DESTINATIONS
Santorini is one of the most famous islands in the world and one of the top touristic destinations. The unique caldera created by the eruption of the volcano has an incredible energy and power making all visitors fall in love with its otherworldly beauty. Experience the magic and thrills that the island of Santorini offers by choosing to stay in the Antelmi Houses.
-Santorini Island
Santorini is the island of the caldera, the beautiful landscapes, the unique products and the black, red and white beaches. It has a rich history and presence in time, a significant culinary tradition and a number of attractions, villages and beaches that are worth visiting and exploring during your stay in Santorini.
History & Sights ... The island of Santorini was one of the centres where the Cycladic civilization was developed. The prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Mediterranean. Visit the archaeological site of Akrotiri to admire a city annihilated by the great volcanic eruption in 1600 BC. The findings from the archaeological site are displayed in the Museum of Prehistoric Thera. Visit also Ancient Thira on the top of Mesa Vouno in Kamari and the Archaeological Museum of Thera to witness the culture that developed in the 4th century BC in Santorini. In the Kastelia and Goulades of Santorini (Akrotiri, Skaros/ Imerovigli, Pyrgos, Oia, Emporio) you will see how the Santorinians protected themselves from pirate raids in the 15th century through walks in these castle cities of the island. The wealth and power of the island in the 18th century is etched in the mansions of the island, mainly located in Oia and Messaria. In a series of private institutions and museums in Fira like the Belloneio Foundation, the Foundation of P. Nomikos, the Santozeum and the Maritime and Folklore Museum, in Oia and Kontochori respectively you can see many aspects of the history and the importance of Santorini through time.
Villages ... In Santorini, there are many villages that are worth visiting in order to see the beauty and listen to the stories narrated in the narrow streets, in the shadow of the steeples and the beautiful courtyards of the houses. Visit the medieval village of Pyrgos with the evocative atmosphere, the churches and climb up to the Monastery of Prophet Elias to enjoy the view. At Akrotiri, apart from the Archaeological area, you can visit the emblematic lighthouse and admire all of Santorini from the south side of the island. Do not miss a stop at the Castle of Emporio, the most well preserved Castle of the island and its neighbouring Megalochori with its alluring rustic atmosphere. In the village of Oia, the unique architecture and awe-inspiring views to the caldera and the sunset completes your visits to the villages of Santorini in the best way possible.
Beaches ... The beaches of Santorini are each one of a kind. The volcanic origin of the beaches results in various colours of sand and unique, savage sceneries that fill you with images never seen before. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the Red Beach with the red rock that unites the land and the sea and creates a unique coastal landscape. Volcanic setting with other colours, black sand - white rocks, you will find at the beach of Vlychada. For walks and shopping before or after swimming visit the two Blue Flag awarded beaches of Kamari with the excellent organization. Equally well organized are the beaches of Perivolos and Perissa (also Blue Flag awarded) with many proposals for food, drinks and water sports. In Santorini you will also find a series of beaches that are not organized where you can enjoy your swim in privacy surrounded by the rough volcanic wilderness.
Gastronomy ... In the volcanic soil of Santorini grows a range of products that are unique world widely. The wines of Santorini, the most famous of which is Vinsanto, with the "explosive" character and unique flavours are the best accompaniment for enjoying the sunset in Santorini. Do not miss the Santorini cherry tomatoes, the white eggplant, capers and fava growing on the island for 3,500 years. At the restaurants on the island you will enjoy unique flavours and mouth-watering combinations of local ingredients in creative dishes that draw their inspiration from the rich culinary tradition of Santorini.
Must live Santorini experience ... to experience the magic of the island do not miss a cruise in the waters of the caldera on a traditional boat or on the deck of a luxurious catamaran. Ask the people of Villa Antelmi to advise you on all the details, and also arrange for you an unforgettable cruise in the Aegean Sea.

The only mansion open to the public on the entire island, Argyros Mansion, is located just a few steps from the Antelmi Houses.
Here you will be part of the authentic everyday life on the island. The architecture of the village follows the genuine structure where the houses were built next to each other to be protected from the winds. In Antelmi Houses you will have the chance to enjoy moments of bliss and relaxation at the swimming pool, unwind in the sun loungers and enjoy the tastes of Santorini in the dining areas of the complex.

