Janazza was a perfect little house for our Grampians short break. Very clean and tidy… short walk into town and so good we could bring our dog to enjoy the holiday with us. The huge deck was lovely to have a glass of wine and listen to all the beautiful birds. So relaxing.

Great location, set in amongst a totally natural environment. A few kangaroos in the backyard upon our arrival. What a greeting party :)

Really lovely spot, it was just wonderful natural garden with lots of wildlife, walking my dog around the property, when not out exploring the area. House was very cosy, lovely inside, bed was comfy. Thankyou Cameron & Yvette

The location was great, nestled in a beautiful setting and close to town!
The accommodation was good value for money in Halls Gap. The downstairs area doesn’t have a lot of natural light, so it felt quite dark. It could do with a bit of a freshen up paint wise to brighten the place up.
The reverse cycle took a while to kick in and heat the place up and it made this really annoying high pitched noise when running.
The bed wasn’t overly comfortable and bed linen felt quite worn. One of the bedside lamps didn’t have a bulb in it so couldn’t be used.
Again good value for what we paid but just want others to be aware of what to expect.

We had a fabulous stay the property was clean and very comfortable 2 lovely sofas downstairs and the bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and a full size fridge freezer it a shame the kitchen window is really small missing out on the beautiful view and wildlife however didn't ruin our stay.Upstairs was a comfortable bed and another sofa outside there was a lovely deck around 2 sides of the property with sitting areas all around we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again 😀

We loved how organised and tidy the place was, and with all the provided amenities along with how close we were to explore our surroundings; it felt like a home away from home.
This great property surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature was just what was needed for a peaceful and relaxing time away.

We love the breathtaking view of the mountain in the morning from the upstairs bedroom.

An excellent little place nestled amongst the trees. 2 minutes drive from anything you need on the main street which has a range of cafes and bars as well as a reasonably sized convenient store.
Highly recommend this property as it was clean, quiet and comfortable!

Brilliant lil home and huge deck with amazing views of the Grampians. Easy walk to town and the surrounding area is like your own personal free range zoo. Native animals roam freely. Would definitely stay again.

We loved it. Looking up at the trees and sky from the bedroom was delightful. The kangaroos were constant, quiet neighbours. Everything we needed was supplied, and it was very comfortable. Good, comfortable walk to have coffee, or to a restaurant.

Overall, nice but could do with a little paint/maintenance. Large hot plate on stove and toaster doesn’t work

Happy with the place overall and would recommend. I think it was good value for money. The location is great - being able to walk into town, the start of trails or to the cultural centre. Its not top-of-the-line luxury accommodation so its not going to be perfect so my criticisms are with that in mind.
Do agree with other reviewers that the high pitched whine coming from the AC can be annoying. Maybe some people don't notice it.
Knives need sharpening. There wasn't a sharp kitchen knife in the place.
It's dark, especially downstairs. Unfortunately the design of the house doesn't take full advantage of the location and outlook. From the bed there is a view of the escarpment from one narrow high window. Downstairs there are 2 small windows so lights need to be on all day.
No washing machine or dryer. Something to keep in mind if you intend to stay longer.
No wifi.
That's being picky so those things would be an issue if you were paying premium prices but I think its priced appropriately.

Very good I highly recommend. But as stated communication with owners can only occur if you can find the right property where the owner has their number listed.

Our stay was enjoyable except on the day and evening of our arrival we froze as we couldn't get any worthwhile heat from the air con. It improved over the next 2 days however it was barely adequate. The AC was very noisy in operation. a high pitched squel, and we doubt the overhead ceiling fan worked in pushing the heat to the gound floor. We suggest it needs a decent service.

We had 3 nights stay in May. A combination of the fan and heatpump made the house cozy, and we cooked in 2 nights, the kitchen utensils were basic but sufficient. A very comfortable bed and good communication from the owners. Well recommended.

My partner and I really enjoyed our little getaway to Halls Gap. This property was presented beautifully and we easily relaxed into our 2 night stay. Very close to town but at the same time felt secluded and peaceful. This property is perfect for a couple seeking a peaceful retreat. Cannot fault it really. Very comfortable living area and bedroom. Kitchen has everything needed. Outside area is spacious with large decking area.
Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again in the future.
