About this apartment rental
Top floor penthouse ocean-view condominium at 1800 Atlantic in the highly desirable B building. This unit has recently been renovated and features a new kitchen with granite counters, lovely open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. The elegant master bathroom has a spacious walk in shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the guest bedroom has 2 twin beds and for your convenience there is a queen pull out sleeper sofa in the living room. Both bedrooms and the living room have brand new impact sliding glass doors providing ocean views across the entire length of the unit. Enjoy the ocean breezes from your large private balcony.
This property has a 4 night minimum stay requirement during the high season, any time of the week. There may be some times that a shorter gap will occur and we will then be willing to make an exception to the rule, you will be unable to book this online so please either call or e-mail us.

Place was exactly as listed. They gave us a personal space in the garage for our car with a clicker. Place was clean and gorgeous. This was my second time staying there. Will stay again next year. Lots of room. Towels and linens are plush and everything is super clean. Balcony is huge and view is spectacular. Pool is Olympic size and clean and just the perfect temperature. Can’t wait for next year to come!

PROS: The location was exactly what we were looking for with easy access to Key West whether we were walking or grabbing an Uber. There were so many things to see and do nearby. Each morning, we took in the sunrise while walking to a new coffee shop and then walk some more. Afternoons were spent by the beautiful pool and strip of beach on the ocean. Dinners were back in town and just delicious. The view from our balcony was gorgeous and the patio was large. The condo was spacious. The version surrounding the property felt like a beautiful tropical island. There were plenty of towels in the condo and some starter supplies like dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, and toilet paper. Check in and check out instructions were clear and concise. The location was perfect.
CONS: The actual place was very dated. The furniture was at least 20 years old. The patio furniture was so rusted it would stick to the cement patio floor when you tried to reposition the chairs. The appliances were old and worn. Several burners on the stove top didn’t work. When we were leaving, the instructions asked that we wash the linens - when we started the washer on hot, it smelled like it was burning so we had to turn it off. The water pressure was very low in showers and toilets. Tha mattresses and pillows were soft, lumpy, and seemed inexpensive. It felt like the owner knew they have a great spot in a great location and charge a higher prices for it but not reinvest in the property.

Our stay at Latitudes Penthouse in Key West was okay. We enjoyed the ocean view and staying in a place larger than a hotel room since it was for 10 days. The condo was very very clean; the property management company was very helpful and professional. The property just needs some loving attention-- such as none of the sink stoppers worked, peeling paint by shower in master bath ceiling; old tired furniture. The deck chairs were sinking into the deck material a bit. The wireless was on and off every day around 5 pm for a couple hours and it was very hard to get internet access and definitely impossible to stream shows. The vent above the stove did not work and is rusty. The front right burner did not work. The fitness center was very hot. I don't know if it has air conditioning or not. There is a ceiling fan but it was horribly hot in there. Really I think what we were most disappointed about was that this property is marketed to be a "penthouse" which led us to think it would be beautiful and upscale. It wasn't. This was our 30th anniversary celebration so we were disappointed that it was a middle road condo instead of what you would think of a penthouse. Yes, it was the top floor (4th floor) and had an ocean view. But there were a lot of other "penthouses" there as well since the 4th floor was in a U shape. The deck appeared the same size as all the other 4th floor condos. We paid A LOT of points for it through Marriott Homes and Villas (which further made us think it would be very very nice). Nothing was really wrong with the condo, it just felt average. We did not contact the property management company about any of this while we were there. We did not feel as though they would have been able to do anything about it while we were there. We also would stay around Duval Street next time. You will need transportation to get to Old Town staying at this condo.

The property's exterior is somewhat dated and entrances and elevators definitely need some attention. The private garage parking was good and added a layer of security. The code box that opens the entrance didnt work but after calling the posted number, security showed up and let us in. The condo was clean and very spacious. Beds,were comfortable, balcony was massive and views were awesome! Large well stocked kitchen. Outside pool and hot tub was really great! I would definitely return to this property!

The location was perfect, a quick Uber ride to anywhere we needed to go. Beautiful view, great pool, very friendly people. The Check in process was tough- there was no info on how to get into the actual building or directions of where to go. We had to call security to give us directions and there was also no directions of where our condo was location (directions or signage of numbers of condos) The unit itself was a little dirty in the bathrooms, a few dead bugs in the pull out couch but that could’ve happened naturally. But the bathroom & kitchen floors were very dirty/not cleaned. Hair, dirt, etc. overall it was a great stay and would definitely stay here again - something to look out for in the cleaning process!

Overall, this was a great place to stay! The common areas and amenities were great - the pool was fantastic, plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The tennis courts were available to reserve, and the gym was great as well. The beach was too rocky to swim but it is only short walk to a great public beach. The condo community was quiet and a lovely place to stay - it felt more like a resort than a typical condo building! The large patio of the unit was perfect and had a fantastic unobstructed ocean view, one of the reasons that led to us booking this unit.
The check-in process was cumbersome. We had to call the property management company twice - we were not aware that the designated parking space was not in the large garage but in a smaller unlabeled individual garage. The unit’s door lock was also not working upon arrival. However, the property management company was quick to respond.
Although we had a great stay, we were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit. The shower curtain in the hall bathroom was disgusting with visible mildew growing on it. This unit is in need of some updating, but everything worked well despite its age.