This property was a great find! Eleni, the hostess, met us promptly when we arrived. She showed us around and explained everything we needed to know about it, as well as about the neighboring town. She gave us advice of what to do and where to eat, and promptly answered all my many questions I had the entire time we stayed on Santorini. The property itself looks exactly like the pictures. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The pool was great. We were not in downtown Fira, which was good because the bars are loud until 2-4am nightly. Plus it is very difficult to get to the hotels in town since most of them are down many uneven stairs. Our property was located 5 minutes away by transport or bus, which stops every 20 min right by the location. The town it’s in is adorable and had a great bakery, many good restaurants, and 2 supermarkets. There is no on site washer dryer but the laundromat was a 5 min walk, not a big deal. We did not need a car at all and I would recommend against that here since the streets are difficult to navigate and drivers here in Greece are aggressive. We used a transport service to get around, about 50 euros per trip for 11 of us. Worth every cent. Ultimately, the property was perfect for our large group and the hostess made this part of our trip go very smoothly. Did I mention Eleni even made us homemade Tiropita?!? Thank you for everything and I do hope our paths cross again. They definitely will if we return to Santorini!

The stay we had at Antelmi Houses was perfect for our long weekend at a wedding, the property is a lot more spacious than pictures do justice - and incredibly functional (fridge/coffee/supplies in every room was brilliant). Enables everyone to have privacy despite being in a large group staying.
Eleni was superb from pre visit right to departure, accommodating multiple transfer requests and organisation - a 5 star host!!
We had a delicious breakfast on the Sunday which was laid out nicely but Eleni and team - worth arranging.
The property is suitable for all types of groups, families with children, friends, couples etc
The location is great being right in the middle of the island, not far from Fira and with superb local restaurant, Ta Postalia just round corner.
Thank you Eleni!

We loved our stay at Antelmi House. The villa is beautiful and well-appointed, the pool the perfect place for a dip. Eleni was an INCREDIBLE host and helped us both before and during our trip with planning, organization and generally helping us orient to Santorini. We had a great stay and would choose to stay there again when visiting the island.

We would 100% stay here again! Beautiful villa and incredibly helpful host! Perfect for our group of eight - girls area, boys area and separate quarters for parents! Eleni was so so kind and gave us help with activity ideas, prepared an amazing breakfast, schedule vans for transport for our large group! We hope to return!!! Five stars for sure!!!

Amazing villa with enough private space for my husband and I, our 3 adult children plus two partners. Would highly recommend

We were greeted by Eleni who showed us all the units. Each one different but all amazing. The pool area was perfect! We took advantage of it each day. The VRBO is so central to the island that you could either head north or south to explore. It's vicinity to restaurants, bakeries and supermarket made it so easy to get what we needed. One morning, Eleni brought us homemade spanakopita. It was amazing and totally not necessary. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Santorini!!

Fantastic experience, wouldn’t have been the same without Elini’s help.

First off, I have commend Eleni for her responsiveness to any of my questions leading up to our week long stay at Antelmi villas in Mesaria and her incredible hospitality. My five girlfriends from all parts of the world were celebrating a 60th birthday and the villa did not fail us in any way. The rooftop deck and speaker were amazing surprises as were our dance parties, sunrises and moonrises. The location had a more local feel, not as crazy busy as Fira and Oia, and was close to amenities such as shops and restaurants. I would rate this experience at 11 out of 10. Thank you, Eleni. PS She makes delicious boureka!

5 of us had an amazing 3 night stay in Santorini. Eleni helped with every detail and was immediately responsive. We missed her attention to detail after we left!

The property worked well for our group. Eleni the property manager was excellent as were the staff. Breakfast was delicious!
We found the location not easily accessible to all the sights - you will need to rent a car or arrange for transportation which is costly.
Neighbourhood is noisy at night due to local kids hanging around the villa and motorcycle racing on the nearby streets.

Eight friends from Canada stayed at Eleni’s place and it was amazing!! The accommodations were spectacular and allowed all of us to converge in one place, each having our own rooms. The views from her place were amazing and well within walking distance of everything. Eleni’s help with restaurants, excursions and travel made everything so easy. Her attention to detail was amazing and we would recommend everyone to stay at here. Fabulous!!!

It surpassed our expectations. Gorgeous property. We wanted something central in Santorini and location was good. We would have liked a better view of the sea, so that’s the only thing missing.

The pictures and overall layout plan on the site do NOT. do this place justice! What an amazing stay! We enjoyed this house the most from the houses we stayed at. What a great time in Santorini! The food was just amazing! The beach was even better! Thank you Eleni for all your help and recommendations! It really helped our time in Santorini be even better! Stay Well!

Myself and my group of girlfriends did a getaway this summer, And this villa will be one of our favorite memories! It was amazing! Our House cleaner came by daily with fresh towels and tidied up. Elani was very communicative, and helped us with transfers and any information we needed! We loved this part of Santorini, it is quiet and away from the hustle and bussel, yet we could still walk to dinner. We took the bus from right down the road into fira very easily! Thank you for an amazing stay!

