Our stay was amazing! Everything was perfect! Better than advertized - clean, well stocked with games, towels, kitchenware- beautiful and inviting deck…!

This house is very spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Great kitchen with all the supplies you could want (that I could see). The furniture, carpet, fixtures etc. aren't brand sparkling new or high-end or anything, but it was still just great for our needs. Recommend for big groups or families needing a place to stay on South Whidbey!

This is a beautiful property that was perfect for our week long family get together. We were visited by birds, chipmunks and deer in the garden. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and used the grill for a cookout. There are two spacious living areas and plenty of space for 6 adults (plus 2 extra for one night). We visited Seattle, Everette, Langley and took a whale watching tour out of Anacortes. Lots is great together time and time spent outdoors. We definitely recommend this property for a family stay!

Very nice house with lots of space. Beds were good. Kitchen had about everything youcould want to use. Nice decks. Could use more closet space or places to hang things. Highly recommend this place.

We were glad to find a place to stay on short notice and it met our needs perfectly. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck on the patio furniture in the evening. So peaceful and beautiful! Being a “pet-friendly” rental, I was expecting some dog hair, etc., here and there and that was the case. It was pretty hot upstairs in the bedrooms with no AC, but each room was supplied with a box fan and it cooled down nicely in the evenings. Thankful for the rental, and crabbing on Whidbey didn’t disappoint!

Great house. Plenty of space. We went out for a wedding at The Wayfarer which was just 4ish miles down the road. Goss lake access was really great but make sure to turn left when you get to the bottom of the driveway to get to the public access spot. We accidentally went right and took the scenic route around the whole lake. Very fun, nicely cleaned house that fit our 2 families very well!!

Great house to accommodate large number of guests and pets. Appreciated the number of bedrooms. Surrounding property was nice. It's got a very cabin/lake house vibe and feels lived-in, so cleanliness/tidiness/quality of furnishings and appliances was conducive to that. A bit outdated and cluttered, but served its purpose! Overall great stay and bang for your buck!

Loved the location and we had plenty of room to spread out.

The first night we were there we would hear a faint moaning like sound. Sometimes about every 15 seconds. Someone in our group familiar with lift stations thought maybe this was the noise. We called management the next morning. I believe on Friday morning we woke to a loud buzzing noise!!! Again we called. Our person familiar with septic issues went outside and shut off the noise at the outside box, but the red warning light on the box stayed on. Again this was reported. And the outside trash bins were full and we also reported this issue.
The home was very comfortable, kitchen pantry had a good selection of items! We were all happy with this aspect of our stay.

The place is charming and nice. We experienced a number of irritating elements but made the most of it all. With some better set up those challenges would have been mitigated if not fixed. No one is perfect of course, but it seemed like there were a lot of things overlooked here.

The place was perfect for our board retreat! Short walk down to the lake and cozy house with plenty of space!

The house is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and that deck is perfect for a morning cup of coffee looking at the lake, and for an owl to keep us company in the evening. Langley, with all of those cute shops (and great pizza) was close enough and decked out for the holidays. We had real family meals using the fully functional kitchen and the table was big enough to accommodate the boardgames perfectly! The driveway was steep, but okay since there was no ice. The wifi was good. Overall, my family really enjoyed the whole experience!

This is a nice property with an open floor plan in a peaceful location. There were a few minor issues with the lights in a couple of the rooms, but Vacasa addressed these quickly. Vacasa also brought by a propane cylinder for the grill, as the one provided cylinder was empty. Sadly, the grill ended up not working anyway. Overall a good experience though. A nice property at a good value.

The house was clean, the pictures were accurate. There was an additional bed in the master bedroom that pulls out. The master bedroom has a balcony you can go on and the first floor deck has nice outdoor furniture although we didn't try out the heat lamps. Both the balcony and deck face the lake. Plenty of space, easy instructions for entering and leaving. Internet worked great. We didn't watch any TV or movies so can't speak to that. Dog friendly, although it has to be leashed since the small backyard area is not fenced. Highly recommend for people and dog owners!

It had a lot of bedrooms but my 12 year old granddaughter found weed (the kind you smoke) under her bed her mom threw it away but I wanted to make it aware

This was a nice house for a getaway for myself, my husband and our 2 small children (1 and 3). We loved the cabin feel, loved how large it was, and the amount of bedrooms was more than we needed. The place was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, towels (including beach towels), and books. Back deck was beautiful and we saw deer right in the garden out back. Easy check in process.
We however, encountered some issues. There were ants in and around the kitchen area. Kitchen counter, island, and around the window sill above the sink. Summertime near a lake, it’s to be expected, but when I messaged the Vacasa rep, they said they’d report this to local staff, and I never heard back about this.
Another issue we had was with the running water. The morning after we arrived, the water stopped working. We received a prompt reply, but didn’t know what was wrong until 6 hours later (not the stress we were looking forward to on a vacation). We found out that the city was doing a water flush for the homes in the area, but we weren’t aware of it, and apparently the rep wasn’t aware of it either. We came home after a day at the beach to very murky water running from the taps. Saving grace was that the rep delivered lots of jugs and bottles of water for us to consume.
Also, the wifi name and password wasn’t correct. We had to search through some paperwork in the kitchen area to find the right credentials.
Goss Lake is beautiful, but the public access is about a 10 min walk, and it’s pretty much just boat access. Very small strip of entry for lake goers. We went to double bluff beach (13 min drive) - definitely a must.

