A perfect little flat in a super location at the southern tip of the Peak District. All shopping facilities that you need are in walking distance. No parking but the free parking lot (August 2024 - at the local rugby, cricket, lawn bowles club) was within easy walking distance.
Very easy access to major road into all directions … a number of quite good eateries in the vicinity.
The kitchen, the garden!!! A quiet little place … we loved it.
The en suite bathroom in the larger bedroom is not necessary … and also much too small: this could conveniently be replaced by a wardrobe. One really large enough upstairs bathroom would certainly be enough.

Wonderfully comfortable in a great location and provided everything we required. Very cozy with a lovely garden area. In a quiet location but central to Ashbourne. Would book again. Best place to park for free is in the Pavilion car park adjacent to the park on Cokayne Avenue about 3 minutes from the house.
Have absolutely no complaints.

Lovely 350 year old house beautifully and sensitively restored. Quirky and full of character. Fantastic central location, but very quiet with no noise from road or bars as it's set back at the rear of other houses. Lovely walled garden.
Nice touches from the owners, including leaving wine and milk. Highly recommended, I'd happily stay here again.
Nothing I could find fault with.

Beautiful place in a great location, perfect base for exploring the local area. Lovely outdoor space, shame we didn't have the weather to enjoy it. The music playing when we arrived and the welcome basket were lovely touches. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Nothing, it was perfect

A quirky house with bags of character. Beautiful back walked garden which we didn't use due to the time of year. Fantastic location with the centre o town on the doorstep. Loved the usic on arrival & welcome pack.
The stairs were quite steep for our elderly mother however rails (and stairgates) in situ (if required).

Central location, great (quirky) decoration, equipped to high specification. Lovely courtyard garden to sit and enjoy the sun in.
The ‘don’t do this’ notices around the property weren’t particularly welcoming.

Lovely accomodation, a bathroom for every bedroom, nice outdoor space too.
Nothing to dislike

Exceptional accommodation in a fantastic central location, it was like going through the looking Glass with Alice. The small touches for the arriving guests were excellent. The room decor was exceptional and eclectic and in keeping with the house perfectly, giving it a boutique feeling. I would not hesitate to return

Quirky and comfortable.
The accommodation was very clean and homely. The finishing touches that Su put into the house we’re very much appreciated - especially the homemade Victoria sponge cake...!

Beautiful and spotless, great location and so many lovely little touches that made it a really memorable stay
As a group of 5 and with 3 of the group being over 6 foot 1, the beds were just a bit short for a totally comfortable nights sleep. Unfortunately the single room bed just wasn’t long enough for one member of our party