My family and my sister/brother in law’s family shared the complex with 9 of us with plenty of space. Eleni was the most responsive, diligent host imaginable attending to all of our needs including arranging daily transportation, excursions, and making the most wonderful breakfast each day. She could not have been a more thoughtful and helpful host. We were very lucky to have her.

We traveled with 8 of us, all couples, to celebrate an anniversary and to reunite family in paradise for a week.
The property was perfectly located to explore the island and within a short walk to great local restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, etc. The property itself was plenty large for our family, we actually had 2 bedrooms that weren't occupied.
Every single part of the property was perfect for us - super well organized, clean, just perfect.
But the best part of our stay was Eleni - who organized many parts of our stay and each part of what she touched was spot on. She arranged a personal chef (amazing), restaurant reservations (great tables with breath taking views), a catamaran outing that was absolutely over the top. We all joked that we need Eleni in our every day lives because everything she touched was perfect.
Stay here, you won't regret it.

We LOVED this property for our multi-generation trip of 11 (from age 9-75)! The rooms were clean and well appointed, and gave each family independent space while allowing folks to be together in the outdoor common areas by the pool.
The home is centrally located - only 10-20 min drive to Oia, Fira, port, airport, beach, etc. And, it makes you feel like you're living amongst the locals!
The ONLY thing I wish I had known is that it's a short walk (3 min) from the road - no problem for most of us but my mother (with a bad knee) had some trouble with it.
Would book this place again and again!

We had a large family stay. The villa was perfect! Beautiful and functional. Close yo amenities. Thank you!

Charming.....Loved the individual spaces that all face the pool area (which was very private). Very clean and inviting. The house was not walking distance to Fira nor Oia. But there was the convenience of a bakery, grocery store and many restaurants within walking distance. Host, Eleni, was very accommodating and arranged many transports for us during our stay.

We were a group of 10 traveling the Greek islands in early June and this property fit us perfectly! It has 4 separate units in the compound which were all beautifully decorated and super comfortable. And the pool was awesome! It is so nice we struggled to leave and get out for the day! It’s in the southern part of the island in the traditional town of Messaria. We didn’t want to be in the hubbub of the northern towns and we rented cars to get around and see as much of the island as we could.
We only had 3 nights on Santorini but this place made us want to stay longer! Eleni is top notch one of the best hosts I’ve encountered with VRBO. She arranged transfers for us (group of 10 remember!) upon arrival and departure with extra stops to pick up and drop off the rental cars. She offers breakfast and/or dinner prepared at the house; we did breakfast the morning of our catamaran tour and it was spectacular! She even left us the rest to snack on later! She can set up tours and anything else you may need. And oh! There a young lady who comes to make your bed and clean up after you EVERY MORNING! We felt like kings and queens! If we ever go back, we will stay with Antelmi Houses and Eleni again for sure!

Messaria is an amazing place to stay to facilitate your time on Santorini. Eleni was an amazing host! She met us and escorted us to our place. The hospitality is something else! Eleni greater us with a welcome platter and wine, took the time to show us on a map points of interest and was always available for questions. The facility comes with a transfer service and traditional breakfast offerings for a fee, making other extras. The place was clean and inviting, the pool was refreshing and the privacy allowed us to feel safe and comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

Eleni provided excellent support for us helping us hire cars, hire a motor cruise, find restaurants and the property is amazing.

The Antelmi home was perfect!
It is conveniently located in the middle of the island for easy access to every location. It’s well maintained, decorated beautifully and stocked with all the amenities of home.
And our hostess, Eleni, is the best in the business! Besides providing an amazing place to stay, she was easy to get ahold of for any questions. She had great recommendations & connections to the best tours, restaurants, ATVs, etc. which made this vacation epic!

Beautiful,comfortable stay!
Where to begin! We were a group of 7 adults and 1 baby. The property was clean, beautiful and perfectly located in the quiet town of Messaria. We loved being out of the overcrowded towns of Fira and Oia. Both are close and easy to visit. Hands down, the very best part of this property is Eleni. Planning for over a year, Eleni made reservations for an incredible private balcony dinner, a catamaran tour of the caldera, arranged for our rental cars, and made us a 5 star breakfast every morning. Each morning we peppered her with questions on what to do and she happily supplied us with many ideas. Don’t miss this property (and Eleni)!! Thank you!!

Wonderful visit to Santorini
We had a lovely stay with Eleni and were very appreciative of her warm hospitality. She suggested a talented chef to cook meals both nights on the open air deck for our group of 9. Eleni’a breakfasts were a sumptuous affair of fruits, pastries and egg dishes. I highly recommend this beautiful property.

