My husband and I have been vacationing in Beaufort for close to twenty years now. This is our third time staying at this location. We love this home - it has everything we need and still seems brand new. Our favorite part is the screened-in back patio. We most recently stayed in June and enjoyed sitting out there with our morning coffee, listening to all the songbirds. Two curious baby racoons were watching us through the screen one evening. When we've stayed in November, we enjoyed lighting the fireplace and spending the evening on the patio. The neighborhood is quiet, and we love that there are two bicycles provided to explore all of Beaufort and the Spanish Moss bike trail. Thank you for another wonderful trip.

We enjoyed 3 nights at this charming cottage. It was enough space for a short visit. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs to cook most meals there (I have food allergies so eating out is challenging).
JaniceMarie was easy to communicate with and we didn’t have any problems.
The Hunting Island Pass was a wonderful bonus. We hiked in the forest and walked along the marsh and lagoon one day, then returned for sunrise at the boneyard beach the following morning.
We enjoyed biking around the neighborhood and having a glass of wine on the screened porch. The neighborhood is very quiet and convenient to downtown.
Highly recommend for a lowcountry getaway!

My wife and I were 100% satisfied with our stay here. It was clean, comfortable, very contemporary and in a lovely area of Pigeon Point - just as advertised. The bikes were a bonus. Janice, our hostess, couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to return myself or recommend it to others.

Week long stay in Beaufort
The cottage was a beautiful little home in a lovely neighborhood. Everything about this cottage is as pictured. We couldn't have asked for more. We especially enjoyed sitting on the back patio in the evenings by the fireplace. It was a perfect time of year for that. We plan to come back to Beaufort and would stay here again, but the next time we come back, we will probably bring our dog and this cottage is only for people which is the only reason we wouldn't stay here again. We highly recommend it!!!

Relaxing Beaufort Cottage
The Cottage is in one of our favorite walking neighborhoods as we’ve stayed in Beaufort several times. Everything was as expected from pictures & description on VRBO. Best feature was screened porch with gas fireplace. Only negative would be very small bathroom. Enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful getaway
The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. Everything was clean and easy to find and use. The location can’t be beat, located in a quiet neighborhood but only a mile from downtown. Has bikes in the shed you can use to bike down to the park. It was everything we wanted.

Parris Island Graduation
We stayed 6 nights. The property is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as pictured. Plenty of amenities. We came down to see our son graduate from the Marines boot camp at Parris Island. Not a far drive from Parris Island. Very Close to Beaufort which is beautiful with lots of history. Also a close walk to Pigeon Point boat launch and park. The park has a great playground for kids. The beach pass was a plus. Hunting Island Beach is absolutely gorgeous. I found 2 sharks teeth. Couldn't have asked for more. Janice was great. Would love to come back again. Loved the house so much.

Perfect and Peaceful
My husband and I have visited Beaufort many times over the years, and we have stayed in several VRBO rentals in the historic district, Port Royal and Pigeon Point (where this home is located). Pigeon Point is very close to the historic area and Bay Street restaurants, shops and art galleries. This home is beautiful - both inside and out. The furnishings are clean and cozy - and our favorite part was sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch in the evening, and having breakfast out on the screened-in patio in the morning. We absolutely loved the screened-in patio - and listening to all of the birds. The kitchen is well equipped (much nicer than my own!), and the owner also provides a SC State Park Pass which we used to go to Hunting Island. JaniceMarie is the perfect hose. We will definitely come back and stay here again in the future.

Very nice
The description of the house and location is accurate. The one bathroom is very small with very little space for toiletries. We enjoyed the bikes as well.

Upon arriving so many helpful details made us feel comfortable and welcome.
well cared for. outside lighting adequate. .Enjoyed front porch rockers, as did a small black snake. When we came in Wed. afternoon. He was resting comfortably on the back of one of the chairs. We didn't disturb him, but he left us that evening.

Difference of Opinion
I loved our stay at Cozy Cottage! My husband not so much. Such is life and marital differences in taste. I thought the decor was lovely, and that back porch was a favorite spot. We selected this property because of it having no stairs, as we are having walking difficulties, and it served our needs perfectly going in & out. Endless opportunities in Beaufort area, and great restaurants which were so accommodating even during Covid. We had one bad day - the jets flew directly over the cottage on Monday - could have used a heads up about that. I thought we were under attack. I enjoyed the sunsets at Pigeon Point. Would love to return - with girlfriends!

Lowcountry getaway
Great property! Good location to launch day trips up and down the coast. Very cozy and comfortable. Our only minor critique is that the bathroom is a bit tight and sits directly across from the glass paned front door, so pack that bath robe if you're the modest type. Rode our bikes all around town and down to the nearby boat launch. We were lucky enough to see dolphins strand feeding on the river during low tide, just wished we had remembered to pack our binocs. Gorgeous colors everywhere at sunset, just beautiful! Cant wait to visit again when masks are a very distant memory.

Wonderful Beaufort getaway
Great location, beautiful home just perfect for our family of 4, and we loved being able to use the two bicycles to ride the short distance to Beaufort’s Bay Street and waterfront. Would definitely stay again!

Loving Beaufort
We had a great time. The cottage was amazing , beautifully decorated and well stocked. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. There is a community park/dock at the marsh which we walked to. Downtown Beaufort is a short drive away. There are so many places to explore which are fairly close by car. Great dining opportunities. Marianne was very helpful during the whole process. Cannot wait to return .

Perfect!!!
We had a great week at the Cottage. Marianne was very accommodating and always available with any questions we had. The screened in porch with gas fireplace is perfect for enjoying the outside while being protected from any bugs at any time of year! The Cozy Cottage was perfect for our new family of three, and very convenient to all of Beaufort.

Beautiful Cottage
Marianne’s cottage was absolutely stunning! Unfortunately we had to cut our visit short because of the caronavirus, but she was kind enough to refund us part of our stay. We are truly grateful. Would highly recommend staying at her cottage!!

Highly recommend Pigeon Point Cottage
Very cute, immaculately clean, and well stocked cottage! Perfect for a couple or a family with a small child but might be a little tight for 4 adults. We had trouble starting the gas logs but Marianne was more than helpful and very accessible. Highly recommend.

The perfect spot to stay in Beaufort!
My husband and I received this trip from our children for Christmas because we love the Beaufort area. Two of our friends came with us, and there was plenty of room for the four of us. We were so pleased with the accommodations and the location. The house is beautifully decorated and immaculate. Marianne is a wonderful host, and replied to any questions we had very quickly. We really enjoyed the fireplace on the porch; it was so nice to sit on the porch with the fire going and be surrounded by the outdoors. The house is so close to historic downtown that it only took minutes by car to get anywhere. I highly recommend Cozy Cottage to families or couples looking for a beautiful place to stay while they are visiting Beaufort. We are so glad we stayed here!

Box of chocolates
Peaceful neighborhood for evening strolls or bike to Pigeon Point. Outstanding cottage, ready to move in. Mile walk to downtown, great kitchen and patio gas fireplace. What Forrest Gump would say," perfect box of chocolates."
