A tranquil setting, convenient to the Rocky Mountain National Park and to the town of Estes Park. A five minute drive will put you at the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. Five minutes will also get you to the center of downtown Estes Park. Most restaurants are within ten minutes and all of the fine dining within fifteen minutes of this property.
This 2700 square foot home sits at an elevation of 8200 feet at the base of Rams Horn Mountain. Natural beauty and Wilderness are right outside the door.
We have named our mountain house 'Dream Lake' after one of our favorite hiking trail stops. Hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park to Emerald Lake and Lake Haiyaha take us past Dream Lake.
Hi-speed Internet, Secure Wireless network anywhere in the house and on the decks. Internet computer provided for guest use.Wireless printer with scan and copy.
Hi-def home theater with surround sound, Satellite, Netflix, movie library, DVR, DVD,VCR. Screen is 120' diagonal. Lots of entertainment here.

My husband and I and our 3 children and grandchildren stayed in this very well stocked and comfortable home. We had other family members staying in a nearby house. We enjoyed hiking in RMNP and visiting together in the evenings It was very easy to book this home and communication with the owner was seamless. We appreciated all the baby items provided so we didn’t have to bring them from home. We would consider staying here again!!

We had a great week at the cabin. Very clean and well stocked. Views were amazing! Gary, the owner, was very good at communicating. Actually, we were there during the fire and he kept very close contact with me, helping me know what to do in case of evacuation. We didn’t have to, thankfully! Got to stay our whole week!! Love Estes and loved this cabin!

We had a wonderful time at Gary’s house in Estes Park. This place was very comfortable for the entire family. We really appreciated the highchair, pack and play, and security gates for the stairs since we were traveling with a one year old. The host is extremely responsive. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed and more.highly recommend.

Wonderful, clean property for families with young children - 2 pack n plays, high chairs, baby gate, games and books. Plenty of space for kids to play. Big enough dining area and well stocked kitchen to prepare and share meals. Family rooms upstairs and down. Laundry and 3 full bathrooms. Convenient to RMNP and Estes Park.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The home had a fantastic location that was close enough to Estes, but still tranquil and quiet with beautiful views. The owner, Gary, was wonderful and quick to respond to our questions.

We stayed for one week with 9 people. We had 5 high schoolers and 4 adults. The place is amazing and has everything you would need so don’t overpack. Everyone had their own beds with kids downstairs and adults upstairs. All the towels, soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. was included. Everything was very clean upon arrival. They have plenty of board games and books, and puzzles. The downstairs had rock band which our 5 kids loved playing during their downtime. There are thousands of movies to choose from if you are staying in. The kitchen and covered porch provided ample places for eating and playing games. The kitchen had all the spices you need as well as other odds and ends to make cooking easier. The proximity to town is perfect. Quick 5 min drive and you are in Estes or in Rocky Mountain National Park. Gary, the owner of the property was amazing as well. Attentive to all of our needs and willing to do anything to make our stay more comfortable. The only constructive criticism we would have is that since they have so many things in closets and drawers available to the guest, it didn’t provide much space in some of the bedrooms to unload your suitcases into the drawers and closets. We would definitely stay here again when we come back!

We have stayed in this home twice in the past year. It fits our family perfectly. The house is so comfortable and homey with everything you need to fix family meals and is also the most stocked home I’ve ever stayed at.
The location is also wonderful. You feel secluded yet you are close to town and the National Park.
The host is also great to work with.

lots of space, friendly and helpful owner (we had medicine that arrived after we left and Gary helped us get it quickly). location is excellent and the backyard, toys, and games kept the kids very happy.

I would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay near Estes Park and RMNP. The view was amazing! Gary was wonderful to work with. The house had everything we wanted and more!

This place was cozy, well-appointed, and a perfect place to watch the snow, hang out, cook and enjoy the area. We saw deer several times, enjoyed the hot tub, and ventured out into Rocky Mountain National Park a couple of times!

Dealing with Gary, the owner/manager, was pleasurable. He made himself available for anything we needed and provided written instructions on all things related to the house.
House was clean and spacious with all the amenities one might want. Excellent view, easy access from Estes Park. Great vacay for our family.