Stay
I had such a great experience! Loved Elani from the start. She was very helpful. I was able to book transfers through her and this was invaluable as we did not rent a car. She met my family and I at the house to go over must see locations and great local restaurants. Highly recommend this beautiful villa for anyone traveling to Santorini! We will be back!

Perfect location for family of 10
Eleni was the best hostess, keeping in close touch before, finding us a driver, Mr Takis, to pick us up at the airport, greeting us and showing us how things worked. Even on the last day, not only did she give us a late checkout but brought us homemade Easter bread.
We loved the 4 villas, and the pool and outdoor deck despite cool weather. The beds were very comfortable, the design of the villas beautiful. We highly recommend this accommodation for family or a group. We also liked the location in the traditional village of Mesaria..the walk to Fira for lunch was an easy one. But we did try a restaurant in Mesaria as well as buying picnic food from bakery and local grocery store.

Fantastic stay!
Just returned from a 16 day vacation in Greece on several of the islands. There were 8 adults traveling from island to island. Santorini was our favorite island, beautiful, fun and felt like the true Greek experience. The ANTELMI HOUSES were our favorite. The location was perfect, the views spectacular and the host great. Eleni welcomed us with a beautiful tour of the houses, plenty of space to spread out and privacy. The Houses were stunning, so clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Eleni gave us great recommendations to restaurants and to the best sunrise and sunset views. Wonderful experience, thank you Eleni!

Incredible!
My wife and I, our 20, 18 and 15 year old kids and our friend and her 20 year old daughter had the vacation of a lifetime in Santorini thanks to our host Eleni, the spacious layout of the four unit home and pool and our location in the quiet centrally located, “non-touristy” village of Messaria.
Eleni is one in a million. Her attention to detail, work ethic, communication skills and local connections make the trip. She arranged a fishing trip, a sunset cruise, horseback riding, winery tour, days at the beach, restaurant reservations, a meal prepared by a local chef at the house and all van transfers. For a reasonable fee she provides an amazing breakfast.
The home is a small walled in compound with four units steps apart from one another that surround a beautiful pool. The location in the village of Messaria is a short drive from Fira, Oia, the ports and beaches and it’s much more quiet and quaint than the beautiful but busy towns of Fira and Oia. You’ll get a feel for local life without missing the main attractions.
We’d go back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful property with amazing host
We, family of 11, 7 adults and 4 kids spent a memorable week at the property. Location is convenient, just few minute walk from mini market, few restaurants and car/ scooter rentals. It is also short 15 min walk from wine museum, that i would highly recommend to visit. The property was wonderful, clean and convenient. Beautifully decorated and for convenience we had everything, from dishes for meals, drinks, to towels, toiletries and slippers. All families had private units and a beautiful shared space for meals, games inside or lounging by the pool. We ordered breakfast at home and it was plentiful. I have to write about our host, Eleni, who was very helpful and made our vacation planing so much easier. She organized our driver, who was always 15 min away to take us anywhere we wanted to go. Eleni helped us book a catamaran for sunset tour and that was a highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this beautiful property. Rest assure that Eleni will ensure your greek holiday will be unforgettable.

Wonderful stay in Santorini
Our two families with kids ranging in age from 14 to 6 had a wonderful time staying at the villas in Messaria. Eleni made everything special for us from accommodating a last minute change in check in time to arranging dinners and breakfasts at the house to transportation. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and getting over jet lag at these beautiful villas. The supermarket is an easy walk for a few items to supplement the plentiful breakfasts and dinners that Eleni arranged. We were grateful for Eleni’s hospitality which made our stay so memorable.

The Best!
Elaini greeted us with open arms. The place is 8 minutes from the airport and close to a bus stop that takes you to either Fira or Oia ( no need to rent a car). We were a group of 10 and the place was perfect! They have paid attention to the finer details, from plenty of shampoo, soap, down to plush robes and slippers. Thanks again, we definitely recommend it.

Spectacular Santorini
Wow what a place, it is absolutely fantastic. We were two families (12) people traveling and this home was able to comfortably accommodate us all. Well maintained, clean and comfortable. Now I could go on for hours about Eleni she is absolutely amazing. When planning your trip to Santorini and need some recommendations of things to do or transportation let Eleni make all the arrangements. She is fabulous. I would also recommend having the chef cook for you at least one evening and let him choose his favorites to cook, as well as have the breakfast in the morning.
If I could give a the property a higher rating I would! This place was one of the best we have stayed at!