The home was clean and attractive and the kitchen was very well supplied. That includes not just the dishes, pans, etc. but spices, foil, and other pantry items. The mattresses were very comfortable in all four bedrooms and we slept well. It is clearly a beloved vacation home for a family. Through no fault of Vacasa or the owner, there was no cell phone connection available, no responding to texts, etc. We could receive texts and email but couldn't answer them. There was a land line in the master for emergencies but it would be helpful to have the number written on it. One member of the group would have appreciated a metal clothes rack in her room, even hooks on the walls and hangers, since there are no closets available. She was thinking of someone renting it for a place to stay for an island wedding. All four of us agreed that we would happily return to the house another time.

The house was great, comfy beds and a fully stocked kitchen. Great patio and fire pit area. Lots of fun games to choose from and plenty of comfortable space in the house. ** the only thing I would say, bring your own toilet paper, we had 9 guests and were only left with 3 rolls for 3 nights**

We loved the roominess of this home in a quiet setting. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. The back deck with comfy patio furniture for relaxing was perfect! The lake is off in the distance without access from the home. Beautiful area!

This home is in a very serene location with all the amenities as a home away from home. Outdoor seating and surroundings are outstanding. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Very clean, spacious, great outdoor space. Good gathering spaces on main level and on deck.

This property was just as described in the posting. Very clean, easy check in process, lots of activities for the family, and all the amenities you need. The location is quiet and peaceful. There were enough rooms and beds for our family with 5 kids and 5 adults and a dog. Wonderful!

The house is spectacular - just as in the photos. Each room was just as nice as the next. The covered deck was fabulous and blended seamlessly with the indoor space. Lots of room for everyone, including two livingrooms. Games galore for the kids, a firepit, a fully stocked kitchen. The perfect place for a getaway.

Good stay
The living area was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had ants that would appear when trying to prepare food. There were not enough plates for 10 people even though it sleeps 10. The master bed was not very comfortable. I sent a few messages to the property manager asking questions about the parking limitation of 2 vehicles but my questions weren’t answered properly. It felt like they didn’t really read my questions. The location was very nice and peaceful. I would probably stay here again.

So much better than expected!
We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Communication was excellent! Home was clean, stocked, and so warm!

Beautiful and serene
Beautiful location, overlooking the lake from the patio. The living room has a cozy cabin feel, the kids loved all the space both inside and out to explore! Near lots of nice beaches to comb for shells and unique rocks. Great experience, we’ll definitely have to make this a traditional family stay here!

Beautiful View
The house was well maintained, with comfortable furniture and a beautiful view. The house was well stocked with linens and kitchen items. Location had easy access to the ferry, stores and restaurants. Only drawback is all rooms had queen beds, though it comfortably housed the 8 of us, it would have been nice to have some rooms with single beds so guest could have their own bed. Also even with the wifi (which we were very grateful for) the signal strength is very weak in the area and had a hard time working on my computer or phone.

Home for the holidays
I rented this for family visiting for Christmas, so I didn't actually stay in the house. From reports, the house was very comfortable. We did have a snowstorm, and the short, very steep driveway became a real problem. It would have been nice if the owner had provided a snow shovel.

Cozy accommodations in the forest
The house was well appointed and easily accommodated 3 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house in the middle of the night taking the dogs out and appreciated the 24x7 support to help us find spare key!

Cell service for communication was pretty much nonexistent if you really need it but it definitely was nice and quiet . Enjoyed our stay

Absolutely Lovely
House was perfect for a quick low key getaway with friends. Lots of room. Layout was spacious so we didn’t feel on top of each other. Our most used areas were the outside porch and inside by the fireplace. Very thankful for the grill and fireplace because of a 12 hour blackout that occurred across the island during our stay. Without them we wouldn’t have had warm food, light, or heat. It wasn’t how we expected the stay to go but we made the best of it and ended up having a good time. Will have to come back when we can fully enjoy everything.

Beautiful getaway
This is very lovely house with no others in view - nothing but green out all the windows of the open plan, plus a peak of the lake from the spacious deck. Super well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds throughout. The only problem we had was their ridiculous limitation on the number of cars - only three allowed at a house that sleeps 10 and has a huge parking area that could easily accommodate five. This made a daily hassle trying to find other places to leave our cars.

Perfect Place to relax and get away
5 church ladies looking for a relaxing, no demands weekend had a perfect stay. The less than 2-mile walk around the lake was a perfect way to stretch our legs each day. Bird watching in the back, bunnies, deer, butterflies - peaceful paradise.

Beautiful getaway
The place is adorable, the backyard is the best feature for sure! We sat for hours and enjoyed the birds chirping and bunnies hopping! Had a wonderful fire in the outdoor fire pit. I had been in contact with the manager about the outdoor lantern and mentioned how nice it would have been if there was firewood, and if the bird feeders had been full.. she had someone drop off birdseed and firewood a few hours later! Apparently the birds had been getting sick in the area off birdseed, so they hadn’t been using and forgot to refill. It was a wonderful touch to a beautiful trip! I wish the water pressure had been better.. I had booked the place because I was craving the huge bathtub, it’s just not possible to fill that tub with hot water. You will need many trips of pots of boiling water, lol! That was my only complaint! We woke up a few minutes late and the manager and cleaning crew was so understanding and awesome! Definitely want to come back longer next year.

Perfect stay
It was a great weekend away with the family. The was plenty of space for the 6 adults and 4 kids. We enjoyed a little campfire the first night. The house is stocked with all cooking supplies you will need, including spices so no need to bring your own. We stayed in the master bedroom with our kids. There was plenty of sleeping space as there is a daybed with a rollout trundle bed. I wish i noticed the trundle bed the first night. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back soon.
