This lovely “City and Sea" apartment is located in the city center, 5 mins walk to the Diocletian's Palace on one side and 5 mins walk to Marjan Park on the other side where many beaches are located (rock, sand and pebble). The location is this apartment’s biggest strength. It is newly renovated, designed to provide comfort with style. "City and Sea" is well equipped and surrounded with anything you might need within walking distance (stores, cafés, restaurants). For more info, please see below. Neighborhood
Just 5 min walk from the apartment is hill Marjan. There are many beaches, where you can hide on secluded ones or enjoy after beach parties . If you are not up for swimming, you can rent a bike or just go hiking on Marjan.
Old city Varos is 3 min walk from the apartment where you can enjoy strall in small old alleys. Just few hundred meters further and you will be in the Diocletian's palace. There you can explore many charming caffes, wine bars and restaurants. Prosciutto is a must try! It is a vibrant place not to miss in the mornings to have you first coffe and breakfast on the promanade Riva suranded by palm trees and also in the evenings to enjoy good meal with dalmatian vine while listening live music. Many night clubs are 10-15 min walking distance from the apartment.
Within 300 m, you can find stores (Lidl, Tomy, Bipa, Konzum), caffes, restaurants, pizza place, pharmacy, post office... all you might need during your stay.
If you'd like to explore other beaches in the city, public transportation is just 100 m away from the apt that will take you directly to beach Znjan, Obojena or Kasuni.
In case you'd like to take 1 day trip to Trogir or Omis, public transportation that will take you there is 10-15 min walk from the apt. But we can help you with the details, once you get here ;)

This was a great choice for us as everywhere was walkable. Very comfortable, well equipped apartment and excellent hosts.

- very nice, spacious bedrooms & living room area
- even bedroom that faces busy street wasn't too loud with fan turned on as background noise
- 1st floor made it nice to only have to carry luggage a few stairs from entrance
- didn't cook, but looked like it had everything one would need
- bottle of wine in the fridge & basket of goodies on the kitchen table was a nice touch
LOCATION
A little far, but nice to be away from the touristy Old Town

Our host was very nice and proactive. He helped advise us about transportation to the apartment, was nice to run air conditioning all day so the it was nice and cold when we arrived. We especially appreciated that as Split hit an all-time record high temp for June the week we stayed. There was also a regional power outage when we visited, and without prompting, Marin reached out during the power outage to make sure we were safe and comfortable, and provide us updates as he heard them on the news.

Modern and very clean 2BR apartment up just a short flight of stairs was perfect for our 3 night stay in Split. The location is an easy walk to the old city center, palace, clubs, and restaurants. Our hosts, Zrinka and Marin, were super in every way and we thank them for their special efforts to help us find a place to park our rental car. Highly recommend. Bill C.

Very modern well maintained apartment in great location. Cafe bar and Tommy's supermarket, and bus stop, across the road, and a pizza restaurant and 2 other pizza takeaways nearby. Would highly recommend, and would love to go back again.

The apartment was exactly as shown and fully equipped. The hosts were really helpful, friendly and accommodating. City & Sea is the perfect name as each were in easy walking distance. For our first ever visit to Split it ticked all our boxes. Would happily recommend this to anyone.

The apartment was perfect for us. Spacious and well equipped. The fresh milk and fruit on arrival made us feel very welcome and the flexibility on check out time was also very kind.
It is no more than a 15min walk to Diocletian Palace so perfect for walking off our evening meal. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time in this apartment, which is a short walk from the old town but with a local neighborhood feel! Rooms were very spacious and apartment stocked with the basics. Grocery shop across the road was very handy and hosts were very responsive. Would stay again!

We had a great stay in Split. The apartment had everything we looked for and was really well placed for the city and sea as per its name! Zrinka was wonderfully helpful and even forwarded a couple of items my daughter forgot after we had left!

This property was exactly like the pictures. The bedrooms were a good size. The place was very clean. The host was helpful and responsive.

We had difficulty finding the apartment as we never received the full address (just the street address). Once inside, though, the apartment was clean and comfortable. The fruit and wine left by the host were a lovely touch. Of note, the AC is only in the main room, so if you sleep with your bedroom door shut, it will be very hot. The location is fine - more urban than quaint. All and all, a perfectly lovely apartment if you just need a place to lay your head.

The apartment was very nice and we greatly appreciated the property owner’s flexibility letting us check in an hour early. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was very clean and it was so nice to have wine, fruit & chocolates provided upon arrival. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier. The only downside of our stay was that the hot water tank is very small so the last 2 people that showered had no hot water. For 4 adults we also could’ve used 2 more larger bath towels. Another thing to keep in mind is that the air conditioning unit is in the living room so we had to sleep with our bedroom doors open otherwise it was very hot. This wasn’t a problem for us but worth noting. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Fabulous apartment! We love everything about this apartment. The location is only about a 10 minute walk to the Riva. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions and recommended good restaurants. They left a nice package of goodies for our arrival which was much appreciated. I would stay here again and again! Added bonus to have a grocery store across the street too!

The apartment is located an easy 15 minute walk to the Old Town and waterfront. Very comfortable for three adults. We didn't cook in but the kitchen appeared fully equipped if you wanted to do so. A convenience store is just across the street. Zrinka was great! She left fruit, cookies and wine for us and constantly checked in to ensure we had everything we need. She arranged transportation for us, and provided suggestions on things to do and places to eat.

