Everything - from the amazing hosts to the stunning historic (restored) building with all mod-cons yet perfect “historical” feel. The location is perfect - with view across the bay and bridge a yet walking distance to the Wharfs and town centre.
Nothing - its a dream little stay

The property was excellent and very well cared for. Serina was an excellent cook as well and the breakfast was the best start to the day. The property is also located in the perfect place. Away from the foot traffic but a short walk to everything. Also directly next to a beautiful park to see the sunset behind the bridge. Definitely a gem of Newport.

Our hosts were both charming and welcoming, knowledgeable about the historic area of Newport in which the house is located, and full of interesting local information. This historic property is close to the water and within walking distance of the centre of town, is elegantly furnished and very comfortable. Our room was large, sunny and warm despite ours being a winter visit with exceptionally cold weather (but brilliant blue skies) and our bed was super cosy with lovely white cotton bed linen. We enjoyed a delicious and generous breakfast and our hosts also treated us to unexpected and complimentary cakes and drinks, allowing us to come and go as we pleased, they were most helpful in every way. Perfect!

Breakfast of fresh fruit, warmed bran muffins, yogurt and granola was very good. Coffee excellent. We loved both Joanna and her daughter Serena. Exceptional hostesses. Will stay again next year.
We could have used some rain.

Our host, Serena and her mom were terrific, very informative and helpful. We requested a late check out which was no problem for them. Fresh baked muffins for breakfast. I especially liked the sheets, very high quality and comfortable bed.

I absolutely loved this property. Our accommodations were pristine, comfortable and charming! The location was perfect. Across the street was a small waterfront park with the view of the Jamestown Bridge. We were able to easily walk to many restaurants and shops. Our hostess was delightful and most helpful! Each evening when we arrived home from dinner a delightful treat of fruit and sweets were by our door. I can hardly wait to visit again!

I enjoyed the fresh fruit.
Breakfast was a bit too sweet for my taste.
4.5
Clean and beautiful room with a view of the sunset overlooking the water and Goat Island. The house is very charming and the garden is lovely. This accommodation is ideal for a getaway that makes you feel like you're having a unique and personalized experience instead of a generic and impersonal hotel stay. The location was great and we were provided with an off-street parking pass to park across the house. Some of best eateries and restaurants were within walking distance (Bowen's Wharf). There is a lot to discover in Newport and our hosts Sarina and Joanna were very hospitable and helpful in providing restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. This gave us an opportunity to make the most of our 3-day stay in Newport.
Nothing! We really enjoyed our stay and recommended this place to our family and friends.
