Stayed with 3 other couples for a weekend trip to surprise our friend for his birthday (he lives nearby) the house was very clean. It had more than enough ancillary things for use that came in handy. The hot tub was an added treat. I picked this house and the only gripes were the water in the canal wasn't a usable as most had hoped. We thought we would just be able to float in the area but you can't really do that or want to do that in the cove. The other issue was we drew names for which couple got the good bedrooms without the twin beds. Of course i planned the trip and got the last pick 🙄 The house was really great and the host was equally amazing.

Your home is very beautiful!. It was comfortable and spacious. My family enjoyed themselves and we did as well. Everyone felt very relaxed there. The colors when you walk in are inviting and you feel at home right at the entrance. Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home. My family and I had a great time. It was a wonderful feeling, thanks again! We would love to come back again this time of year if not before if you allow us the opportunity to.

Great accommodations for our group of 10 at the lake. Sleeps 10 comfortably. Our group was five couples in our mid 30s, and each pair had a room. Even the downstairs "extra sleeping area" is a nice separate space with a door and its own bathroom. The check in process was easy, and you can't beat the convenience of a lakefront property for a lake trip!

Really enjoyed the house! Great location and communication with hosts! Would definitely recommend to friends and family. A few drawbacks that did not take away from the experience but should be noted are: 1) beds definitely aren’t the biggest (we knew this coming in) so for a group of taller adults it may be a bit tight, especially when it’s the full 10 people. 2) Owner’s boat is parked at the dock, which effectively eliminates easy access onto and off the dock at the house. Something to note and I feel like should be advertised more clearly if people are looking for waterfront homes for boat-centered trips! Still, overall a great weekend!

My family of 10 loved this beautiful home on Lake Norman. Plenty of space to spread out, plenty of room in the driveway for all 4 cars as well. We loved that this side of the lake is less congested than other areas.

We took a trip over spring break and had a great time. The fire pit and hot tub were a hit with the young ones. The view and deck were a hit with the adults.

First, the house is beautiful. It is clean and well maintained and has everything you possibly need. The bed was comfy and it was a great place to relax; however, this is the first time I’ve stayed somewhere and felt that I couldn’t be completely positive in my review. I felt that the pictures of the lake and the property were taken from an angle that made it a bit deceptive. The lake view in the picture was taken from the deck looking out past the other houses. The view from the house itself is not what is shown in the pictures. The property is on a canal-at the end of the canal. What you see when you look out is a high embankment that is on a very busy main road. It is not the incredible view from the first picture of the listing. I looked at the other reviews and saw that they were good, I just wish I had read that the house was on a busy road and had no real lake view. The noise from the road made it difficult to enjoy time outside because we had trouble hearing each other over the noise. We also booked this rental because of the hot tub; however, we could never get the temperature above 74 degrees and it was quite cold. Overall we had a good stay but we were a little bit disappointed.

The home is very lovely and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot-tub. The back deck is situated in view of a busy road which during the winter months has no tree foilage to block sight or sound. During the summer this might not be an issue. Overall, everything was quite pleasant.

This is a very nice property that’s been well maintained. There was plenty of room to spread out. It’s adjacent to a busy road, which would be camouflaged more with foliage in the spring/summer. You can't enjoy a walk from the house, but there’s an impressive new county park with trails, views, picnic areas just a few miles away.

Our stay at this comfortable retreat was perfect. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the house is updated. The views from the deck are good, and there is a nice firepit available. The only slight downside is water access, which is limited due to boats taking up available space.

Walked into an amazing welcoming home, the owner was very interested in what would me your stay enjoyable. Couldn’t take a long drive with our 93 year old mom my siblings and I always look forward to spending as much time as possible with her. We had a BLAST ! Thanks for the experience.

Its a beautiful home & property. Has everything you need in the kitchen, even a crockpot! It was 8 of us & we took turns preparing our breakfast & dinner. And we had some pretty elaborate meals. The only downside was the downstairs pullout was pretty uncomfortable & trying to dock the boat in such a small area due to neighbor's boat and the homeowners boat being docked. We left our rented boat at the marina at the end of each day. But other than that it was a great week. Oh and the Tiki Bar next door was fabulous on Friday night! We will definitely be back!

We had such an amazing time! The property is well mannered and comes with everything you’ll need to have for a relaxing getaway. The host is amazing, super quick with responding, and was extremely fast with fixing a inconvenience we encountered. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed the spacious family room/kitchen upstairs as well as the screened in porch. We were very grateful for the hot tub since the weather didn’t cooperate. Great location, too.

Pic of view on VRBO from house is misleading. House is located at very end of a cove, not close to open lake. The cove area is really not accessible. The house was really nice with all conveniences and very well stocked with towels etc. The hot tub was lovely, but no privacy from neighbors. Home is also located close to a noisy, busy road. It was not what I expected. Very expensive since there was really no lake experience.

The home, scenery and atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, well supplied, very clean, plenty to do from relaxing to sitting around the firepit after chillin in the hot tub. Welcoming pets and being able to stroll on a nice walk through the neighborhood which was very quite. We truly love it. A few things could be tweet, but it did not interfere with having an amazing time.

Stayed at property for a long girls weekend. Nice layout of rooms; open spaces - lots of seating for dining. Property manager was very responsive to questions before/during stay and great to work with. Location convenient to local restaurants, services, etc. Would definitely stay again - many thanks!

Had a relaxing Christmas on Lake Norman with the family!! Views were spectacular and the house was spacious and clean. Property manager was very helpful and in contact as needed. Would definitely consider booking in the summer months.

This was a great place and a great location for the wedding of my stepson. We hosted the groomsmen at the house. The lower level of the house was great for them to be together and to get ready for the wedding. My only complaint is the sofa in the main area of the house. The brown recliner was uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. Overall we are talking about renting this place again soon. Thank you for sharing your lake house with us. The Harts.

The house was roomy and well stocked. Could use a deep cleaning, needs more furniture in all bedrooms for storing clothes, and you could not get in the lake from the dock because the water was too shallow and there was no ladder to get back onto the dock.

We had so much fun renting this house with our friends. We rented a pontoon boat and they were able to deliver it right to the dock and pick it up from there. Super easy. The house itself had plenty of space and was well appointed with anything you might need. Would definitely come back! It’s also really close to the Landing restaurant which is fun! And the Publix is 3 min away. Everything was very easy.

This house was so welcoming, very well stocked, and the location was perfect. You cannot swim right off the property, however, there’s plenty of places to go and enjoy the lake. Very beautiful home, very friendly owners, perfect house for our family.

We were in the area for a family wedding and this property has a great location and had plenty of room for us to stay and to visit with our extended family. The communication before and during our visit was excellent and the price was very good for the size of the house. Our only complaint was that the furniture was very worn and mostly uncomfortable, including all the beds other than the primary suite and the outside tables and chairs were all dusty and couldn't be used without us cleaning up. I know I had not asked in advance but three members of our family who have allergies to pets had a hard time when in the house. I will remember to always ask about previous pet occupancy when booking in the future.