Lovely property with great hosts. Marin and Zrinka went above qnd beyond to help when our luggage unfortunately was lost. Spacious, clean apartment with great utilities (fruit and wine even provided!) And just 10 minutes walk to the old town.

We’ll located, first floor, spacious (2 bedrooms), immaculate, well equipped apartment. 15 minute walk from the promenade. Easy communications, appreciated the complimentary fruit bowl. Street parking can be a challenge so park on the sidewalks like the locals or on a free lot behind the building . Hosts were super responsive and accommodating.. Highly recommended.

Zrinka was amazing with advice on visits, advice on the neighborhood and friendliness! The apartment was great and the garden view with children playing a diversion from the busy streets. Aptly named in a great location walking distance from several beaches/swimming areas, the country park and the old town. Several supermarkets local as well (including Lidl) so you can run on a budget.
Parking in local streets - sometimes had to hunt around for a space but never too far from the apartment.
The host was very helpful in providing anything or any information we needed - booked a great restaurant for us on one occasion.
The apartment is well equipped and comfortable - two spacious bedrooms and a sofa bed in the kitchen/diner if needed.

Charming and convenient
Very cute 2 bedroom apartment with many amenities. Place was very comfortable and walking distance of all the hot spots, restaurants, tours, port, etc. my sister and I had a wonderful visit. I fell in love with the city and Croatia. Hope to return soon for more exploration

L'appartement était parfait pour 3 et exactement comme sur l'annonce! Il etait très bien situé, environ 15 min à pied de la vieille ville. L'hôte était facile à rejoindre et à tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable, par exemple en laissant des fruits frais et un peu de nourriture dans le frigo.

Beautiful, well decorated and comfortable apartment close to Old Town
Absolutely loved our stay in Zrinka’s apartment. The beds were both huge and very comfortable. After a few weeks of travelling, this apartment was everything we wanted and needed. Everything about the guest experience had been considered, including complementary travel toiletries (in case you forgot anything!), fresh fruit in the kitchen, laundry facilities etc. Great location, a short 10 min walk to the Old Town and Riva. Good quality and affordable dining options nearby. Host was very easy to reach and provided good recommendations and advice for getting around the city. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Escape in Split
This apartment lives up to its name "city and sea." It's the perfect combination of great location - just 1/2 a mile from old town split, and down the street from the harbor. Zrinka and Marin were extremely warm and helpful. Starting from the 1st night Marin greeted us at the parking lot, walked us to the apartment (just around the corner) and spent time sharing suggestions for dinner, local cafes, and beaches. The apartment is modern, clean, with all the amenities including dishwasher, washer for clothes, wifi, and 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds. Zrinka and Marin had generously left a bottle of local wine & some beer in the refrigerator, plus a bowl of fresh fruit on the kitchen table. They were very responsive to our requests, we asked for a fan they came over with it the same day. They made everything easy. We would definitely go back!

Well appointed apartment in quiet location - easily 15-20 minute walk to everywhere in the center. Marin helped us reserve spots on a great boat to see the islands. Highly recommend for a stay in Split.

We were impressed with our warm and hospitable greeting from the lovely owners. They anticipated and provided our every need +++. Comfortable, Clean, Quiet and Convenient
I knew before I arrived, that I was going to love this place. Zrinka went above and beyond in more ways than I can mention here including arranging airport transit, offering me a lift to a sporting equipment store, a thorough orientation to the apartment, maps and guides, advice on quickest and most scenic routes and places to eat and rent a bicycle. It seemed as if nothing was too much trouble as she met me on arrival, saved a parking spot for my travelling companion who arrived 2 days later and allowed us some much appreciated flexibility with our departure time. She even left fruit and baked treats in addition to cooking staples, toiletries and laundry products.
The location is perfect as it is a very short walk to the old town and the port but also very close to the magnificent Park Marjan with its cycling and hiking trails, secluded beaches and breathtaking vistas -a fabulous place to regroup and relax when you want to get away from crowds and traffic. There is a grocery store and cafe right across the street as well.
This property comes highly recommended for most helpful hosts, great communication, special touches, convenient location and safety & security. I will always have happy memories of Split and be grateful for the hospitality I was shown during my stay at City and Sea!

Il n'est pas loin du centre (5-10 minutes à pied). Il y a un magasin alimentaire et un café de l'autre côté de la rue.
Le point d'observation de la ville et la promenade dans la partie forestière sont à seulement 5 minutes également.
L'appartement est conforme aux photos, décoré avec goût et extrêmement bien équipé. En 10 ans de location, c'est la première fois que l'hôte met à disposition des brosses à dent neuve, du dentifrice, mais également toutes les denrée de base pour cuisiner. (Huile, pâtes, riz, corbeille de fruits garnie, etc...). Les casseroles, les couteaux sont d'une excellente qualité, ce qui est très rare dans les locations.
De plus, l'accueil est extrêmement chaleureux. L'hôte est à disposition pour vous fournir tous les conseils sur la ville est les endroits à ne pas manquer.
L'appartement a vraiment contribué à ce que nous passions un bon séjour à Split.