My husband, three boys and I enjoyed our stay here. The view of the water was gorgeous. We could see the shrimp boats nearly each day. The condo was good also. The kitchen had nearly everything we needed. The living room was comfortable. The pull out couch was huge! That was so helpful with our three boys. Bathrooms were great also. Only downsides were little light in the bedrooms and living room. The bedrooms could use ceiling lights. The connection for cable was in and out also. The location, however, was great for the view and easy to get to anything on Key West by bike, car or walking. Smathers Beach was a quick walk, and Higgs Beach was an easy bike ride. The pool and hot tub at the condo were superb, clean and very large. We all loved those!

Location was great, very close to everything. Loved the layout of the place. It was on the top floor and you could see the ocean and all the great amenities. Staff was exceptionally nice. You had your own enclosed garage for your vehicle, which was nice. Two bedrooms with super comfy beds. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The condo could use some updating, as stove eyes did not all work and paint inside and outside could use a refresher. Overall this place was great. Very plush towels, wonderful shower! Lots of room to roam. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great property. The layout of the condo was perfect, love the size of the kitchen, dining and living space. Balcony was generous size and the view was great. The pool was fabulous. Very large and did not feel crowded at all with at least 15 other adults using it at the same time. Plenty of room for groups of people to hang out in the water without feeling encroached or on top of each other.
Check in was frustrating. More details/instructions about where to park and where the unit specifically needs be written/drawn out. But once we got past all that…we love the place. Quiet unit, great views, and generous entertaining space.

The furniture is dated and the whole condo needs to be painted. The hall bathroom is very dated and needs to be redone. The deck is extremely sticky and is gross to step on with out shoes. Needs to be power washed. The management company was awesome to work with.

We loved everything about our stay in this clean, spacious, and well-maintained condo. In particular, we enjoyed the balance of having the large beautiful condo pool and easy access to Smathers Beach, while also being a short drive from restaurants on Duval and the Old Town area. (We opted for Ubers which came almost immediately.) We appreciated the comfortable beds, speedy internet, and view from the deck. The management company gave us clear communication on everything and the neighbors were friendly. We loved our stay and hope to return!

Title says it all. Really needs updated furniture. Also needs to have kcup coffee pods in unit along with sugar and cram. Needs more beach towels, only 2 in unit. Fan in guest bath does not work too good. The bath stamps up and had to put fan from bedroom in bath Also, no one told us where the unit was in building...we were wondering around trying to find...Good Samaritan led us to it.

All in all, we had a great stay! The location was awesome. The family loved having the pool right there, as well as the beach. The condo was spacious and we has plenty of room. My only issues was with the shower water pressure, but that isn't the owners fault, and a map would have been nice as when we first got there, we had no idea how to get to the room. Everything else was great!

My husband and I were on vacation with our 2 adult daughters. We were happy with the location and really enjoyed the views from the balcony. We were very happy to be able to visit just a week after hurricane Ian. Many residents were cleaning up from storm surge and some beaches were closed but we still had a very enjoyable stay. The location is over 2 miles from the downtown area and we ended up driving into town almost daily for activities and dinner. The kitchen was well furnished and the unit had plenty of space for all of us. The unit needs some maintenance. For example there is a black mildew spot on the ceiling in the family room, probably from a leaking roof. The ceiling of the balcony also needed repair. Some of the balcony chairs were rusted and wobbled. The window above the bathtub was held shut with a fork. The sheets in the master bedroom were low quality and had balls all over them from piling. The furniture was an eclectic mixture of styles. I gave a four star rating because I felt the unit furnishings and condition did not live up to the penthouse description on the website.

Condo was very spacious and clean! They had plenty of towels and stuff to take to the beach! They answered quick with any questions. The property was closed to everything and had am amazing view! It was hard to find the room. The only thing I would change is letting others know if you go into the west side of building and take the elevator up to 4th floor you take a right out of elevator and the doubles doors leading out side on the balcony is where the room will be. I would definitely stay again!

5 family members enjoyed our 4 night stay at 1800 Atlantic in Key West. The place was clean and well appointed. A/C worked well and the view from our top floor end unit was quite nice. We had rented a car so the garage was an added nice feature. The location was great with an easy trip to the downtown area, yet far enough removed to still enjoy the quiet of the area. Also close the airport yet never really never heard jet noises. Highly recommended play to stay for those seeking to enjoy the Key West experience but not wanting to be directly located in the busy downtown atmosphere.

What incredible location. Tough to find oceanview rooms in Key West, let alone swimming pool yards from the water. The courtyard is like a private jungle and we loved walking through it every morning and evening. So many great little natural critters to see. Everyone we bumped into was very pleasant especially the staff, and we felt very safe and secure the entire time we were there. The layout of the condo was amazing. Everything we could ever need. You are walking distance from so many great beaches in southern amenities the island has to offer. We will definitely be staying again!

Condo needs a complete update. Appliances very old, some kitchen outlets not working, glasses and pans very limited. blinds are from the 70’s, screened doors off track, no real style to the house, mixed bag of different furniture, colors. 2nd bath very old, outdoor furniture rusting. Pictures on line very deceiving. View best thing about condo. Not worth it for the price we payed.