Wonderful place to stay. We were a family of 8 and there was plenty of space! The house was well stocked with everything you would need! The location was nicely tucked away from everyone and the kids could go outside and play in the yard!! My nephew commented “When we come back, can we stay here again!”

We had a wedding in Estes Park and booked this property. Overall the views and location were great. Gary the Property owner was great to deal with and offered us suggestions on things to do while in the area. We would highly recommend this property.

The mice in the house was not good, no one liked them. The oven was in need of cleaning. It was extremely dirty & smoked up the house . Two windows were left open from previous people & were very hard to get shut. There was only one bathroom down stair for 3 bedrooms. Only one bedroom downstairs had a mirror in it. Place is in need of an update.

As many others have stated the house is stocked so well and that truly is a game changer. We had my immediate family of 6 (4 kids), my in laws and an aunt and uncle. The house was perfect for our party of 10. We made several meals, enjoyed the hot tub, and watching elk walk through the front and back yard. We used the grills to cook dinner a few nights. Plenty of bathrooms and towels and comfortable beds. We loved the comfy living room furniture as well. My kids loved playing the board games, working on puzzles and using the arts and crafts they found.

View from back deck was just as pictured. We had trouble turning up the heat. Called the manager & he fixed it online! They have EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The house was easy to find. We had 6 women & it was very comfortable for us all. Very close to the Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP & Famous Dave's BBQ. There's also the Country grocery store at the intersection.

This house was one of the best I've ever stayed in. It fit my family perfectly. The owner took such special care to ensure we had what we needed including loads of paper towels and extra batteries. All the details were so appreciated. Plus the views were fantastic and the accommodations very comfortable. We look forward to staying here again next year!

We were all very happy with all aspects of the property. It was the perfect distance from town and in close proximity to trail heads for hiking. Very private and quiet with adequate distance to neighbors. Good views of the Mummy range. Extremely well equipped especially the kitchen.We enjoyed a tremendous selection of movies. We didn’t need AC but it was nice to know it was available. Hot tub was nice after hikes. Gary the owner was there when we arrived and provided a thorough introduction to the house. Overall it was an excellent choice for a mountain retreat especially for a larger group.

Our grandson was thrilled to return to “his” Estes house! This was a repeat stay! We love the quiet tranquil atmosphere. There was more than enough room for 5 adults and 2 children. Well stocked for our needs. Prepared several meals and everything we needed (except food) was available. Thank you Gary

This house was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of room for our family of 11, the most well stocked kitchen of any house we’ve ever stayed in, the views and outdoor areas amazing and our grandkids loved seeing the deer and fawns in the morning and evenings. Gary thank you for hosting us we all agreed it was our best vacation ever.

Absolutely loved the house. It had everything we could possibly need and more. Enjoyed having coffee out on the deck every morning and seeing deer walk by, the blue bird living in the bird house on the deck or the chipmunks running around. The home was big enough for the 10 of us to feel comfortable and never felt crowded. Gary was quick to respond to any needs or questions we had. Overall fantasic experience!

The house was just the right size for our group of 12 ranging from three years old up to 70+ years old, including five children up to 13 years old. The house was very well furnished with plenty of cooking utensils, plenty of bedding, great decks And beautiful views. Gary is a great host! We had several questions and a couple of things we needed his help with, and he responded very promptly and was very cordial throughout the whole process. Our whole family, including the grandparents, the children and grandchildren thoroughly loved our stay here. We will definitely come back again!

Wow! This home was more than we expected. Check in was easy. Plenty spacious and the home included all the extras you think you’ll need. From walking sticks to baby gates, to fishing supplies and plenty of games for a family game night. The views were amazing! The game area was a hit for the younger kids. There was even plenty of spices and kitchen gadgets that you literally felt like you were able home! Thank you so much Gary for a beautiful home!

The property is in a great location to RMNP! So easy to get around!! And it had everything we could have needed and more! Owner checked in a few times to make sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely would recommend for a large group!

The house was fantastic with so many extras. It has multiple bedrooms with very comfortable beds, enough seats for everyone both inside and outside, and so many games to play or tv features. It is close enough to town to grab anything after long days of hiking at RMNP. Loved the visits from the deer and wild turkeys.
