fridge to a safer location. A suggestion if possible would be to concrete an apron between the two drives, to make backing down safer without driving on the lawn. I left a note suggesting to put some ant bait out as they soon woke up to the fact that there was food around, especially the food scrap bin.
The hob and oven could do with some cleaning.
Thankyou for sharing the property, the time went by too quickly.

This is a good Kiwi bach in a great location. Wonderful elevated views of Raglan, but only a 5 min walk to the main street. Loved the spa bath with a view. We were two couples travelling together, our bedroom didn’t have much room for our luggage so we kept our bags in the third bedroom, which worked fine. It’s close to a main road, but the traffic noise at night was very minimal. Would happily stay here again.

Initially we loved our stay. The house is beautiful and clean and has fantastic views.
On day 3 of our 5-day stay we received a rude email from the host which put a real damper on our holiday. She said that we had more people staying than booked, threatening us with eviction. This was a misunderstanding as we initially booked for 2 but then changed to extra people. All extra costs were paid before our arrival. Instead of checking the details of our booking carefully and communicating with us politely we were immediately treated like criminals. While she admitted that she got this wrong, there was no profuse apology as I'd expect. Instead she was blaming it on a change of manager. Poor excuse - I think - when I always communicated directly with her and she should have had all information at hand.

In town, walkable to all shops and restaurants. View over town and out to sea. Simple spa and furnishings, everything you need. On a main road, but not noisy. Would book again.

Best place to stay in Raglan
We really enjoyed our 4 nights here as a family of teenagers with another family member visiting for a couple of nights. Having two bathrooms is great. There were so many towels supplied we didn't have to use them all! The heat pump kept us cosy and dried out washing. We didn't use the spa but I bet that was fab too. Julls was very helpful. Location is fab just wander down the hill to town, We only used the car when we went to the surf beach. We would stay here again for sure.

Raglan Rest
Great location but I'd never booked with this company before and failed to realize the price quoted when booking in September was only two adults even though it sleeps 6. . My adult son from Auckland and his girlfriend were keen to holiday with us but unsure if they would even be able to and then for how long. As it turned out work commitments meant they stayed for three nights, I had paid for an extra 2 adults for 7 nights.
I was disappointed, working in the medical field and not having had a break for nearly 12 months and needing a real rest, I was sent emails asking for bed configuration requirements and then telling me there would be a delivery of spa pool parts, when I didn't respond, they were sent again. On one occasion the owner turned up with an architect. In isolation all these things would have been fine but in combination it was intrusive and when paying a large amount of money to rent a property, inappropriate.

Amazing holiday home
Our family had a lovely 4 night stay here recently and we would love to stay again. Julls is a friendly host with great communication and always responded to my emails promptly. The holiday home has beautiful views, it was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We loved the short walk into town with our 3 kids. The highchair made it easier travelling with a baby. The spa pool was so nice at the end of the day. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Raglan.

So close to the shops and an easy walk if you don't mind a walk up a short hill. Beautiful views over the estuary and beyond. Lovely well appointed kitchen . The host couldn't be more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

The position of the property was ideal, it was in the main well appointed with 3 bedrooms, one being off the Master, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, diner.lounge with fabulous views over Raglan and sun-sets that were amazing. There was a spa that was very well set up. Communication with Julls the Manager was excellent and always with prompt replies and on one occasion her husband came to sort the tv areal which we greatly appreciated. We were a little surprised given the price being in the top bracket, aspects including dishwasher not washing glasses and some cutlery well- on arrival we had to Re wash items, still with lipstick and sediment on them for example. The kitchen did lack some kitchen items including sharp knives for cutting steak, vegetables, bread and it could do with platters / serving dishes salad servers. The one pan to use on the elements had a dodgy handle and needed a good clean. There was no range hood or extractor fan above the oven, and the windows looked fragile to open so needed to remain shut. There was a large crack in the gib above the lounge suite which appears to be an old leak with broken plaster looking like it could cave at any time? Other aspects of maintenance also including the gates on to the decking also need attention for ease of opening / closing. There were also no obvious smoke alarms. The umbrella was unusable as it has dents in the pole and no support base to safely secure it given the area was breezy at times but in very direct sun all day. Yet there were strict rules on the wall stating if the umbrella was broken the renter was responsible for replacement if damaged - prevention via a decent sturdy stand would prevent such potential issues occurring, or placement of a shade sale as the deck was directly north / west facing. There were two bathrooms both opening to a back decking leading to the spa pool. Both showers did not have extractor fans in the rooms so unless the external doors were open ventilation was minimal post showering. We suggested to Julls too that inclusion of shower glass moisture scrapers maybe helpful. The spa pool and bbq were positioned very well out the back and very private and well maintained. Overall our stay was great. We greatly enjoyed the setting and views especially the sunsets. Our main concern as noted above was the things that one would expect to be top notch and in full working order, given the high day rate.

Great 2 night weekend family stay, excellent location with amazing harbour views. Easy stroll into town and nice spa to relax in. Super clean Bach with everything needed for a family stay. Our only negative comment is we thought overall cost for 2 nights was very high for this type of accommodation. Overall a 5 ⭐️ property but just a little pricey?
